System for Controlling the Use of An Exercise Course by a Person in a Climbing Park
20170326429 · 2017-11-16 ·

A system for controlling use of an exercise course by a person in a climbing park has a guiding element, which extends along a longitudinal direction and along which a person can move between a connecting section of the guiding element and a disconnecting section of the guiding element. A securing device is movably attachable along the guiding element between the connecting section and the disconnecting section. The securing device is connectable to the guiding element in the connecting section and is disconnectable from the guiding element in the disconnecting section. An identification device is configured such that, by the identification device, at least a connecting of the securing device within the identification section is identifiable, such that an occupancy of the guiding element with another person is identifiable therewith. An actuating device of the securing device is controllable with the identification device, such that the actuating device of the securing device is adjustable in a clearance position and, upon identification of the occupancy of the guiding element by another person, in a blocking mode. The actuating device of the securing device is coupled with the securing device, such that, in the blocking mode, a connecting of the securing device in the connecting section and/or a displacing of the securing device along the guiding element is blocked.

The anchor and clevis system comprises a quick, tactical, and safe means to deploy a canine into an attic or other intended space to conduct a search and/or for the apprehension of a criminal suspect and comprises an anchor adapted to lock onto a support structure and a clevis attached to the anchor and threaded to accept a pole for remote deployment. Attached to the anchoring device by a carabiner is the top pulley. A lift rope is threaded through the top pulley allowing the user on the ground or lower floor to quickly lift a dog into an attic with minimal exposure to harm. The lift rope engages a lower pulley allowing a subject to be lifted by one user. Attached to the lower pulley by a second carabiner is a snap-shackle release system which allows the user to disengage the dog from the device remotely.

Tie-on arrangement and bracket for a tank
09808658 · 2017-11-07 · ·

An installation for supporting a worker on a tank: The tank includes a plurality of vertical staves held to define a peripheral wall by a plurality of hoops. A top bracket at the top hoop has a tie-on receiving fixture for attachment to a worker's tie-on at the outer end of the bracket. The tie-on bracket on the top hoop is shaped to not pivot up and down around the top hoop. At least one lower hoop is located on the side of the tank. Each lower bracket at each lower hoop has a tie-on receiving fixture for attachment to a worker's tie-on at the outer end of the bracket. Each lower bracket is shaped and positioned for being able to be pivoted up and down around its lower hoop. A threaded end region on the end of a hoop segment passes through a hole in the respective bracket. A nut is tightened on the threaded end region for holding the bracket to a junction fixture on the end of a respective hoop segment. The adjacent hoop end regions or hoop segment end regions are held in the junction fixture to form the respective hoop.

FALL RESTRAINT SYSTEM

The present system for fall restraint includes a mounting frame connected to a trigger mechanism and firing blocks, with a trigger cable extending through apertures in the mounting frame and trigger mechanism. Sudden movement by a user, such as a fall, actuates the trigger mechanism to trigger the firing blocks. The firing blocks are loaded with anchors and firing cartridges. Triggering the firing blocks causes the cartridges to fire, propelling the anchors into an anchoring surface, such as a roof. Because the user is connected to the trigger cable, once the anchors deploy the user is anchored to the roof and their fall arrested.
