COUPLING ELEMENT HAVING VIBRATION DAMPING
A coupling for connection of an encoder to an electrical machine includes an encoder shaft end piece for coupling to a shaft of the encoder, and a machine shaft end piece for coupling to a shaft of the electrical machine. At least one of the end pieces has a carrier which is formed with a cavity filled with granular material, preferably steel powder, to effect a dampening of vibrations and impacts.
DRIVE MECHANISM
A drive mechanism having a drive motor that rotatably drives a threaded spindle against a specific braking force generated by a pretensioned spring of a friction brake arrangement. The drive motor and the threaded spindle are arranged coaxially in a housing tube of the drive mechanism, and components of the friction brake arrangement are arranged in a tubular brake housing, which is arranged in an axially and rotationally fixed in the housing tube. A first end of the brake housing has one or more radially inwardly directed first stop shoulders and at a second end of the brake housing has one or more radially inwardly directed second stop shoulders. The brake housing has at its first end a radially circumferential ring with one or more radially resilient spring arms extending axially toward the second end, at the free ends of which spring arms are arranged the second stop shoulders.
BRAKE PAD, DISK BRAKE ASSEMBLY, AND VEHICLE
A method of manufacturing a brake pad including a friction pad and a mounting structure includes providing a cure mold; filling the cure mold with granulated thermoset plastic to form the mounting structure and particulate friction material to form the friction pad; and press curing in a single step the filled cure mold to form the brake pad.
BRAKE PAD FOR DISC BRAKE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided are a brake pad for a disc brake including a resin back plate and a friction material joined to one surface of the resin back plate, in which the resin back plate is formed of a cured product of a first thermosetting resin composition, and a metal reinforcing material is provided on a surface of the resin back plate opposite to the surface joined to the friction material or inside the resin back plate, and a method of manufacturing the brake pad.
DISC BRAKE ROTOR
A disc brake rotor comprises a hub engagement member, a friction member, a first member, and a second member. The hub engagement member is configured to engage with a hub assembly. The friction member is provided radially outwardly of the hub engagement member with respect to a rotational center axis of the disc brake rotor. The friction member has an axial thickness in an axial direction with respect to the rotational center axis. The first member extends between the hub engagement member and the friction member. The first member includes a recess that has an axial depth in the axial direction. The axial depth is larger than the axial thickness of the friction member. The second member is at least partly provided on the recess without using a screw connection.
Sliding spline shaft device
A sliding spline shaft device of the present invention includes a male spline and a female spline that is fitted to the male spline in an axially slidable manner, and at least one of the splines has a surface processed layer. The surface processed layer includes an undercoat layer, an intermediate layer containing phosphate, and a topcoat layer containing solid lubricant, in this order. The undercoat layer contains iron nitride and/or iron carbide. Thus, the surface of a base material has high hardness. As a result, microscopic deformation of the sliding surface is reduced, and increase in a real contact area is suppressed, whereby stick-slip is prevented.
DISK BRAKE DEVICE
The disk brake device includes a brake disk, a brake lining, and a brake caliper. The brake lining includes a friction member and a base plate for supporting the friction member. When a plurality of bolt holes are projected onto a rear face of the base plate in a direction of an axle, a boundary passes through areas of the projected bolt holes. The brake caliper includes an inner pressing surface that applies a load on an inner area and an outer pressing surface that applies a load on an outer area. The load applied on the inner area from the inner pressing surface is different from the load applied on the outer area from the outer pressing surface. In this way, it is possible to suppress stress imposed on bolts while suppressing a local temperature rise in the brake disk.
Hysteresis torque generating mechanism and power transmission device
A hysteresis torque generating mechanism includes a first rotor having a slide surface, and a second rotor opposed to the first rotor. The second rotor is configured to slide against the slide surface of the first rotor so as to generate a hysteresis torque. The second rotor includes an initial contact portion and a main friction surface. The initial contact portion is provided to protrude toward the first rotor. The initial contact portion is configured to slide in contact with the slide surface of the first rotor. The main friction surface is configured to slide in contact with the slide surface of the first rotor after abrasion of the initial contact portion.
DISC BRAKE FOR RAILWAY VEHICLES
A disc brake for railway vehicles comprising a pad and a disc on which the pad acts. The pad comprises a base plate and a plurality of friction elements fixed to the base plate. The friction elements comprise first friction elements made with a first friction material and second friction elements made with a second friction material. The first friction material has a compressibility modulus greater than that of the second friction material by a value greater than or equal to 1 MPa. The first friction elements are in a higher number than the second friction elements. A respective elastic element is interposed between each of the first friction elements and the base plate, whereas a respective rigid spacer is interposed between each of at least part of the second friction elements and the base plate.
BRAKE MODULE FOR A DRIVE SYSTEM, DRIVE SYSTEM AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR A BRAKE MODULE
A brake module for a drive system, in particular for doors, including at least one thrust washer and at least one brake disc, wherein the at least one thrust washer and the at least one brake disc each have at least one friction surface rubbing against each other during braking operation is provided. The embodiments also relate to a drive system, in particular for doors, including such a brake module. The embodiments further relate to a production method for a brake module of the abovementioned type. Known brake modules have a high variation in the braking force on the one hand in the course of their service life and on the other hand as a function of the temperature.
