Multilayer Face-Covering
A multilayered face-covering is provided with at least two layers and joined with a centrally located merge stitch or nose seam. The outer is a thicker knitted cloth material with a higher thread-weight and/or thread-count than the inner layer to create an increased stiffness on the outer layer that resists compressive buckling. The inner layer is lightweight and provides a comfortable cushion against the user's skin. Face-covering can also include a intermediate layer sandwiched between inner and outer layers. The intermediate layer provides additional filtering of inhaled and/or exhaled particles and enhances the outer layer's rigidity.
RAPID DONNING FACE MASK
A rapid donning face mask is disclosed. The rapid donning face mask is desirable for emerging situations in which the user is unable to maintain proper social distancing. When needed the user deploys a filter element that is coupled to the fingers of a user's hand via rings. As the user splays their fingers, the filter element deploys, allowing the user to cover their mouth and nasal openings with the filter element.
Face mask
Face mask devices, systems, and methods of use include a frame that holds a suitable filter material, including a face mask, over the user's face to form a seal and prevent unfiltered air from being inhaled through the nose or mouth of the user without first passing through the filter material. The frame is removably attached over the users face by, for example, adjustable straps. The frame may be adjustable in size to be suitable for use on user's having different facial sizes, shapes, and/or geometries.
COMPACT ORONASAL PATIENT INTERFACE
A breathing arrangement includes a patient interface, at least one inlet conduit, and a headgear assembly. The patient interface includes a mouth covering assembly including a cushion structured to sealingly engage around exterior of a patient's mouth in use, a nozzle assembly including a pair of nozzles structured to sealingly engage within nasal passages of a patient's nose in use, and a flexible element connecting the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly. The at least one inlet conduit is structured to deliver breathable gas into at least one of the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly for breathing by the patient. The headgear assembly is removably connected to at least one of the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly so as to maintain the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly in a desired position on the patient's face.
PERSONAL RESPIRATORY PROTECTION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a personal respiratory protection device, in particular, such a device comprising a respirator body having a periphery, a filter media, forming at least part of the respirator body, and a gasket, the gasket being located at the periphery and extending along at least a portion of its length.
FACE PROTECTION MASK
Face protection mask comprising a flexible filtering screen shaped to cover the mouth and nose of the user. The mask incorporates an adhesive element projecting from the upper edge of the filtering screen and forming a flexible appendage configured to cover—in use—a substantial portion of the nose of the user, adhering thereto.
SEALABLE FACE MASK
A face mask and method of use are disclosed. A base of the face mask is placed around a lower region of the person's nose. A horizontal wall of the base is positioned under the person's nose and first and second bosses extending upwardly from the wall are positioned in the user's nostrils. Holes in the bosses allow the user to breathe through their nose. A filter assembly extends downwardly from the base and fits over the person's mouth and under their chin. An elastic frame on the filter assembly is press-sealed to the user's skin on either side of their mouth and under their chin. The horizontal wall prevents airflow between the environment and a space in front of the user's mouth. Exhaled and inhaled air is forced to pass through the filter assembly's filter, trapping infectious respiratory moisture droplets in the filter.
STRAPLESS FACE MASK
A facial mask comprising a flexible body of woven material comprising an inner surface and an opposed outer surface; an adhesive on the inner surface; and a backing material releasably attached to the inner surface, the backing material having a first portion and at least one second portion, wherein the at least one second portion is removable to expose the adhesive for engagement on a user's face.
Respiratory protection system
The invention relates to a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) system with a transparent multi-use face shield, a foam frame attached to the interior face of the face shield, a flexible hose secured within a hole bore through the foam frame, a portable air filtering enclosure and a pump contained therein that introduces filtered air into the system through the flexible hose, and a non-woven HEPA cloth carry bag that also functions as an air filter. The face shield features a fastener system that includes flexible straps made from a transparent, flexible, non-stick, and self-adhesive releasable tape. The invention provides the user eye protection and respiratory protection from direct fluid spray, flying debris, unclean air, unhealthy airborne contaminants, including SARS-CoV-2 and other harmful viruses or pathogens.
TIGHT FITTING RESPIRATOR WITH EXHALATION FILTER AND EXHALATION FILTER FOR TIGHT FITTING RESPIRATOR
A powered air purifying respirator includes an inlet air filter; a flow generator configured to cause air from an ambient environment to flow through the inlet air filter and elevate pressure of the air to above ambient conditions; a mask in fluid communication with the flow generator and configured to fit tightly against a user's face or neck for delivery of the air to the user at the elevated pressure; and a one-way outlet valve configured to allow air exhaled by the user to be vented to the ambient environment. An outlet filter may be included to filter the air flowing through the one-way valve, and the outlet filter may be retrofit. The outlet filter may be preferred when filtration of both inlet and outlet air is desirable.
