The housing includes an accommodation space, a top surface, a bottom surface, an engagement aperture and a notch. The engagement aperture is embedded in the top surface, the engagement aperture communicates with the accommodation space, the accommodation space passes through the bottom surface, and the notch is disposed between the top surface and the bottom surface. The main body is accommodated in the accommodation space, and includes a receiving seat. The elastic component is sandwiched between the housing and the main body, and includes a fixed portion and an elastic portion. The fixed portion is accommodated within the receiving seat, and the elastic portion is exposed outside the housing through the notch corresponding thereto. When the hosing is placed into the winch keyhole, the winch keyhole is not exposed.
FALL PROTECTION DEVICE TO RETAIN AND PREVENT THE FALL OF A CONNECTING PIN
A fall protection device configured to retain and prevent the fall of a connecting pin used for an end-to-end assembly of two frame elements of a structure, the fall protection device includes a clamping collar having at least one internal groove, configurable between an open position capable of authorizing the insertion of an enlarged head of the connecting pin, and at least one closed position capable of locking the enlarged head inside the internal groove. The device further includes a lock cooperating with the clamping collar to lock the clamping collar in the closed position and a mooring link anchored on the clamping collar to moor the device on a fixed element.
Security Device
A security plug (10) adapted to be inserted into the female socket (18) of a fastener (20) to prevent a tool, such as an Allen key, engaging in the female socket. The plug (10) has an outer surface (22) complementary to the female socket (18) and a retaining member (14) that retains the plug (10) in the female socket (18), and at least one removal portion (26, 70) adapted to be engaged by a second tool (100), whereby engagement of the second tool (100) and the plug (10) allows forces applied by the second tool (100) to the plug (10) to withdraw the plug from the female socket against the action of the retaining member. The second tool and the removal portion (26, 70) may have complementary self-holding tapers and the retaining member (14) may be a magnet or one or more biased members that engage side walls(s) of the female socket.
LOCK MECHANISM FOR A SCAFFOLDING CLAMP
A lock mechanism (10) for a scaffolding clamp or coupler (33) having a threaded rod (15) and a securing nut (14) is disclosed. The mechanism deters unauthorised removal of the securing nut and has a locknut (12) engageable with the threaded rod and having an unconventional drive mechanism (17). The mechanism also has a substantially cylindrical hollow sleeve (13) with a cylindrical interior dimensioned to surround the securing nut and locknut. The locknut has a main body with a tapered nose (21) able to bear against the securing nut and an annular recess (23). The sleeve interior has an inwardly projecting substantially annular flange (26) through which the nose can be forced to locate the flange in the recess and thereby retain the sleeve on the locknut. In addition, the sleeve has an exterior which is smooth and devoid of projections and recesses, and an axial length greater than the combined axial lengths of said securing nut and locknut, to thereby shield both the securing nut and the lock nut. A cup shaped shield (40) and cap (45) for masonry bolts (37) is also disclosed.
High security fastener with external shroud retainer
An improved fastener comprising a fastener body orientated about a central axis and having a tool-engaging portion, a threaded fastening portion and a shroud-receiving portion; a shroud concentrically mounted in the shroud-receiving portion to rotate relative to the fastener body under an applied external torque and having an outwardly extending annular shoulder; the shroud-receiving portion comprising an inwardly deformed stop radially overlapping the outwardly extending annular shoulder of the shroud; and the deformed stop of the shroud-receiving portion and the annular shoulder of the shroud forming a shroud-retaining element restraining the shroud from movement in at least a first axial direction along the central axis.
Wheel fastener alarm
A wheel fastener alarm assembly is provided having a fastener body with a first portion defining a wrenching surface and a cavity, and a second portion with a threaded portion to attach and detach from a wheel of a vehicle. A sensor array is disposed in the cavity of fastener body to detect an attribute of the fastener body and generate an output signal based on the attribute of the fastener body. An antenna connected to the sensor array to transmit the signal to a remote location. A cap is secured to the first portion of the fastener body and covers the wrenching surface and the cavity opening to define a capped fastener body.
TAMPER-PROOF SCREW
A tamper-proof screw includes a main body, a pin body, a ball, and at least one abutting member. A through hole is provided in the main body. The pin body is movably disposed in the through hole. The ball is located in the through hole. The abutting member is located in the through hole and has a connecting end and a free end opposite to each other. The connecting end is disposed on an inner wall of the main body and located between the ball and the free end. The ball is located between the pin body and the abutting member. When the pin body moves in the through hole to push the ball to press against the connecting end of the abutting member, the abutting member pivots around the connecting end to allow the free end to extend outwards from the main body.
WHEEL LOCKING DEVICE
A locking device for locking a wheel of a vehicle is provided, where the device comprising a main module adapted to be attached to a rim of the wheel and configured to cover nuts or bolts that attach the wheel to the vehicle, a tubular center bolt having a threated outer surface and configured to adapt a lock cylinder, the tubular center bolt being further adapted to be connected to the main module via an insert sleeve; and at least one threaded element permanently assembled within a center bore or behind the rim; wherein the tubular center bolt is configured to be threadedly attached to the at least one threaded element to attach the locking device onto the wheel, and wherein the lock cylinder is configured to be arranged in a locking state within the center bolt in which the center bolt is prevented from rotating relative to the main module and the at least one threaded element, and in an open state in which the lock cylinder allows the center bolt to rotate relative to the main module and the at least one threaded element.
SEALED FASTENER CAP AND RELATED METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A fastener cap system can include a rigid cap and a sealing member which forms a liquid barrier so moisture is impaired from entering a space under the rigid cap and/or around a fastener installed through it. The sealing member can include a central seal disposed on an upper surface of the cap, the seal extending beyond a head of a fastener, which extends through the cap and sealing member, so that moisture is impaired from entering the cap under the head. The sealing member can be above and below respective lowermost and uppermost cap surfaces so the cap system can be fed cleanly and efficiently through a cap feeder during installation via a tool. The sealing member, which can have a higher coefficient of friction than the rigid cap, thereby does not drag along a cap feeder and cause feeding issues. Related methods of manufacture and use are provided.
Anti-ligature enclosure for wall-mounted apparatus
