A force damper arranged to progressively arrest a first force imparted by an object moving in a first direction is disclosed. The force damper includes a housing enclosure having a first housing end and a second housing end. The first housing end includes a first connection point, and the second housing end includes an opening. A driving member is disposed within the housing enclosure and includes a first shaft end, a second shaft end, and a shaft therebetween. The first shaft end includes a stop and the second shaft end includes a second connection point. A compressible member is disposed within the housing enclosure between the stop and the opening. The compressible member is formed from a material that at least partially undergoes plastic deformation when the first force is arrested and imparts a second force on the stop toward first housing end.

WORKSPACE OPERATING CONDITION DETECTION APPARATUS FOR USE WITH A FALL PROTECTION DEVICE AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

Various embodiments are directed to apparatuses and methods for detecting a workspace operating condition associated with a workspace. In various embodiments, an apparatus for detecting a workspace operating condition associated with a workspace may comprise an imaging device configured to capture imaging data, the imaging data comprising an image of a first connection location corresponding to a workspace anchor and a second connection location corresponding to an operator attachment; and a controller configured to detect a workspace operating condition associated with the workspace based on the imaging data; wherein the workspace operating condition is defined by a first connection status of a fall protection device at the first connection location and a second connection status of the fall protection device at the second connection location, wherein the controller configured to detect the first connection status and the second connection status based at least in part on the imaging data.

Rooftop rigging support system

In at least one embodiment, a rooftop rigging support system mounts to a roof a building for suspending a load under an eave of the building. In some embodiments, the rooftop rigging support system comprises an arm that extends outward over the eave and then back inward underneath the eave. In some embodiments, the arm is a generally rigid, non-articulating structure. In some embodiments, the arm can be manually pivoted between a deployed position reaching under the eave and a withdrawn position extending above the roof.

Fall arrest assembly

A fall arrest assembly for anchoring a fall arresting line to a pair of roof trusses includes a truss mount that has a pair of channels each being integrated into the truss mount. The pair of channels is oriented parallel with respect to each other to insertably receive a beam of a respective one of a pair of roof trusses thereby mounting the truss mount to the pair of roof trusses. An anchor box is integrated into the truss mount and the anchor box has an anchor point which is integrated into the anchor box. In this way the anchor point can have a fall arresting line attached to the anchor point thereby facilitating the fall arresting line to be mounted to the pair of roof trusses.
