TOOL ARRANGEMENT FOR APPLICATION AND/OR RELEASE OF NUT TYPE FASTENERS
Methods and devices for providing a threaded male member for a fastening arrangement are disclosed. The threaded male member can include at least one reaction portion at or towards at least one respective end of the threaded male member for use in reacting applied torque during tightening or releasing an associated nut of the fastening arrangement. The at least one reaction portion can be a permanent feature of the threaded male member and can remain part of the threaded male member after said tightening to a target torque.
LOW PROFILE BOLT/CLIP ASSEMBLY
A fastening system includes a fastener having a shank with a threaded portion and a head region disposed at an end of the shank and defining a retaining cavity in an end thereof. A clip includes a base region snap fit in the retaining cavity of the fastener and an anchor region for anchoring a wire harness, hose, cable sheath or other component.

Loosening-preventing device for pipe fitting
A loosening-preventing device for pipe fitting. In the device, a casing includes a semispherical member equipped with an open surface, a female screw thread disposed at one end of the semispherical member, and a finishing member disposed at the other end of the semispherical member. A locking member has a male screw thread and a head at one end of the male screw thread, so as to connect to the female screw thread of the casing. The screw clamping of the casing and the locking member prevents the pipe fitting from rotating, thereby preventing the pipe fitting from being loosened.
Theft deterrent apparatus
A mounting hardware and theft deterrent device includes a hand knob; a threaded screw coupled to the hand knob; a U-clip configured to replace a stock retaining clip on a motorcycle frame and for placement on the motorcycle frame to receive the threaded screw coupled to the hand knob and thereby to secure a motorcycle saddlebag to the motorcycle; and a lock washer for placement over the threaded screw coupled to the hand knob before the threaded screw is inserted into the U-clip. The hand knob, threaded screw fixedly coupled to an underside surface of the hand knob, U-clip, and lock washer collectively form the theft deterrent device. The theft deterrent device is configured for utilization to secure a motorcycle saddlebag to a motorcycle frame without a need for any additional installation tools. The theft deterrent device includes a retaining clip to hold the hand knob to the motorcycle saddlebag.

Mantle retaining system and method for a gyratory crusher
A retainer assembly for securing a mantle to a mainshaft of a gyratory crusher. The retainer assembly includes a headnut and a burn ring that are joined to each other prior to installation. The headnut includes a first and a second series of bores that each extend though the annular headnut. A series of jacking bolts are installed in the second series of bores and a series of connector are installed in the first series of bores. The combination of the headnut and burn ring are installed on the mainshaft. Once in place, the connectors are removed and a series of cylinders are positioned in the first series of bores. The cylinders are pressurized to create a gap between the headnut and the burn ring. The series of jacking bolts are rotated to maintain the gap and one or more shims can be positioned in the gap. The cylinder are removed and a headnut cover is installed to protect the headnut. During removal of the headnut, the cylinders can be reinstalled and pressurized.
