High efficiency, high output transmission having an aluminum housing
A transmission includes an input shaft coupled to a prime mover, a countershaft, main shaft, and an output shaft, with gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. A shift actuator selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft by rotatably coupling gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. The shift actuator is mounted on an exterior wall of a housing including the countershaft and the main shaft. An integrated actuator housing includes a single external power access for the shift actuator. A controller interprets a shaft displacement angle, determines if the transmission is in an imminent zero or zero torque region, and performs a transmission operation in response to the transmission in the imminent zero or zero torque region.
HYDRAULIC ARRANGEMENT AND AGRICULTURAL OR INDUSTRIAL UTILITY VEHICLE
A hydraulic arrangement for an agricultural or industrial utility vehicle includes a main hydraulic circuit, a main hydraulic pump, a charge pump, a lubricating hydraulic circuit, a gearbox lubricating hydraulic circuit, a shifting hydraulic circuit, and a gearbox pump. Hydraulic fluid can be fed to the main hydraulic circuit by the main hydraulic pump. Hydraulic fluid can be fed to the main hydraulic pump by the charge pump. At least a part of the hydraulic fluid delivered by the charge pump can be fed to the lubricating hydraulic circuit. Hydraulic fluid can be fed to the shifting hydraulic circuit by the gearbox pump. At least a portion of the hydraulic fluid delivered by the charge pump can be fed to the gearbox lubricating hydraulic circuit.
WORKING FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM
A working fluid supply system is provided with: a first oil pump and a second oil pump driven by an engine; a switching valve configured to cause a discharge passage of the second oil pump to communicate with at least one of a supply passage and a first drain passage; and a controller configured to switch the switching valve. The controller is configured to switch the switching valve by spending a switching time that is set in accordance with a degree of pressure variation predicted to be caused in the supply passage when the switching valve is switched instantaneously.
ACCUMULATOR AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A number of variations may include a fluid accumulator comprising, a housing and at least one movable piston wherein the piston separates an interior of the housing into a first chamber constructed and arranged for containing a first fluid, and a second chamber constructed and arranged for containing a second fluid, and wherein the first chamber has an first fluid opening and a first fluid exhaust constructed and arranged to expel excess first fluid from the fluid accumulator and prevent first fluid from entering the second chamber.
HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION RANGE SELECTION
A hydraulic control system for a multiple speed motor vehicle automatic transmission having electronic transmission range selection (ETRS) provides both a forward gear ratio and Park options during default conditions where the transmission loses electronic control when the ETRS system is in a drive mode. The hydraulic control system includes a two position default disable solenoid valve, an ETRS valve, a park servo, position sensors, a default disable valve, a drive select valve, various orifices and blow-off valves as well as main and auxiliary pumps, a torque converter, a torque converter regulator and control valve and a plurality of linear force solenoid valves and clutch regulation valves which control a like plurality of clutch and brake actuators.
HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM FOR TRANSMISSION
A hydraulic control system for a transmission is provided with a power source, two drive wheels, a power transmission device, a hydraulic pump, a main valve, and a controller. The power transmission device is configured to be set to a plurality of speed stages. The main valve is disposed between the hydraulic pump and the power transmission device and adjusts the main pressure of hydraulic fluid supplied from the hydraulic pump to the power transmission device. The controller controls the main valve. The controller sets the main pressure to a pressure value derived by correcting a clutch holding pressure of the set speed stage based on a load applied to each of the drive wheels.
Systems and methods for content delivery acceleration of virtual reality and augmented reality web pages
Among other things, this document describes systems, devices, and methods for improving the delivery and performance of web pages authored to produce virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) experiences. In some embodiments, such web pages are analyzed. This analysis may be initiated at the request of a content server that receives a client request for the HTML. The analysis may involve, asynchronous to the client request, loading the page into a non-user-facing browser environment and allowing the VR or AR scene to execute, even including executing animation routines for a predetermined period of time. Certain characteristics of the scene and of objects are thereby captured. Based on this information, an object list ordered by loading priority is prepared. Consulting this information in response to subsequent requests for the page, a content server can implement server push, early hints and/or other delivery enhancements.
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE AND POWER TRANSMISSION METHOD
A power transmission device includes a torque converter device, a first hydraulic pump, a first oil channel, a second oil channel, a third oil channel, a second pressure control valve, and a controller. The torque converter device has a torque converter and a lock-up clutch. The first oil channel supplies hydraulic fluid from the first hydraulic pump to the torque converter. The second oil channel drains hydraulic fluid from the torque converter. The third oil channel communicates with the first oil channel and the second oil channel. The second pressure control valve is disposed in the third oil channel. The controller sets the second pressure control valve to an open state when the lock-up clutch is in an engaged state.
System and method for controlling pump performance in a transmission
A hydraulic system of a transmission having a controller and a variable displacement pump. The pump includes an inlet and outlet and is adapted to be driven by a torque-generating mechanism. The system also includes a lube circuit fluidly coupled to the pump. A lube regulator valve is disposed in the lube circuit, such that the lube regulator valve is configured to move between at least a regulated position and an unregulated position. The regulated position corresponds to a regulated pressure in the lube circuit. A pressure switch is fluidly coupled to the lube regulator valve and configured to move between a first position and a second position, where the switch is disposed in electrical communication with the controller. A solenoid is disposed in electrical communication with the controller and is controllably coupled to the pump to alter the displacement of the pump.
