The body has a first surface and a second surface opposite and spaced from the first surface along an axis. The body defines a passage extending from the first surface to the second surface. The damper assembly includes an orifice disc movable from an unflexed position to a first flexed position and movable from the first flexed position to a second flexed position. The orifice disc in the unflexed position is spaced from the first surface radially outward and radially inward of the passage. The orifice disc in the first flexed position is spaced from the first surface radially outward of the passage and abuts the first surface radially inward of the passage. The orifice disc in the second flexed position abuts the first surface radially outward and radially inward of the passage.
DAMPER WITH A SLANTED ELLIPTICAL SEAL BETWEEN AN INTERMEDIATE TUBE AND AN INNER PRESSURE TUBE
A damper including inner and outer tubes is provided. A piston is slidably disposed within the inner tube. An intermediate tube is positioned radially between the inner and outer tubes. The intermediate tube extends between first and second intermediate tube ends. An intermediate channel is disposed radially between the intermediate and inner tubes. A slanted elliptical seal is positioned inside the intermediate channel and divides the intermediate channel into first and second intermediate channel portions. A first control valve is in fluid communication with the second intermediate channel portion via a first intermediate tube opening. A second control valve is in fluid communication with the first intermediate channel portion via a second intermediate tube opening. The slanted elliptical seal abuts the intermediate tube between the first intermediate tube opening and the first intermediate tube end and between the second intermediate tube opening and the second intermediate tube end.
Hydraulic shock absorber
A hydraulic shock absorber including a housing and an absorber unit. The absorber unit is movable relative to the housing in the axis direction of an absorber unit middle axis A-A and includes a piston which is arranged on a piston rod and which subdivides the housing into a first and a second working space which is filled with damping fluid.
CUSHIONING MEMBER AND DETACHABLE DEVICE
A cushioning member includes a support portion, a first latch portion, a second latch portion, a first connection portion, a second connection portion, a first guide portion and a second guide portion. The first guide portion, the first latch portion, and the first connection portion are arranged opposite to the second connection portion, the second latch portion and the second guide portion on basis of the support portion as a center. When the first and second latch portions are in a relaxed state, a width of the support portion in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction is greater than a width of the first latch portion and a width of the second latch portion in the direction.
SHOCK ABSORBER
Disclosed is a shock absorber including: a cylinder which is filled with a working fluid; a piston which is slidably provided in the cylinder and divides an inside of the cylinder into two chambers; a piston rod which is connected to the piston and extends outside the cylinder; a first passage and a second passage through which the working fluid flows due to movement of the piston; a first damping force generating mechanism which is provided in the first passage and generates a damping force; and a second damping force generating mechanism which is provided in the second passage and generates a damping force. The second damping force generating mechanism includes a sub valve provided on one side of the second passage, and a volume variable mechanism that changes a volume of a volume chamber provided in parallel with the second passage.
Shock absorber
A shock absorber includes a bearing unit having a bearing and a bearing holding member, and a seal unit having a seal member and a seal holding member. The seal holding member includes a seal accommodating portion being configured to accommodate the seal member, and an insertion hole through which a piston rod is inserted. The seal member is pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the piston rod and the seal accommodating portion by working-fluid pressure in the extension-side chamber. And the bearing is provided such that a first end surface of the bearing facing the seal member matches an aperture plane of a through hole of the bearing holding member or such that the first end surface of the bearing projects out from the aperture plane of the through hole.
VIBRATION DAMPER
A vibration damper for damping vibrations of a motor vehicle component is disclosed. The vibration damper is passed through by a transverse center plane, and the vibration damper includes a retention apparatus that can be fixed to a motor vehicle component. In embodiments, the vibration damper has at least two receptors that each have an inner side facing the transverse center plane and an outer side facing away from the transverse center plane, has a damper mass with a central longitudinal axis, and has at least two elastomer springs. In embodiments, the elastomer springs couple the damper mass to the receptors with an ability to vibrate, and at least one of the elastomer springs has a connection portion, between the damper mass and respective receptor, that extends at least mainly externally with respect to the respective receptor.
Seal member and shock absorber
A seal member includes a base portion held by a cylinder, the base portion being configured such that a rod is inserted through the base portion, and a lip portion provided on the base portion, the lip portion being brought into sliding contact with an outer circumference of the rod, wherein the lip portion is formed of an elastic body containing fibers oriented in the axial direction of the rod.
VIBRATION-DAMPING DEVICE
A vibration-damping device includes a partition member provided with an orifice passage that allows a main liquid chamber and an auxiliary liquid chamber to communicate with each other, a plurality of first communication holes that allows the main liquid chamber and an accommodation chamber to communicate with each other, and a second communication hole that allows the auxiliary liquid chamber and the accommodation chamber to communicate with each other. A tubular member that protrudes in an axial direction toward the elastic body is disposed on a first wall surface of the partition member to which the first communication holes are open and which constitutes a portion of an inner surface of the main liquid chamber, in which the plurality of first communication holes are open to both an inner portion located inside the tubular member and an outer portion located outside the tubular member, on the first wall surface.
