CONNECTOR
A connector for connecting first and second parts of an apparatus, comprising a first plate; a first anchor point on one side of the first plate, configured to be connected to the first part; a second plate located on an opposite side of the first plate from the first anchor point; a second anchor point on an opposite side of the second plate from the first plate, configured to be connected to the second part; a low friction interface provided between opposing surfaces of the first and second plates; and a cuff of deformable material provided around the first and second plates, and configured to at least partially cover the side of the first plate on which the first anchor point is located and to at least partially cover the side of the second plate on which the second anchor point is located.
Laundry processing apparatus
A laundry processing apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a cabinet; a tub, arranged in the interior of the cabinet, for storing laundry water; longitudinal dampers connecting the cabinet and tub and supporting the tub as same hangs from the cabinet; upper transverse dampers, connecting the upper part of the tub and cabinet, for reducing the horizontal vibration for the tub; and lower transverse dampers, connecting the lower part of the tub and cabinet, for reducing the horizontal vibration for the tub. The laundry processing apparatus according to the present invention allows the transverse dampers coupled structures, and when vibration occurs, the transverse dampers dampen the horizontal vibration and mitigates the vertical vibration through relative motion.

FRICTIONAL DAMPER
A frictional damper includes a housing having a longitudinal axis, a tappet which is movable along the longitudinal axis, a frictional unit for generating a direction-dependent frictional force on the tappet, wherein the frictional unit includes at least one friction lining lying rubbingly against the tappet, and a switching unit for variably setting the frictional force.
Adjustment device for a flap assembly and motor vehicle with an adjustment device of this type
An adjustment device for a flap assembly includes a housing having a longitudinal axis, two mounting spots spaced from one another along the longitudinal axis, an energy storage unit acting along the longitudinal axis and a friction damping unit acting serially in relation to the energy storage unit.
Internally Damped Crossbar Assembly Having a Slip Plate Damper
A crossbar system for facilitating isolation of a sensor assembly from external vibrations of a support structure. The crossbar system comprises first and second crossbar assemblies and a payload mount, Each of the first and second crossbar assemblies comprises a crossbar segment and a slip plate damper. Each crossbar segment comprises a payload mount interface at a first end of the crossbar assembly and a first support structure interface at a second end of the crossbar assembly. Each slip plate damper is disposed about the crossbar segment and is slidably coupled to the crossbar segment to constrain movement in two lateral degrees of freedom and to facilitate movement in a longitudinal degree of freedom, Each slip plate damper comprises a second support structure interface at the second end of the crossbar assembly. The payload mount is coupled to the payload mount interfaces of the first and second crossbar assemblies.
VIBRATION DAMPENER FOR ARCHERY BOW
A vibration dampener for an archery bow includes an adjustable housing containing a chamber in which an elastomeric assembly is arranged. The assembly includes a cylindrical sleeve in which a central elastomeric member is arranged and a pair of elastomeric members coaxial with the central member at opposite ends of the chamber. The elastomeric members are pressurized to absorb vibrations in three dimensions from the bow during execution of an archery shot. The pressure applied to the elastomeric members is adjustable through use of a compression assembly.
DAMPER DEVICE
There is provided a damper device including an annular elastic member made of an elastic resin material. One member of a pair of members is provided with a support section for supporting the annular elastic member. The other member of the pair of members is provided with a pair of facing walls between which the support section is to be inserted. The annular elastic member is provided with separated portions that are separated from the outer periphery of the support section. In a state where the annular elastic member is mounted on the outer periphery of the support section, a maximum distance A of the separated portions facing each other is greater than an opening width B between tip ends of the pair of facing walls on a side on which the support section enters.
Vibration damper and/or absorber
A linear vibration damper and/or absorber includes a centre shaft (12) having bearing regions (18) and friction contact regions (20), and a housing (2) including finger assemblies (22) which are mounted with a small radial clearance for accurate location on the bearing regions (18) for axial displacement with respect to the centre shaft (12) along a central axis (X), the finger assemblies (22) each including resilient fingers (38) which extend axially from respective body sections (26) and have contact faces (40) which resiliently engage, i.e. are pressed by the resilience of the fingers (40) into contact with, friction surfaces (20) of the contact regions of the centre shaft (12), whereby relative linear displacement between the centre shaft (12) and the housing (2) is opposed by frictional contact between the friction surfaces (20) and the contact faces (40).
