A Fall Restraint Apparatus for a Grid Framework Structure
A fall restraint device for moving on a grid structure including a plurality of grid cells each having a length in a range 600-800 mm and a width in a range 400-600 mm, so defining a grid opening defined by a pair of adjacent tracks of a first set of parallel tracks and a pair of adjacent tracks of a second set of parallel tracks. The fall restraint device includes a frame having an upper portion configured for restraining at least one operative, a moving assembly mounted to a lower portion of the frame, the moving assembly being configured for moving the frame on the grid structure; wherein the frame has a weight less than 100 kg such that the moving assembly will be manually lifted clear of the grid structure by the at least one operative restrained to the upper portion of the frame.
Fall protection locking assembly, fall protection device and fall protection system
The present application relates to the technical field of aerial climbing and transportation operations, and provides a fall protection locking assembly, a fall protection device and a fall protection system. The fall protection locking assembly includes a fixed main body, configured to be installed to a rail through a first wheel body assembly containing a wheel shaft; a lockup member installed on the fixed main body and be switched between a lockup position and a free position; and a first trigger mechanism installed to the fixed main body, the first trigger mechanism includes a transmission member and a drive member, the transmission member is configured to be installed to the wheel shaft and rotate with the wheel shaft, and the transmission member is switched with changes in centrifugal force between a first position, in which the transmission member is disengaged from the drive member in the first position, and a second position, in which the transmission member transmits the rotation of the wheel shaft to the drive member so that the drive member rotates to drive the lockup member to move to the lockup position. When an operator accidentally falls, a wheel shaft will have a higher rotational speed, and then a transmission member will drive the drive member to move together under the action of centrifugal force, thereby driving the lockup member moves to the lockup position to ensure the safety of use.
Guided type fall arrester—force control
A fall arrester is provided and includes a pawl and connecting element that are configured such that the pawl and connecting element rotate in a common direction to move the pawl to an engaging position in response to a first predetermined force applied to the connecting element in a first direction, and to allow the pawl to rotate away from the connecting element as the pawl moves to the engaging position in response to a second predetermined force applied to the connecting element in a second direction that is different than the first direction.
Continuous safety or belay system
A bifurcation method and system for a passive continuous belay system that allows for a user to select multiple pathways using intermediate tracks. A main track and the intermediate tracks provide a linear passive continuous belay using an anchor mechanism that is configured to grasp the outside of the structural member track, using rolling elements and/or low-friction sliding. The user may select multiple pathways using intermediate lateral tracks to provide Cartesian movement at designated (e.g., perpendicular) transition or junction points. Desired tracks may be selected by a user via sliding along a support plate or track in a junction box and/or by rotating a portion of the junction box. Amusement attraction activities that include non-harnessed play may be intertwined or located adjacent to activities utilizing harnessed play.
ANCHOR TROLLEY AND FALL ARREST SYSTEM AND METHOD IMPLEMENTING THE SAME
A fall arrest anchor trolley for arresting the fall of a user. In one embodiment, the invention can be a system for arresting movement of a worker after falling from an elevated work surface comprising: a rail; a trolley in rollable contact with the rail, the trolley having a body, a brake sub-system, and a plurality of wheels, the brake sub-system comprising a brake rod, a brake pad connected to the brake rod, a lanyard connector connected to the brake rod, and a resilient element; the brake rod slidably coupled to the body so that the brake sub-system is alterable between: (1) a free state in which the brake pad is spaced a distance above the rail; and (2) an arrest state in which at least a portion of the brake pad frictionally engages the rail; the resilient element biasing the brake sub-system into the free state.
FALL ARREST DEVICE
A fall arrest device comprises a guide for a track member which, in use, passes through the device, a cam member including a cam portion, and a clutch responsive to at least one of the relative speed and relative acceleration of the fall arrest device and the track member. The clutch serves to determine when the relative speed and/or acceleration is at least a predetermined value. The clutch includes a trigger arm connecting to the cam member so as to move the cam portion of the cam member toward the guide so as to lock the track member between the cam member and the guide when at least the predetermined value is attained.
A fall arrest device comprises a guide (3) for a track member (7) which, in use, passes through the device, a cam member (9) including a cam portion, and a clutch (21) responsive to at least one of the relative speed and relative acceleration of the fall arrest device and the track member. The clutch serves to determine when the relative speed and/or acceleration is at least a predetermined value. The clutch includes a trigger arm (19) connecting to the cam member so as to move the cam portion of the cam member toward the guide so as to lock the track member between the cam member and the guide when at least the predetermined value is attained.
Swivel Anchor Point
The invention is composed of a main member, a bearing, a brake ring and a detection structure. The main member has a middle hole for installing the bearing, a first pivot portion supporting a first shaft, and a second pivot portion supporting a second shaft. The first and second shafts are arranged coaxially and perpendicular to the middle hole. The brake ring has a brake hole, a first arm coupled with the first shaft, a second arm coupled with the second shaft. The detection structure is to keep the brake ring at the first position, so that the brake ring is allowed to rotate around the bearing with the first and second shaft. However, when the brake ring is subjected to a set stress to control the displacement of the brake ring to the second position. Therefore, the displacement change of the brake ring can be visually detected.
