Vibration damper and connection element for connecting a shock absorber tube to an add-on unit for vehicles

A vibration damper for a chassis of a vehicle including a damper tube which is filled at least partially with damping liquid and in which a piston rod can be moved to and fro. A working piston is movable with the piston rod, by way of which working piston the interior space of the damper tube is divided into a piston rod-side working space and a working space which is remote from the piston rod. At least one additional attachment unit is connected to the damper tube in a fluid-tight manner by way of a throughflow element. The throughflow element is arranged on the damper tube in a direction which differs from the radial direction of the damper tube.

Balancer device for internal combustion engine

A balancer device includes a housing fixed to an internal combustion engine, a roller bearing disposed in the housing, a balancer shaft rotatably supported in the housing by the roller bearing, a balancer weight integrally mounted on the balancer shaft and rotatably accommodated in an weight accommodation room of the housing, an introduction part that introduces a lubricating oil from the outside to the inside of the weight accommodation room, and a discharge part that provides communication between the inside and the outside of the weight accommodation room and discharges the lubricating oil from the inside of the weight accommodation room, wherein herein the roller bearing is arranged to face the weight accommodation room.

A vibration absorber for securely fixing to the housing of a gearbox includes an absorber mass having a first group of segments that are rotationally symmetrical to one another with respect to a rotational axis and/or central axis of the gearbox. The segments can be rigidly connected to one another. The vibration absorber can further include connectors that are rigidly connected to two segments each.

SWITCHABLE ANTI-VIBRATION HYDRAULIC MOUNT AND SEPARATION ELEMENT

A partition member of an anti-vibration hydraulic mount includes a first channel and a second channel between the working chamber and the compensating chamber. The partition member includes a membrane secured in a receiving cavity. The membrane divides the receiving cavity into two sub-spaces separated fluidically from each other. The membrane comprises a closing device configured to have an open configuration, in which the closing device is spaced apart from the central opening, and a closed configuration, in which the closing device abuts against the central opening to close the central passageway.

STACKABLE, CONFIGURABLE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR SHOCK ABSORBERS

Technologies are generally described for stackable, configurable monitoring systems for shock absorbers or dampers. An example monitoring system may include one or more sensor boards, a processor board, a power supply board, and a communications board stacked together and fitted into a body of a shock absorber (or damper). Each sensor board may condition sensor outputs from one or more sensors. The processor board may process the conditioned sensor outputs and provide data to external computing devices. In some examples, the power supply board may recharge an on-board battery. The stacking order of the boards may be configurable. In other examples, a displacement sensor board may be disposed on the body and measure displacement using a laser module.

A modular mounting structure includes a mount module unit including a mount housing, a mount core with a bolt hole, and a mount insulator connecting the mount housing and the mount core, a first module unit including a first housing, a first core with a bolt hole, and a first insulator connecting the first housing and the first core and having a first direction characteristic, and a second module unit including a second housing, a second core with a bolt hole, and a second insulator connecting the second housing and the second core and having a second direction characteristic.

UNIVERSAL MODULARIZED COIL SPRING BUFFER FOR VEHICLE
20230241936 · 2023-08-03 ·

A modular suspension buffer for a vehicle having customizable hardness and height to provide various combinations of initial contact softness and non-linearly increasing resistance during compression so as to improve driving stability, loading capacity, off road performance, and/or ride comfort while extending the operational lifespan of the vehicle suspension system. Specifically, a universal modular coil spring buffer having a plurality of modules arranged in different configurations adaptable to be inserted in the gap of a coil spring of a vehicle to prevent shocks. The different configurations of a primary module and a plurality of secondary modules can be employed for different vehicles with different coil spring dimensions and based on the distance between the adjacent coils. The buffer lessens the compression to the coil spring thereby minimizing oil leaks caused from the shocks.

Lead-lag damper

Technologies are generally described for lead-lag dampers. An example lead-lag may include a single- or two-stage floating annular ring, elastomer bearings, a tension stop, a compression stop, and a plunger/spring volume compensator. The floating annular ring(s) form orifice(s) in conjunction with the remaining damper components may provide stable performance by tracking with any center shaft misalignment during operation. The lead-lag damper may also include a secondary spring system allowing or disallowing fluid flow between chambers based on slow or sudden movement of the shaft.
