FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
Systems, assemblies, and/or the like are provided. A fall protection system including an absorber assembly including an absorber body, wherein the absorber body defines a nose portion and a buffer portion, wherein the absorber body is configured to transition from a non-deformed state to a deformed state when the absorber body is subject to one or more loading forces, and wherein the buffer portion is configured to deflect against a rail when the absorber body transitions from the non-deformed state to the deformed state; and a shuttle body configured to secure the fall protection system to a rail. In some embodiments, the absorber body further defines one or more holes configured to distribute the one or more loading forces throughout the absorber assembly during deformation.
FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
Systems, assemblies, and/or the like are provided. In some embodiments, A fall protection system includes an absorber assembly including an absorber body, wherein the absorber body defines a nose portion and a locking portion, and wherein the absorber body is configured to transition from a non-deformed state to a deformed state when the absorber body is subject to one or more loading forces; and a shuttle body configured to secure the fall protection system to a rail, wherein the shuttle body defines a counter-locking portion configured to engage with the locking portion when the fall protection system is subject to the one or more loading forces. In some embodiments, the absorber body further defines one or more holes configured to distribute the one or more loading forces throughout the absorber assembly during deformation.
FALL PROTECTION LOCKING SYSTEM
A braking lever for a fall protection locking system is provided. The braking lever includes a first end defining a speed reduction curve that engages with a guide member of the fall protection locking system, a second end including a shock absorber that deforms during a fall instance, and a connecting portion extending between the first end and the second end. The connecting portion includes at least one hook that engages the second end with the connecting portion. A method of manufacturing a fall protection locking system is also provided.
ROPE JOINING
A device for joining a first rope to a second rope comprises a first end cap and a second end cap. The first end cap is configured to receive a first end of the first rope therein. The second end cap includes a first opening defining an anulus to receive a first end of the second rope therein. The anulus has a body diameter. The first opening has an outer diameter. The second end cap further comprises a second opening defining a cavity configured to receive a link. The cavity has an anulus diameter, wherein the anulus diameter is a greatest internal diameter of the cavity. The anulus diameter is greater than the body diameter and less than the outer diameter and the link is configured to link the first end cap to the second end cap.
MULTIPURPOSE SLIDING APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a multipurpose sliding apparatus, and more specifically, to a multipurpose sliding apparatus connected with a safety strap that ensures safe movement of a worker at a high place, in which one of the two fixing parts detachably coupled in different directions is fixedly coupled to a support object such as a scaffold at a construction site, the other fixing part comprises a fixing member coupled with the mounting member, which is a fixing object on which a roller part of a sliding member connected with a safety strap slides, and each fixing part of such fixing members comprises a fixing means for maintaining a gripping coupling of tongs that detachably couples an object to a recessed seating groove of a tongs housing, and at the same time, comprises a fixing means for fixing the coupling position.
GUIDED TYPE FALL ARRESTER - FORCE CONTROL
A fall arrester is provided and includes a pawl and connecting element that are configured such that the pawl and connecting element rotate in a common direction to move the pawl to an engaging position in response to a first predetermined force applied to the connecting element in a first direction, and to allow the pawl to rotate away from the connecting element as the pawl moves to the engaging position in response to a second predetermined force applied to the connecting element in a second direction that is different than the first direction.
Fall Protection and Buffering Device
A fall protection and buffering device includes a retaining strip, and a buffer strip having a length shorter than the retaining strip. The buffer strip has first and second strip sections between two ends and includes first and second textile layers overlappedly affixed with each other. The first and second textile layers are separated at one end of the buffer strip at the first strip section thereof and are affixed to top and bottom ends of the retaining strip respectively. The first and second textile layers are torn from each other sequentially along the first and second strip sections of the buffer strip in response to a falling force applied to the retaining strip. A tensile strength of tearing the first and second textile layers at the first strip section is different from a tensile strength of tearing the first and second textile layers at the second strip section.
DESCENT CONTROL DEVICE
A descent control device includes a gear train, a speed-control mechanism, a first fastening plate, a second fastening plate and a third fastening plate.
SAFE ACCESS SYSTEM
A safe access system, comprising: a main body configured to attach to mounting hardware on a structure to be accessed; a first connector attached to the main body and configured for connecting to a vertical lifeline; and a second connector attached to the main body and configured for connecting to a power ascender line.
JOIST ANCHOR
A joist anchor including a ring having a ring portion formed as an enclosed ring and an attachment portion, a swivel mechanism disposed at a first side of the joist girder and attached to the attachment portion of the ring at an attachment point, wherein the swivel mechanism is structured to permit the ring to swivel about a central axis of the swivel mechanism and to pivot about the attachment point, a U-channel having a planar horizontal portion and two planar vertical portions extending from opposite ends of the planar horizontal portion, wherein the planar horizontal portion is structured to directly abut against a second side of the joist girder opposite the first side of the joist girder, and a bolt structured to extend through the swivel mechanism, a gap between the left and right members of the joist girder, and the U-channel.
