Roofing safety system
The roofing safety system is a safety device. The roofing safety system is configured for use with a pitched roof. The roofing safety system forms an anchor point to which individuals and materials are attached during the installation of the pitched roof. The roofing safety system comprises a plurality of anchor plates, a master spar, and a shingle shelf. The plurality of anchor plates secure the roofing safety system to the pitched roof. The plurality of anchor plates attach to the master spar. The shingle shelf attaches to the plurality of anchor plates. The plurality of anchor plates removably attach to the pitched roof. Any individuals on the pitched roof are anchored to the master spar using a cord and a carabiner. Any roofing materials, such as a plurality of shingles, located on the pitched roof are secured using the shingle shelf.
Personal safety apparatus and system
A personal safety apparatus and systems include a mast connected to a base. The mast includes a plurality of mast sections and is vertically extendable from the base between a collapsed position and an extended position. A jib is rotatably connected to the mast. The jib is moveable between a first position wherein the jib is generally parallel to the mast and a second position wherein the jib extends outward from the mast. The jib includes a first jib arm and a second jib arm. The second jib arm is moveable relative to the first jib arm. An anchor point is secured to the jib. The anchor point is configured to connect to a cable configured to secure to a person.
Grabber tool and system
Devices for anchoring objects to structural elements such as rafter beams and other similar objects are disclosed. Such anchoring devices include coupling devices configured to grasp beams nondestructively and may include multiple coupling devices to enable supporting extended structures too large or heavy to be supported by a single anchoring point in areas where hanging or supporting objects might otherwise be difficult.
Lifeline bypass shuttle
In some embodiments, a lifeline comprises an anchor arranged to support a cable and a shuttle arranged to move along a length of the cable. The anchor comprises a body portion and a cable engaging portion. The body portion comprises a thickness. The shuttle comprises a first end and a second end. A cavity extends from the first end to the second end and a slot extends from the first end to the second end. The cable extends through the cavity. A width of the slot is greater than the thickness of the body portion. The width of the slot is less than a cross-sectional size of the cable.
Horizontal lifeline shuttle apparatus
A horizontal lifeline shuttle apparatus is provided. The horizontal lifeline shuttle apparatus includes an attachment portion, a body portion, and a cable channel. The body portion is configured to at least partially surround a portion of a cable so as to retain the portion of the cable within a cable channel The attachment portion is configured to move relative to the body portion based at least in part on the motion of the moveable pin fixedly secured thereto. At least a portion of the moveable pin is disposed within each of a plurality of moveable pin guide grooves positioned within the body portion such that a range of motion of the moveable pin is defined at least in part by the plurality of moveable pin grooves. At least one of the plurality of moveable pin grooves comprises a vertical portion.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SECURING A VERTICAL LINE
An anchor is provided for securing a strand from a wall aperture having a maximum height dimension and a maximum width dimension greater than the maximum height dimension. The anchor has an anchor body member having a first wall engagement surface on a lateral side there-of and a strand-securing aperture. A first hook member is attached to the anchor body member, extends laterally therefrom, and has a second wall engagement surface that intersects and is perpendicular to the first wall engagement surface. A second hook member attached to the first hook member has a longitudinal hook length and a third wall engagement surface parallel to, spaced apart from and opposing the first wall engagement surface. The first and third engagement surfaces define a slot with a width greater than the wall thickness. The longitudinal hook length is less than the maximum aperture width and greater than the maximum aperture height.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATING TO SUB-SURFACE FALL PROTECTION ANCHOR
Sub-surface roof attachment systems, methods, etc., configured for anchoring a personal fall protection anchorage device to a roof, the sub-surface roof attachment system comprising an anchor point base plate sized and configured for attachment to an upper surface of a support substrate, wherein the anchor point base plate is configured to immobily hold the personal fall protection anchorage device to the support substrate adequate for safe fall protection for a worker, the anchor point base plate further comprising an upwardly extendible adjustment bolt, an upper surface of the upwardly extendible adjustment bolt having a cavity therein configured to immobily receive and hold the personal fall protection anchorage device.
FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
A fall protection system having one or more modules is provided. Each module is made of a structural sheet having a ridge and at least one attachment panel, and a user attachment mechanism. The attachment panel can be secured to a working structure. The module can further have a restraining mechanism for resisting at least lateral and rotational movement of the ridge up to a threshold force, and be configured to fail or deform and permit lateral and rotational movement of the ridge if the threshold force is exceeded. The restraining mechanism can be tabs extending from the attachment panel, fasteners, welds, or another mechanism for resisting lateral and rotational movement of the ridge.
Roof vent and anchoring apparatus
A roof vent and anchoring apparatus that is configured to be superposed a building and provide both a vent for the building and an anchor to receive a safety element operable to secure a human thereto. The roof vent and anchoring apparatus includes a base member that is planar in manner and adjacent the roof. A lower member extends upward from the first side of the base member. An upper member is superposed the lower member and provides coverage thereof. An anchor assembly including opposing block members and a rod member intermediate thereto is provided to receive a safety element coupled to a human. An anchoring assembly is operably coupled to the second side of the base member and is comprised of bolt members and a bar member. The anchoring assembly is configured to be secured to a roof support element underneath the roof of a building.
Rotorcraft fall restraint protection attach points and mechanism systems
