RAPID-TESTING MASK
20230100793 · 2023-03-30 ·

A rapid-testing mask is worn by a user, and includes a covering portion, a strap portion and a rapid-testing portion. The covering portion is provided to cover the mouth and the nose of the user. The covering portion includes an inner layer close to the user and an outer layer opposite to the user. The strap portion is connected to the covering portion and is worn on the user. The rapid-testing portion is arranged on the inner layer of the covering portion, and receives a gas exhaled from the mouth or the nose of the user to generate an indication signal according to the gas. The indication signal is a rapid-testing result of whether the user is suffering from diseases of pneumonia, influenza and COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019), to monitor health status of the user in real time.

Pacifying Personal Protective Device
20230100266 · 2023-03-30 ·

A pacifying personal protective device for a child includes a panel, which is attachable to a head of a child so that the panel is positioned over at least a mouth and a nose of the child. The panel reduces transmission of pathogens between the child and persons proximate to the child. A pacifying element is engaged to the panel and is positioned proximate to the mouth of the child. The pacifying element facilitates pacification of the child, thus increasing a likelihood that the panel will remain in position on the head of the child.

SUPER WATER-REPELLENT MASK HAVING NANO PATTERNED STRUCTURE ON ITS SURFACE

The present disclosure relates to an anti-droplet mask filter and an anti-droplet mask comprising the same, and more particularly, to a hydrophobic filter having ridges and an anti-droplet mask comprising the same. The present disclosure is directed to providing a mask filter with improved water repellency performance for effectively preventing the spread of acute respiratory syndrome virus infections.

The super water-repellent anti-droplet nonwoven filter of the present disclosure shows superhydrophobicity with the surface contact angle of 160° or more due to the ridges that form a nanopatterned structure on the surface of hydrophobic fibers and the surface of bonding portions, thereby preventing the adsorption of droplets onto the surface of the filter. Additionally, the super water-repellent anti-droplet nonwoven filter of the present disclosure can capture ultrafine particles such as aerosols due to the nanopatterned structure on the surface of the super water-repellent anti-droplet nonwoven filter.

FACE MASK

A face mask including shape memory materials to improve fit to the face and/or create a cavity in front of the mouth to facilitate breathing.

APPARATUS WITH MULTIPURPOSE PRESSURE SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF LEAK IDENTIFICATION
20230039345 · 2023-02-09 ·

An apparatus with multipurpose pressure sensitive materials, includes an outer part and a pressure sensitive material. The sensitive material is configured to change colors according to contact state between the outer part with an object and/or according to the outer part itself.

FACE MASK STRAP RETENTION METHOD AND SYSTEM
20230033840 · 2023-02-02 ·

A system and method for implementation of an improved weld pattern for the retention of straps to a face mask, configured to maintain maximum strength of the strap(s) without the use of glue or complete encapsulation via fabric welds. Proximal welds are positioned above and below ends of the straps without contacting the strap itself. The proximal welds are horizontal welds along the primary axis of the straps. The proximal welds are configured to reinforce primary vertical welds disposed along the very ends of the straps. A strip of weldable material is disposed atop the ends of the straps to facilitate the implementation of the horizontal and vertical welds.

RESPIRATOR CARRIER

The invention relates to a respirator carrier frame 1 comprising a central frame portion 2, two wing portions 3 extending on opposing sides from the central frame portion 2, as well as at least one hinge 4 between the central frame portion 2 and each of the two opposing wing portions 3.

Facemask with filter insert for protection against airborne pathogens

A facemask assembly can include an interior air filter that is replaceable and/or contains biocidal elements. The filter can capture exhaled H.sub.2O to activate silver ions creating a biocidal environment. In some embodiments, at least part of the facemask is made via additive manufacturing. A facemask frame assembly can create a pleated filter to increase surface area and bring the filter material closer to the mouth and nose. The facemask can include a facial skirt customized to the facial geometry of the wearer. The facemask can have a permanently sealed filter than can withstand boiling and autoclaving temperatures so the mask system can be sterilized without disassembly. In some embodiments, the facemask has a visible display of how many times the facemask has been sterilized. In some embodiments, the mask includes a RFID device that can transmit how many times the facemask has been sterilized.

FILTER MEDIUM AND COMPOSITE FILTER INCLUDING SAME

Provided is a filter medium. A filter medium according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first porous support body which has been electrostatically treated; and a nanofiber web which is disposed on one surface of the first support body and formed by accumulating nanofibers. Accordingly, excellent air filtering efficiency is obtained even for fine dust of PM 2.5 or below, and furthermore, deterioration in air filtering efficiency may be prevented or minimized even when usage is extended for a long period of time. Therefore, the filter medium and the composite filter according to an embodiment of the present invention can be widely utilized as media of filters for various air filtering devices.
