Tapered roller bearing
A value of R/R.sub.BASE is not smaller than 0.75 and not greater than 0.87 where R represents a reference radius of curvature of a larger end face of a roller and R.sub.BASE represents a distance from an apex of a cone angle of the roller to a larger flange surface of an inner ring 13. A distance from an outermost surface of at least any one of an outer ring, the inner ring, and a plurality of rollers to a bottom of a nitrogen enriched layer is not shorter than 0.2 mm. A crowning profile is formed on a rolling surface of the roller.
INTERMEDIARY RACE MEMBER OF ROLLING BEARING, RACE, ROLLING BEARING AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
A method for manufacturing a bearing ring of a rolling bearing includes a series of steps of cutting out an annular member from a material, forming a surface-hardened layer on the annular member, quenching and tempering the annular member, and polishing inner and outer diameter surfaces of the annular member. The method includes, after the quenching, rapidly cooling the ring member such that the ring member has a surface temperature of 50 C. or lower to form a bearing ring intermediate member, and after the tempering, polishing inner and outer diameter surfaces of the bearing ring intermediate member.
Needle roller thrust bearing
A needle roller thrust bearing includes an annular cage and a plurality of rollers. The cage includes a plurality of cage pockets that is radially disposed. The plurality of rollers is housed in the cage pockets and disposed between a first raceway surface and a second raceway surface that axially face each other. Lubricating oil flows from a radially inner side to a radially outer side in an annular space in which the cage and the rollers are provided. The cage includes inner grooves and drainage grooves. Each of the inner grooves connects a circumferentially adjacent pair of the cage pockets by connecting radially inner areas of the pair of cage pockets. Each of the drainage grooves has an opening at an outer circumferential surface of the cage to drain lubricating oil in a circumferential area including radially outer areas of the cage pockets.
Secondary park lock actuator
In at least some implementations, a park lock release actuator includes a housing, a drive member and a retainer. The drive member is received at least partially within the housing for rotation about an axis relative to the housing between a first position and a second position. The retainer has a first position in which rotation of the drive member is prevented and a second position in which rotation of the drive member is permitted. At least one of the retainer and the drive member moves relative to the housing in a direction different from the rotation of the drive member so that the path of motion of the retainer between the first position and second position of the retainer is different from the path of motion of the drive member between the first position and second position of the drive member.
NO PIN COMPLIANT JOURNAL BEARING SHAFT FOR ONE PART CARRIER
A journal bearing comprising a central member and at least a first end member separated from the central member by a first undercut having an undercut diameter U1, an outer cylindrical surface of the first end member being axially spaced from an outer cylindrical surface of the central member, wherein the outer cylindrical surface of the first end member has a diameter A, the outer cylindrical surface of the central member has a diameter B, and wherein diameter B is greater than diameter A, and diameter A is greater than diameter U1.
Tapered roller bearing
In a tapered roller bearing, a cage includes a plurality of trapezoidal pockets and the pockets accommodate and hold a plurality of rollers. A notch having a width is provided in a post on a smaller width side of the pocket of the cage from a boundary between a smaller annular portion and a post toward a larger annular portion. Lubricating oil which flows from an inner diameter side of the cage toward an inner ring is quickly discharged through the notch toward an outer ring on an outer diameter side. A distance from an outermost surface of at least any one of the outer ring and the inner ring of the roller and a plurality of rollers to a bottom of a nitrogen enriched layer is equal to or longer than 0.2 mm. A rolling surface of the roller is provided with a logarithmic crowning profile.
Planetary gear box
The invention relates to a planetary gear box, which has a sun gear, a plurality of planet gears, a ring gear, a plurality of plain bearing pins and an axially front carrier plate and an axially rear carrier plate. The plain bearing pin and the planet gear here configure a lubricated plain bearing which includes a plain bearing gap. Furthermore, the plain bearing pin, on the contact face thereof, configures a feed pocket which is provided and configured to receive oil and during the operation deliver oil in the circumferential direction to the plain bearing by way of a delivery edge. It is provided that the feed pocket is configured in the contact face of the plain bearing pin in such a manner that the delivery edge has a profile that deviates from a straight profile parallel to the longitudinal axis of the plain bearing pin.
JOURNAL BEARING ASSEMBLY WITH DUAL OIL CAVITIES
A gas turbine engine comprising a gearbox, the gearbox having gear(s). A journal bearing assembly rotatably supports the gear, the journal bearing assembly having at least a pin, and a journal having a tubular body defining a pin-receiving inner cavity having an inner surface, a first cavity and a second cavity defined in the inner surface of the pin-receiving inner cavity, a rib support located between the first cavity and the second cavity, the rib support being aligned with a longitudinal center of the tubular body, with the first cavity and the second cavity on opposed axial sides of the rib support.
Pump bearing retainer
A pump bearing retainer (1), for a wet-running pump, includes a radially inner section (3) including an inner section surface (9) for a press-fit contact with an essentially cylinder-shaped radial outer surface (29) of a pump bearing (13). A radially outer section (7) includes an annular or essentially conical-shaped outer section surface (17) with a cone angle (.sub.1) equal to or larger than 45. An intermediate section (5) extends from the inner section (3) to the outer section (7). The intermediate section (5) includes an essentially conical-shaped intermediate section surface (15) with a cone angle (.sub.2) smaller than 45. A longitudinal cross-section area (A) of the inner section (3) is smaller than a longitudinal cross-section area (B) of the intermediate section (5).
REDUCTION GEAR
