SINTERED METAL CONNECTING ROD
A sintered metal connecting rod (10) includes as an integrated body, a large end portion (11), a small end portion (12), and a stem portion (13). In the sintered metal connecting rod (10), division marks (14a, 14b) of a molding die by a compression molding are formed between the large end portion (11) and the stem portion (13) and between the small end portion (12) and the stem portion (13) on one of front and back surface (11c to 13c) in which the through-holes (11a, 12a) are formed, respectively. The large end portion (11) and the stem portion (13) have a density difference of 4% or less, and the small end portion (12) and the stem portion (13) have a density difference of 4% or less.
Reciprocating engine
A reciprocating engine includes a crankshaft and a connecting rod rotatably coupled to the crankshaft. The connecting rod defines a fluid passage extending along a length thereof. The reciprocating engine also includes a piston dome coupled to the connecting rod, the piston dome defining an inlet in fluid communication with the fluid passage of the connecting rod for receiving a fluid from the fluid passage of the connecting rod, a cooling passage in fluid communication with the inlet for circulating the fluid through the piston dome, and an exit in fluid communication with the cooling passage.
Offset tie rod joint
An apparatus and a method are provided for an offset tie rod joint for vehicle steering systems. The offset tie rod joint comprises a ball rotatably retained within a casing that is disposed in an opening of an offset housing. A threaded shank fixedly coupled with the offset housing is received by a steering rod. The opening is displaced from a longitudinal axis of the threaded shank by a distance that provides clearance between the offset housing and a spindle assembly during articulation of the spindle assembly during steering. A rear backstop and a front snap-ring in a groove retain the casing within the opening. A bore extending through the ball receives a bolt that fixates the ball between parallel prongs of the spindle assembly. A misalignment spacer on each side of the ball provides clearance for rotation of the ball within the offset housing.

WASTEGATE ACTUATOR MECHANISM OF A WASTEGATE SYSTEM OF A TURBOCHARGER
The invention relates to a wastegate actuator mechanism comprising an elongated link plate and a pin which are rotatable relative to each other. The wastegate actuator mechanism further comprises a sliding assembly including a bushing fixedly connected to the link plate and a sleeve fixedly connected to the pin. Assembly of the wastegate actuator mechanism involves pressing the bushing into the eye of the link plate and allowing material of the link plate to deform and to be received in recessed portions of the bushing in the process and/or arranging the sleeve on the pin and allowing material of the pin to deform and to be received in recessed portions of the sleeve in a process of forming an end section of enlarged diameter on the pin.
WASTEGATE ACTUATOR MECHANISM OF A WASTEGATE SYSTEM OF A TURBOCHARGER
The invention relates to a wastegate actuator mechanism comprising an elongated link plate and a pin which are rotatable relative to each other. The wastegate actuator mechanism further comprises a sliding assembly including a bushing fixedly connected to the link plate and a sleeve fixedly connected to the pin. An Engine with Isochoric Combustion has pistons arranged within cylinders, connecting rods connected to the pistons and to upper joints of triangle links, and a crankshaft with crankpins offset from the centerline of the crankshaft by crank arms. The triangle links are connected to the crankpins at additional joints of the triangle links. Radius links are pivotally connected to the engine by pivot pins at one end and to the triangle links at a further joint of the triangle links at their other end. By way of geometry of the linkages defined by the crank arms, the triangle links, the radius links, and the connecting rods, and by way of the relative positions of the crankshaft, the cylinders, and the pivot pins, during a crank angle segment, the Cylinder Volume during the combustion event is characterized by an extended dwell.

The present invention relates to a detection system for detecting wear of a ball-joint connection device of a pitch rod. The detection system includes at least one measurement assembly, said at least one measurement assembly having at least one deformation gauge for placing on said pitch rod, said detection system comprising at least one electrical conditioning circuit connected to at least one said deformation gauge and to at least one electrical energy source, said electrical conditioning circuit being configured to generate a measurement signal that varies as a function of deformation of said at least one deformation gauge and as a function of said wear.
Modular chassis
A modular chassis is provided for an off-road vehicle to improve assembly, servicing, and repairing of a drivetrain of the off-road vehicle. The modular chassis includes a chassis to support components of the off-road vehicle. A front frame module couples with a front of the chassis, and a rear frame module couples with a rear of the chassis. The front frame module supports lower suspension arms of the off-road vehicle by way of inboard bushing joints. The front frame module supports at least a steering gear and a front differential of the off-road vehicle. The rear frame module is a tube-frame structure that supports components of the off-road vehicle. A lower portion of the rear frame module extends rearward and acutely upward to a top frame member that couples with upper side portions of the chassis. Several cross-members impart structural integrity to the rear frame module.
