A drive plate of an electromagnetic-fan clutch comprises: a body of the drive plate provided with magnetic-insulation air holes, connection ribs, and magnetic conductive layers. The magnetic-insulation air holes and the magnetic conductive layers are arranged alternatively along a radial direction of the body of the drive plate. A friction-increasing groove is opened on the magnetic conductive layer. The thickness of the magnetic insulation air holes and the thickness of the connection ribs are less than the thickness of the magnetic conductive layers. Six connection ribs are distributed uniformly between the magnetic conductive layers, and the connection ribs at two sides of the magnetic conductive layer are distributed along the radial direction of the body of the drive plate at an interval of 30 degrees. A drive plate through hole is opened in the body of the drive plate, and accommodation walls are disposed on the magnetic conductive layers.

Producing a cage for a constant-velocity ball joint

A cage for a constant-velocity ball joint is annular and has cage windows arranged spaced apart from one another along a circumferential direction for guiding balls of the constant-velocity ball joint; wherein each cage window has at least on one side a ball guiding surface facing in an axial direction. The cage can be produced by: a) providing a cage having cage windows; b) applying at least one compressive force via an outer circumferential surface of the cage, facing in a radial direction, in a first region of at least one ball guiding surface of at least one cage window; c) deforming the cage in the first region of the at least one ball guiding surface, so that the at least one ball guiding surface is displaced inwardly in the radial direction with respect to an adjacent second region of the cage.

Brake disc and manufacturing method therefor

In order to achieve lightness and improve hardness of a brake disk, and minimize weight and improve productivity through an improvement of a coupling structure of a disk plate and a hub, provided is a method of manufacturing a brake disk including a disk plate, which provides a friction surface and is formed with a hole at a center, and a hub, which is coupled to the hole formed at the center of the disk plate, the method including: preparing a disk plate; preparing a hub in the form of a flat plate; positioning the hub in the form of the flat plate on one surface of the disk plate; and bonding the disk plate and the hub by an interference fit.

Friction material and method for manufacturing same

Using a friction material composition comprising: a fiber; a friction adjusting material; a binding material; and an uncrosslinked rubber being solid at normal temperature (25° C.), a friction material is obtained, wherein an ambient compressibility in a piston-pressing direction is 2% or less at normal temperature (25° C.) and at 4 MPa, and a tan δ value in a sliding direction at −20° C. to 50° C. is 0.05 or larger. Thereby, a friction material which has high damping properties and acceptable brake noise, which can prevent a decrease in responsiveness when brakes are applied, and prevent a decrease in the feeling of effectiveness associated therewith, and which can suppress a decrease in the fuel efficiency and an increase in abrasion caused by the dragging occurring when the friction material is brought into contact with a brake rotor; and a method for producing the friction material, can be provided.
