STATIC ELECTRICITY RECHARGING DEVICE FOR A USED MASK
A mask has to possess sufficient electrostatic charges in order to maintain a filtering effect of the mask using static electricity. However, an electrostatic property naturally decreases as an amount of the electrostatic charges decreases when contacting a human body or exposed to the air. Resultantly, as an initial electrostatic filtering effect gradually decreases, an initially intended function of the mask is not implemented.
The present invention relates to a static electricity recharging device for a mask, which allows the mask to be reused by recharging reduced or removed electrostatic charges in the mask.
BIDIRECTIONAL REUSABLE FILTERING FACE MASK
A bidirectional reusable filtering face mask is described that includes an anatomical base provided with means to promote adherence to the face and pass-through elements for closure by means of ties; a first filtering chamber used to prevent respiratory droplets from spreading and obtained by fixing a removable disposable filter on the outer side of the anatomical base; a second filtering chamber comprising a removable dome with a recess in its apical part adapted to accommodate a main removable disposable filter, where the filter is secured to the recess by means of a protective grid; and means for assembling the components of the second filtering chamber with the first filtering chamber.
METHOD FOR RECYCLING FILTERING FACEPIECE RESPIRATORS
The invention relates to a method for recycling respiratory protection masks comprising a plurality of layers manufactured from a single thermoplastic polymer chosen from polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polylactic acid, homopolymers and copolymers of polyamide 6 (PA6) and long-chain polyamides such as PA11 or PA12, and comprising a filtration layer made of polyvinylidene fluoride.
MASK APPARATUS
A mask apparatus includes a mask body that defines a suction hole and a discharge hole, a face guard detachably coupled to the mask body by magnetic force and configured to contact a face of a user, and an air cleaning module configured to filter external air and to supply the filtered air to a breathing space. The face guard includes a coupling portion facing a rear surface of the mask body. The coupling portion includes a magnetic body and a magnetic body mounting portion that receives the magnetic body. The magnetic body mounting portion includes a mounting portion body that protrudes forward from an outer surface of the coupling portion and an insertion guide rib disposed inside the mounting portion body, where the mounting portion body and the insertion guide rib are spaced apart from each other to thereby define an insertion hole that receives the magnetic body.
Protective shield for odontological procedures
The containment of aerosols produced in dental processes and treatments is of notorious relevance since they represent a high risk of transmission of infectious diseases, such as viral flu or COVID-19. Medical personnel in the dental area, or others, are exposed to a high risk of infection by constant exposure to these aerosols and splashes. Consequently, it is providing a protective shield for odontological procedures that functions as a physical barrier avoiding contact of dentists, orthodontists and/or their technicians/assistants with aerosols and splashes that occur during dental treatments and procedures.
ANTI-FOG MASK
An illustrated view of an exemplary improved mask for preventing eye-glasses from fogging up is presented. The mask is useful for preventing air to flow from the mask onto the eyeglasses of the wearer of the mask. Also, the mask is useful preventing the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID. The mask provides for limited touching of the mask. The mask further is light-weight, comfortable and cost efficient.

A modular mask including a first module including a frame having two or more openings, and an attaching mechanism lining one or more edges of the two or more openings; and a second module including: a mask body having a first attaching element allowing the attaching mechanism to temporarily hold the mask body in place completely covering a first opening of the two or more openings, and a filter component having a second attaching element allowing the attaching mechanism to temporarily hold the filter component in place completely covering a second opening of the two or more openings.
LINER AND RETAINING MEMBER FOR USE WITH RESPIRATORY MASK
A respiratory mask includes a mask body having a face-engaging portion, and at least one retaining member connected to the mask body and including at least one engaging member for receiving and tethering a liner to the respiratory mask to generally overlie the face-engaging portion. The retaining member may include a flexible elongated body having a central portion and opposing ends, and a bottom surface arranged to be attached to the respiratory mask. The liner may include a liner body constructed from an absorbent material and having an outer edge, an inner edge, and an opening bounded by the inner edge, wherein an extending portion of the liner body is defined which extends outwardly beyond the face-engaging portion and includes at least one aperture for engaging the retaining member. A kit for use with a respiratory mask includes at least one liner and at least one retaining member.
SELF-CHARGING MULTI-LAYER TRIBOELECTRIC PPE
A triboelectric personal protective equipment (PPE) includes a first layer of a first triboelectric material; a second layer of a second triboelectric material; a circuit configured to store and transfer triboelectric charge generated from the first layer and the second layer; a third layer and a fourth layer connected to and powered by the circuit. The first triboelectric material and a second triboelectric material have a difference in triboelectric charge density (TECD) of at least 35 μC/m.sup.2. The third layer and the fourth layer provide an electric field that is configured to electrify particles having a size of 10 nm to 10 μm between the third layer and the fourth layer.
Elbow Sleeve
This invention relates to filters, filter assemblies, face masks, and face mask assemblies, and methods of making same. In various aspects, the disclosed filters, filter assemblies, face masks, and face mask assemblies can be useful in, for example, preventing the transmission of air contaminants to or from a wearer. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.
