Cleat mount with visual and audible indicator
A mount for mounting an electronic display on a wall includes a latch whereby the display interface portion of the mount can be selectively engaged and disengaged from the wall interface portion. The latch provides a positive visual and/or audible indication of when the mount is fully engaged. The mount may include a wall interface adapted to be secured to a wall or similar structure, and a display interface adapted to be secured to an electronic display. The wall interface generally includes a plurality of pairs of angled slots, each pair of angled slots having a different angle than the other pairs. The slots are adapted to receive fasteners which secure the wall interface to the wall, as well as enable adjustment of the tilt of the bracket so as to ensure the bracket is level.
IMPROVED BOLT APPARATUS
The invention relates to an improved bolt apparatus for installation, the improved bolt apparatus including, a bolt having a head, shaft and an end and the head of the bolt including an improvement means. The bolt also including an engagement means, associated with the shaft, between the head and the end of the bolt, for engaging with or into a surface where the bolt is to be installed. The improved bolt apparatus may be installed into a suitable hole in the surface, and the improvement means enables the type, kind, or characteristic of the bolt to be known and or the bolt installation to be adjusted within the hole. The invention also provides many variants thereon, and methods of use.
MOUNTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF SUPPORTING AN OBJECT
Disclosed are mounting devices that allow consumers to quickly and easily determine whether a given mounting device can be used to hang or otherwise support a desired object. The mounting device includes an indicator that is exposed to alert the consumer if the weight of the object exceeds the maximum weight recommendation of the mounting device. If the indicator remains hidden, the mounting device is considered appropriate for the given object.
SWAGED FASTENERS
A swaged fastener (10) includes a coated collar (12) for location in use on a pin (14). In an unswaged condition, the coated collar (12) comprises a substrate material (16) having a substrate colour and an indicator material (20) having an indicator colour. The indicator material (20) is located on the substrate material (16). The indicator colour is visually different to the substrate colour. The coated collar (12) includes a swaging surface (18) to which, in use, a swaging force is applied to move the collar (12) from the unswaged condition to a swaged condition. The indicator material (20) comprises at least part of the swaging surface (18) and is arranged so that, in a correctly swaged condition, the indicator material (20) comprising the swaging surface (18) is substantially removed to expose the substrate colour and thereby provide a visual indication that the swaging process has been correctly carried out.
Frame structure and server having same
A frame structure includes a first frame, a rail, a handle, a buckle, a second frame, and buffer members. The first frame includes a bottom plate and side plates. The bottom plate and the side plates define an accommodation space. The rail is located on each of the side plates. One end of the handle is movably disposed on the rails. The buckle is located on the first frame and detachably fastened with the handle. The second frame is movably received in the accommodation space. One end of each buffer member is fixed to a bottom surface of the second frame, and another end resists the bottom plate. The handle is coupled to the second frame. When the handle is separated from the buckle, the handle is pushed or pulled to remove the second frame from the accommodation space or press the second frame into the accommodation space.
Door closer adjustment with backout discouragement
An exemplary door closer includes a body, a regulation screw, and an indicator. The body includes a surface and a cavity extending from the surface into the body, and the cavity includes an internal threading. The regulation screw is mounted in the cavity and includes an external threading engaged with the internal threading. The indicator is engaged with the regulation screw and positioned at least partially within the cavity. The indicator is positioned to project beyond the surface when the regulation screw is withdrawn to a reference position relative to the body.
HEATSINK WITH VISUAL INSTALLATION INDICATOR
An apparatus that includes a module for use in installing a heatsink, the module comprising a fastener, a first indicator member comprising a first visual indicator surface, and a second indicator member comprising a second visual indicator surface, the first and second indicator members defining an opening for receiving the fastener. The first visual indicator surface is visible when the fastener is not fully installed and the second visual indicator surface is visible when the fastener is fully installed. A method for installing the heatsink with the module is also disclosed herein.
Counterbore protection dish for mounting without interference
The invention relates to a protection dish (32) for a counterbore formed in an aircraft mechanical part, said protection dish (32) having an axial cross-section about an axis (A) having substantially the shape of a U, and comprising a substantially annular wall (34) of axis (A) and a substantially cylindrical rim (36) of axis (A) connected to an outer periphery of said substantially annular wall (34). The invention is characterised in that said dish (32) is configured to be deformed in response to an axial stress (F) of a determined intensity applied on the substantially annular wall (34) thereof from a first state, wherein the substantially cylindrical rim (36) has a first transverse dimension (E) relative to axis (A), to a second state, wherein the substantially annular wall (34) being deformed, the cylindrical rim (36) has a second transverse dimension (E′) relative to the axis (A) that is greater than the first transverse dimension (E) along a transverse direction (T) determined relative to axis (A).
SELF-SEALING FASTENER AND METHOD OF USE
A self-sealing fastener for reducing leaks between the self-sealing fastener and a substrate. The self-sealing fastener includes a shank that extends longitudinally between a first end and a second end. The shank has an outer surface. The self-sealing fastener also includes a head that extends radially outwardly from the first end of the shank. The head has an underside surface that is adjacent to the first end of the shank and a topside surface opposite the underside surface. A mastic sealant is disposed on at least one of the outer surface of the shank and the underside surface of the head to provide a water-tight seal between the self-sealing fastener and the substrate after the self-sealing fastener is installed in the substrate.
