SWIVEL CONNECTION DEVICE
20240240697 · 2024-07-18 ·

A swivel connection device having a housing body, two coupling elements connected to the housing body, and hinged connection elements connected to the housing body is provided. The two coupling elements are freely rotatable relative to one another about a main rotation axis defined by the hinged connection elements. Each coupling element, in an operating configuration, supports a respective load directed along a respective load direction substantially parallel to the main rotation axis. The housing body defines a plurality of connection seats, and each connection seat defines a stop wall. Each of the two coupling elements is inserted into a respective connection seat, against a respective stop wall, along an insertion direction. The insertion direction of each coupling element is in a direction concordant with the load direction of the load supported by a same coupling element.

Anchor device with snap mechanism

An anchor device (1) with a base part (2) for attachment to an object (10), such as a load or a loading surface. The anchor device (1) has a connecting part (6) which is held on the base part (2) and can be pivoted relative to the base part about a swivel axis (4). The base part (2) has a bearing surface (8) for contact with the object. A snap mechanism (29), which has at least one snap position (30) along a pivoting movement (28) of the connecting part about the swivel axis, is provided. The snap mechanism generates a braking force (32) in the direction of the pivoting movement in front of the snap position which is reduced in the direction of the pivoting movement behind the snap position.

Swivel

A swivel has a main body, a longitudinal locking unit, and a lateral locking unit. The main body has a longitudinal axis, a lateral axis being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, an accommodating gap, a through hole, a threaded hole, and a receiving space. The accommodating gap is disposed between and communicates with the through hole and the threaded hole. The receiving space is disposed along the lateral axis and communicates with the through hole. The longitudinal locking unit has a shaft mounted through the through hole and screwed with the threaded hole. The lateral locking unit has a lateral locking component mounted in the receiving space and able to block the shaft to prevent the shaft from falling off from the accommodating gap. The swivel is capable of multiple locking manners to securely connect a belt and a heavy object.

DOG LEASH CLIP
20180374395 · 2018-12-27 ·

A clip composed of two similar hooks, pivoting around a common axis, and facing each other. Hooks are biased toward each other around the common pivot by a torsion spring. The two hooks form a loop that retains a dog collar D ring. The tips of the hooks overlap each other, allowing each hook to carry half the load. Finger pads are positioned opposite the hooks, such that when pressure is applied to the finger pads, the hooks are separated, and an ejector tab forces the dog collar D ring into the opening between the hooks, releasing the dog collar D ring. This clip is cold temperature tolerant.

Swivel for mooring arrangement having an electric power generator which converts relative rotation between two elements into electric power
10155569 · 2018-12-18 · ·

A swivel (100) for a mooring line comprises a first element (110) with a first line coupler (111) and a second element (112) with a second line coupler (113). The first element (110) and the second element (112) are rotatable relative to each other. An electric power generator (120) converts a relative rotation between the first element (110) and the second element (112) into electric power. In use, the line couplers (111, 113) are attached to separate segments of the mooring line. A pull F applied to or relieved from the mooring line causes the relative rotation. The swivel preferably contains a battery and a control unit, and may supply power to one or more sensors (130) built into or external to the swivel (100). A system for monitoring a mooring arrangement is also disclosed.
