Swivel anchor point
The invention is composed of a main member, a bearing, a brake ring and a detection structure. The main member has a middle hole for installing the bearing, a first pivot portion supporting a first shaft, and a second pivot portion supporting a second shaft. The first and second shafts are arranged coaxially and perpendicular to the middle hole. The brake ring has a brake hole, a first arm coupled with the first shaft, a second arm coupled with the second shaft. The detection structure is to keep the brake ring at the first position, so that the brake ring is allowed to rotate around the bearing with the first and second shaft. However, when the brake ring is subjected to a set stress to control the displacement of the brake ring to the second position. Therefore, the displacement change of the brake ring can be visually detected.
GUIDED TYPE FALL ARRESTER - FORCE CONTROL
A fall arrester is provided and includes a pawl and connecting element that are configured such that the pawl and connecting element rotate in a common direction to move the pawl to an engaging position in response to a first predetermined force applied to the connecting element in a first direction, and to allow the pawl to rotate away from the connecting element as the pawl moves to the engaging position in response to a second predetermined force applied to the connecting element in a second direction that is different than the first direction.
CHALLENGE COURSE WITH RETURN TRACK
An apparatus and system whereby a user can move by guidance of a return track on a challenger course. The return track may extend away from the challenge course and overhang its main frame so the user can experience an element outside of the main frame.
Safety restraint anchor system
A safety restraint anchor system may include, but is not limited to: a pole portion; a circumferential frame portion disposed about an axis of the pole; and at least one safety line anchor.
LIFELINE BRACKET FOR LADDERS, LADDERS INCLUDING LIFELINE BRACKETS AND RELATED WORK PLATFORM SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A bracket for a ladder includes a base member and an arm connected to the base member, the arm being at an angle relative to the base member, the arm comprising a first end having a clamp and a second end having a tethering structure. The base member has a shape configured to be positioned on a rung of a ladder with the clamp engaging a frame member of a work platform system.
Fall protection safety rail system
A fall protection safety rail system has a rail defining a trolley channel therein. The rail also defines exterior side and top attachment channels. The system has a support which engages the side attachment channels to support the rail either side thereof. One type of support may comprise a hanger channel bracket having a web and flanges spaced apart so that the flanges fit against the sides of the rail. The side and top attachment channels may be dual-purposed for connecting rail sections together using respective splices. Furthermore, the side attachment channels may overlap with the trolley channel along a vertical axis but not along a horizontal axis to confer a low profile rail configuration having enhanced resilience and capability.
Height safety trolley and modular rail system
A height safety trolley and modular rigid rail system for construction and maintenance personnel working at height is designed to allow continuous, smooth and fail-safe operation, for fall restraint and fall arrest, rope access and abseil. The height safety trolley has a connection arm, a clip body and a main chassis operably interfacing a rail engagement mechanism, movable between a rail engagement position to engage a rigid rail, and a disengagement position to disengage the rigid rail. The rail engagement mechanism may comprise integral pivot arms which close simultaneously inwards to engage the rigid rail and outwards to disengage the rail. As such, the trolley is easily and safely attachable and detachable at any position along the rigid rail.
Fall protection shuttle apparatus and methods of using the same
Various embodiments are directed to shuttle apparatuses for fall protection and methods of using the same. In various embodiments, a shuttle apparatus comprises a shuttle housing configured for dynamic engagement relative to a guide member, a first brake assembly configured for activation during a fall instance, and a secondary brake assembly configured independent from the first brake assembly, the secondary brake assembly comprising: a secondary brake pawl configured to pivotably rotate between a disengaged position and an activated position, the secondary brake pawl configured to rotate toward the activated position during the fall instance; and a secondary brake lock arm configured to freely rotate independent of the shuttle housing such that the shuttle housing being arranged in an angled configuration causes the secondary brake lock arm to rotate to an engaged position to obstruct the secondary brake pawl from rotating, thereby preventing the secondary brake assembly from being activated.
Fall restraint apparatus for a grid framework structure
A fall restraint device for moving on a grid structure including a plurality of grid cells each having a length in a range 600-800 mm and a width in a range 400-600 mm, so defining a grid opening defined by a pair of adjacent tracks of a first set of parallel tracks and a pair of adjacent tracks of a second set of parallel tracks. The fall restraint device includes a frame having an upper portion configured for restraining at least one operative, a moving assembly mounted to a lower portion of the frame, the moving assembly being configured for moving the frame on the grid structure; wherein the frame has a weight less than 100 kg such that the moving assembly will be manually lifted clear of the grid structure by the at least one operative restrained to the upper portion of the frame.
Rail systems, shuttle assemblies, and methods of use
Methods, systems, assemblies, and/or the like are provided. According to various embodiments, there is provided a rail system including a vertical rail aligned vertically and including a vertical track; a changeover rail comprising a first portion, second portion, and a changeover track, wherein the first portion is configured to operably connect to the vertical rail, wherein the second portion is configured to be fixedly connected to a post, wherein the changeover track is disposed along the first and second portions, wherein the vertical track and the changeover track are configured to be aligned to form a track configured to receive a shuttle assembly configured to travel along the track; and a changeover mechanism configured to operably attach the vertical rail and the changeover rail.
