RESPIRATOR MASK
The invention provides a respirator mask comprising a filter material piece made of an air-permeable material and at least one securing band, wherein the air-permeable material comprises at least one layer of a non-woven fabric and the layer of a non-woven fabric is creped, and wherein the at least one securing band is designed for securing the respirator mask to the head.
AIR PERMEABLE FILTER MATERIAL COMPRISING A POLYMER AEROGEL
An air-permeable filter material that includes a polymeric aerogel having a polymeric matrix comprising an open-cell structure is disclosed. The air-permeable filter material can be included in a mask, which can be configured to be placed over a user's mouth and/or nose. The mask can include at least one layer of the air-permeable filter material and is positioned such that inhaled and/or exhaled air of the user passes through the filter material.
MAGNETIC FASTENING ARRANGEMENTS FOR SECURING PATIENT INTERFACE DEVICES
A coupling arrangement for use in securing a patient interface to the head of a patient. The fastening arrangement includes a first component having a source of a magnetic field and a second component having a mating component attracted to the source by the magnetic field. One or both of the source and/or a portion of the first component is moveable among: a shielded positioning wherein the source is shielded such that the maximum strength of the magnetic field outside of the first component is less than a predetermined value, and an unshielded positioning wherein the source is unshielded such that the maximum strength of the magnetic field outside of the first component is greater than or equal to the predetermined value.
BREATHING APPARATUS
A breathing apparatus including a face mask adapted to substantially cover a face of a user and a neck component attached to the face mask and surrounding the user's neck. The face mask has a peripheral region which forms a pneumatic seal against the face and an air inlet arranged proximal to the peripheral region. The neck component houses a flow generator configured to receive unfiltered air from outside of the breathing apparatus, filter the unfiltered air, and convey the filtered air to the face mask through the air inlet.
Anti-contagion mask
The disclosed anti-contagion facemask embodiments are a family of transparent facemasks that do not obstruct visibility of a person's mouth when worn. One problem with a typical, widely used, facemask is the difficulty in understanding a person speaking when they are wearing the typical facemask. Not only does the listener have to contend with the muffled speech of a person talking through a facemask, communication is made worse by covering up, or otherwise hiding the wearer's mouth and face with opaque filter material. Accordingly, some embodiments described herein present a clear/see-through filtration mask embodiment that does not visibly obstruct a person's mouth by providing a filtration system along or near the periphery of the facemask.
WEARABLE AIR PURIFIER
A wearable air purifier includes a headgear, an air purifier assembly, and a nozzle assembly. The air purifier assembly includes a filter and an airflow generator for generating an airflow through the filter. The nozzle assembly includes an inlet aperture configured to receive a filtered airflow from the air purifier assembly, and an air outlet for emitting the filtered airflow from the nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a first end section connected to the headgear, a second end section connected to the headgear, and a midsection connected to the first end section by a first hinge and connected to the second end section by a second hinge.
PROTECTION FACE MASK UNIT WITH AN ADDITIONAL FILTER FOR THE EXHALED AIR
A face mask unit for protection against contaminants, for example in particles, comprises a face mask with a body having lateral inhalation filters inserted in seats of this body, the body cooperating with hooking means for fastening to a support element for supporting the mask on the face, and an exhalation valve for the exhaled air. An additional filtering member is provided, which is adapted to be arranged on the mask and bearing at least one filtering element, said additional filtering member being fixed to the mask and being arranged a short distance from it so as to create a space between the body of the mask and the filtering element, this space allowing air to flow in to the lateral inhalation filters unimpeded and also creating a void for the exhaled air from the exhalation valve to flow into before passing through said filtering element.
Nose Mask
The nose mask is intended to be used during Airborne Pandemic. The Nose Mask is a single Triangle/Cone shaped that covers only the nose, that comes with two ear elastic bands or a single head elastic band for support. The Nose Mask is designed to be disposable with filter for better protection and minimize the passage of aerosols, fluids and airborne pathogens agents or to be made with washable material allowing users to re-use it.
RESPIRATOR MASK WITH INTEGATED ULTRAVIOLET LIGHTING SYSTEM
A respirator mask, having an air intake chamber for taking air into the mask from the outside, an ultraviolet lighting system within the interior of the mask, and a control system for controlling the operation of the lighting system. The lighting system mitigates the health hazards caused by bacteria, germs and viruses within the air within the air intake chamber.
Personal air filter
A personal air filter device with an air filter assembly retained in the air filter holding member is disclosed. An ear support member is attached to the air filter holding member and can be hung over the ear of the user to support the air filter holding member. Alternatively, a clip member attached to the air filter holding member can be utilized to attach the device to the user's clothing or accessories. An air tube assembly extends from the air filter holding member to the mouthpiece for the purpose of breathing filtered air flowing through the air filter assembly. An air intake check valve situated near the end of the air tube attached to a mouthpiece retaining member and an air outflow check valve situated near the outer surface of the mouthpiece retaining member to ensure exhaled air is directed out of the device and is not reinhaled.
