Chemical damper
According to the present invention, there is provided a damper for ducting comprising at least one fin comprising an intumescent composition.
A SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A FIRE SAFE SEALING IN AN APERTURE IN A WALL, A CEILING OR A FLOOR OF A BUILDING, AN ELEMENT FOR A FIRE SAFE SEALING SYSTEM AND A BULKHEAD FOR A FIRE SAFE SEALING IN THE APERTURE
The disclosure relates to a system for providing a fire safe sealing in an aperture in a wall, a ceiling or a floor of a building, consisting of at least two block shaped sealing elements with two main surfaces being oriented parallel to each other and at least three lateral faces connecting the main surfaces to each other, of which at least one element is made from mineral fibres and a binding agent, whereby lateral faces being arranged adjacent to each other, or lateral faces and main surfaces being arranged adjacent to each other, incorporate an angle being unequal to 90 and whereby each element is shorter than the length of the aperture and smaller than the height of the aperture.
ACOUSTIC DAMPENING FIRE STOP
A sound control firestop device. It has a horizontal pad portion made from an elastomeric or fibrous material with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, the horizontal pad portion having a length and a width; and a vertical projection spacer portion projecting outwardly from the second surface, wherein the vertical projection portion extends across at least a portion of the width of the horizontal pad portion. A method of installation thereof.
Transition for passage through a wall, and module
A transition for passage of cables (4), wires, and/or pipes through a wall or other barrier and also a module (3) forming a part of the transition, wherein the transition includes a frame (1, 22, 26, 28, 30, 31, 33), having one or more through openings, a compression unit (2) inside each through opening of the frame (1, 22, 26, 28, 30, 31, 33), and one or more modules (3) for receiving the cables (4), wires, and/or pipes. Each module (3) includes two module halves (5, 11-15, 35). Each module (3) includes an outer shell of a compressible material and an intumescent material (6) placed inside the outer shell of the module (3).
Firestop collar
A firestop collar (10) for sealing of an opening, especially of a line penetration (12), that passes through a wall (11) or ceiling, has a frame (16) and a block (20) of optionally intumescent material disposed therein, and is characterized in that the frame (16) is of modular construction.
FIRE-PROTECTION COLLAR
The present invention relates to a fire-protection-collar element (10) for forming a fire-protection collar (35) for closing through-passages in walls (38), ceilings and/or floors in the event of a fire. The present invention also relates to a method for forming a fire-protection collar (35) for closing through-passages in walls (38), ceilings and/or floors in the event of a fire.
FIRE-RESISTANT CASING FOR A MEMBER
In order to provide passive fire protection for a member, casing portions that are physically discrete from each other and from the member are made by injection molding of fluid fire-resistant material (which may be intumescent), and allowing the material to cure. The inner surfaces of the casing portions are complementary in shape to a portion of the outer surface of the member. The casing portions collectively form a casing that surrounds the outer surface of the member, with their inner surfaces abutting against the outer surface of the member. The casing portions are secured to the member by a removable strap or collar, an adhesive, or both.
SLEEVE ASSEMBLY FOR A POURED CONCRETE DECK
A sleeve assembly for poured concrete decks has a tubular sleeve connected to a base flange by stiffeners or an optional base wall. An intumescent ring and fire ring plate are fastened to the base flange. The stiffeners and optional base wall are configured so concrete passes between the stiffeners to entrain a fire ring plate and ring of intumescent material in the concrete by passing through a gap between the base wall and the sleeve or through open windows in the base wall to entrain the base wall when it is present.
Firestop collar
A firestop collar (10) for sealing of openings, especially of line penetrations (12), that pass through walls (11) or ceilings, has a frame (16) and a block (20) of optionally intumescent material disposed therein, and is characterized in that the frame (16) is of modular construction.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FIREWALL
A method can be used for producing a firewall in an opening of a building. In this case, at least one fire protection profile is used which contains a tube made of a composite material, which is filled with a fire protection material. The fire protection profile is designed such that it can be combined with an adjacent fire protection profile in the event of a fire. In order to produce the firewall, it is first transferred into an at least partially compressed state or provided in such a state. The fire protection profile is then introduced into the opening, with the at least partially compressed state being maintained. The fire protection profile is subsequently released so that it is decompressed at least partially and at least in portions.
