A rotating machine system can include a rotating machine. The rotating machine system can include a housing. The housing can include an inner surface. The housing can surround at least a portion of the rotating machine. The inner surface of the housing can be spaced from the rotating machine such that a space is defined therebetween. The rotating machine system can include one or more super elastic wires. The one or more super elastic wires can be positioned in the space and can be operatively connected to the rotating machine and the inner surface of the housing. The one or more super elastic wires can reduce vibration within the rotating machine system.

A method includes, providing a tubular member (10) used for a hollow spring, and applying the compressive residual stress to at least a portion of an inner surface of the steel tube by applying the compressive force to at least a portion of an outer surface of the tubular member (10) from a circumferential direction, and a fatigue life of the tubular member (10) is prolonged by applying the compressive residual stress to the inner surface of the tubular member (10). Applying the force to the outer surface of the tubular member (10) includes pressing the tubular member (10) with a die (1). The die (1) has a pressing surface (1a) shaped such that the compressive force can be applied to at least the portion of the outer surface of the tubular member (10) from the circumferential direction.

Pedal force simulator device

A pedal force simulator device includes: a pressure piston actuatable by a brake pedal and axially moveably mounted in a housing; and at least two disk spring stacks connected in series, each disk spring stack having at least two disk springs, at least two of the disk spring stacks having different spring constants, and the disk spring stacks being situated in the housing between an end face of the pressure piston and an axial stop of the housing. At least one of the disk spring stacks includes an axial receiving recess, in which a spring element, which can be elastically deformed by the pressure piston, is situated, one end of the spring element being supported on the pressure piston and the other end being supported on one of the disk spring stacks.

Centrifugal pendulum device having a pre-stressing element for guiding the cylindrical rollers

A centrifugal pendulum device for use in a drive train of a vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine includes at least one support flange rotatable about an axis of rotation to which pendulum masses are mounted thereon in a circumferential direction via a bifilar pendulum suspension. The pendulum masses are configured to perform a relative movement with respect to the support flange when a rotational irregularity occurs in the drivetrain under effects of centrifugal force in conjunction with cylindrical rollers which are guided in roller tracks of the support flange. The pendulum masses run in opposite directions to one another and thereby absorb vibrations. The support flange includes roller tracks which are open in a direction of the axis of rotation and all the cylindrical rollers are acted upon by force by a prestressing element radially in the direction of the roller tracks.

Suspension assembly

A suspension assembly provides a suspension frame and a supporting frame, the suspension frame being movably coupled to the supporting frame. The suspension assembly further provides at least one flexure that links the suspension frame to the supporting frame. The suspension assembly including at least one stopper to limit movement of the supporting frame and the suspension frame with respect to each other.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SELECTIVE SPRING PRE-LOAD ADJUSTMENT

A method and apparatus for a suspension comprising a spring having a threaded member at a first end for providing axial movement to the spring as the spring is rotated and the threaded member moves relative to a second component. In one embodiment, the system includes a damper for metering fluid through a piston and a rotatable spring member coaxially disposed around the damper and rotatable relative to the damper.
