HIGH-PRESSURE RESISTANT FABRIC FIRE SHUTTER
A fire shutter for preventing the spread of fire and smoke through an opening such as a door in a building structure that is resistant to pressure from a high-pressure hose. A flexible coated fabric composite, using high-temperature and high-pressure resistant materials. The shutter combines two layers of texturized fiberglass fabric, wherein each layer combines fiberglass and wire strands, with one strand wrapped in a spiral around the other, in both the warp and weft directions. The fabric is impregnated with vermiculite. Each layer of fabric, containing the fiberglass and wire strands, is coated, on an outer portion, with a high temperature stabilized, functionally filled polymer. After exposure to an extreme temperature condition, immediately followed by a standard hose test, the fire shutter functions as a fire partition, without smoke, fire or water penetration, while remaining flexible and allowing for egress.
Fire or Smoke Barrier
A fire or smoke barrier (1) having a head box (2) for housing a curtain (4) which is open at its underside to allow the curtain to be deployed and withdrawn. The head box (2) houses a roller (3) for the curtain (4) to be rolled from for deployment and rolled back onto for withdrawal and attached at the bottom of the curtain (4) is a bottom bar (7) for weighing down the curtain (4) when deployed. The head box (2) has one or more apertures (14, 15) for cleaning air circulation and being provided at the, or each, aperture (14,15) with a spring (22) loaded trap (16,17) normally held open by a fusible link (31), the link fusing (31) in event of fire.

Roll-Up Doors and Method for Securing Same
A roll-up door including a flexible curtain having a front surface, a back surface, a first end coupled to a shaft, a second end opposite the first end, and first and second side edges extending between the first end and the second end, the flexible curtain being moveable between a retracted position wherein the flexible curtain is coiled around the shaft and a deployed position wherein the flexible curtain is uncoiled from the shaft. A first retention band is mounted along at least a portion of the first side edge of the flexible curtain, the first retention band including an inner surface at least partially facing towards the flexible curtain, an outer surface opposite the inner surface, a fixed edge attached to the flexible curtain generally parallel to the first side edge, and a free edge opposite the fixed edge and movable relative to the fixed edge.
VEHICLE FIRE PROTECTIVE COVER
A fire protection external vehicle cover including a plurality of panels of a fire retardant material or textile. Each panel is configured to cover an adjacent portion of the cabin of the vehicle; with one or more panels including a retention mechanism to secure the panels by gripping between closed doors and door frames of the cabin. A storage and deployment mechanism is configured to store and deploy the cover from one or more locations on the vehicle; wherein in operation, when deployed, the cover forms an enclosure over the cabin thereby protecting external surfaces of the cabin and thus its occupants and an internal lining of the vehicle from exposure to radiant heat, burning embers and flames if the vehicle is moving through or becomes trapped in a fire.

Closure system for door openings
A closure system for door openings defined in a wall (P) and comprising: a quick-opening door (1) adjustedly installed within the door opening (H) and featuring a flexible roll-up sheet (11), an upper casing (12), and vertical uprights (3) equipped with guides (31) for the displacement of the flexible sheet (11); a fire door (2) installed at one side of the wall and comprising at least one fireproof layer (21, 23), for the opening and closure of the door opening (H), a perimeter frame constituted by the vertical uprights (3) and a rearward fireproof cover (4) of the upper casing (12) of the quick-opening door (1).
Smoke or fire barrier
The present invention relates to a smoke or fire barrier for closing an opening in a building, the barrier including: a curtain for closing the opening; means arrangeable at a head of the opening for deploying the curtain and for retracting the curtain; guide means at sides of the opening for retaining edges of the curtain after deployment and for reducing flow of smoke past the edges of the curtain, the guide means including: a pair of jaws for holding the edges of the deployed curtain, at least one of the jaws being movable towards the other and means for moving the or each movable jaw after deployment of the curtain.
