Self-contained breathing apparatus wrap system
A self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) wrap system that is designed to protect and prolong the life of SCBA equipment. The SCBA wrap system includes a plurality of SCBA strap wraps and a SCBA cylinder wrap. Each of the plurality of SCBA strap wraps is configured to protect a particular strap of the SCBA, while the SCBA cylinder wrap protects the SCBA tank. Both the plurality of SCBA strap wraps and the SCBA cylinder wrap are made from fire retardant materials and include a reflective surface to increase the visibility of the user. Furthermore, each of the plurality of SCBA strap wraps and the SCBA cylinder wrap may each include a light assembly to further increase the user's visibility.
SUSPENSION RELIEF SEAT AS AN INTERMEDIATE ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE
A suspension relief seat that can be attached to a support harness for securing a person to an anchor point.
Gear loop
A gear loop for use in a climbing harness or any other recreational or commercial harness or belt and generally comprises a U shaped body, wherein the body is made of a first predetermined material. The gear loop body also has a first end and a second end. The gear loop further comprises an end member attached to the first end and the second end of the body. The end member is made of a second predetermined material. The end member is formed, such that it allows the gear loop to fold in a predetermined direction with relation to a harness.
Arrangement in superposable safety belt with disengageable rings
The object of this patent application consists of a safety belt to be overlaid on the original back portion of the seat belt air belonging to the field of safety engineering, whose technique allows the rapid detachment by third parties, with the pull of a single rigging included, for the case where the user on air position is unable to do so in the case of rescue, more specifically the overlay safety belt with disengageable rings (1) that includes a lumbar belt (2), with an elongated base strip (3), which is stitched over, another upper strip (4), which overlaps the original belt, the base strap (3) over which there is another woven upper strip (4) whose set overlaps itself to the original belt, and the base strip (3) has, at each end, a hinged end that lays down the original air safety belt end buckles, upper strip (4) features an engagement fold (6), preceded by a grommet (8), and a double rigging (10), has its ends equipped with a metallic pin (11).
Harness and method for manufacturing thereof
A harness for a breathing apparatus includes an interface member (6) having an elongated shape and being configured for receiving a container of breathable gas of the breathing apparatus. A hip belt (2) is connected to the interface member at a first region (50) of the interface member. A first shoulder belt (16) and a second shoulder belt (18) are connected to the interface member at the first region and at a second region (52) of the interface member. The hip belt and/or the first and second shoulder belts comprise at least one first molded heat resistant plastic material.
ASSEMBLY FOR EXTRICATION AND RESCUE
A tactical extrication and rescue assembly includes a base member including opposite longitudinal ends, the base member comprising at least one mounting element for securing the base member to an article of clothing or gear; a quick de-coupling mechanism; a rescue strap releasably secured to the base member via the quick de-coupling mechanism at one of the opposite longitudinal ends of the base, the first and second end portions including respective first and second connection members. The quick de-coupling mechanism at the longitudinal end base ensures that the quick de-coupling mechanism falls out of the side of the base during use so that a rescuer can easily and readily locate and operate the quick de-coupling mechanism in an emergency, allowing the rescuer to quickly de-couple the rescue strap from the base and, thereby, the rescuer.
HARNESS AND BELT
A wearable harness system manually configurable as a belt and a climbing harness includes an elongated flexible belt body portion having a first end and a second end defining a front belt surface and a rear belt surface, a buckle attached to the first end, a pair of elongated leg straps attached to the rear belt surface, each of which configured to form a loop around each leg of a user, and an opening provided on the rear belt surface to form a pocket along a length of the elongated flexible belt body portion to store a portion of the pair of elongated leg straps. The wearable harness system may enable the users to conceal a portion of the pair of elongated leg straps inside the pocket prior to using the wearable harness system as the belt for fastening around a clothing item worn over a waist of the user.
WAIST PADDING ASSEMBLY
Various devices, assemblies, components, systems, and methods are provided relating to a waist padding assembly. An example assembly may include a center portion and two side portions. The center portion may comprise a porous ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) material and configured to contact a back of a user. The center portion may further comprise a warp mesh material and a 3D spacer fabric. The EVA material may comprise a plurality of holes to assist with the breathability of a waist padding assembly. The two side portions may be configured to secure to respective opposite sides of the center portion. The two side portions may comprise a polyurethane foam material configured to contact the flanks of the user.
MACHINE INTERLOCKED SAFETY HARNESS WITH OPERATOR SENSING
A safety harness for an operator of a machine includes an air bladder attached to the safety harness such that the bladder is positioned between the operator and the harness. A pressure sensor is connected to the pressure sensor. A comparator circuit receives an output voltage of the pressure sensor and compares it to a reference voltage setpoint. When the safety harness is not worn by the operator the voltage output of the air pressure sensor is below the threshold reference voltage of the comparator circuit and when the safety harness is worn and tensioned the air bladder results in an increase in the output voltage from the air pressure sensor to determine whether the safety harness is being worn to switch the machine interlock when the operator is safely fastened into the harness.
FALL DETECTION ALERT/ALARM DEVICE AND METHOD
A fall detection/fall indicator device (20) that automatically senses when a user (14) of fall protection equipment, such as a fall harness (10), has experienced an arrested fall, the fall harness (10) having an electrical circuit (45) that is a closed circuit (46) in a first state and an open circuit (48) in a second state after an arrested fall, and an alert device (62) that is automatically responsive to the open circuit (48) to emit an alert/alarm to other personnel that an arrested fall has been experienced.
