A method for operating a hydraulic system for an automatic transmission includes determining a defined primary pressure value (p_PE) to be adjusted based on a measurement of an input current (I_22) of an electric motor and also includes adjusting a secondary flow rate (Q_SZ) to be adjusted based on calculation and adjustment of a target speed (n_Z) of the electric motor.

Automatic transmission

Provided is an automatic transmission with which a large impact is hardly applied to the component of the switching mechanism or the switching control circuit when the drive source is re-driven. When a drive source ENG is determined to be in the stopped state, if the position of a slider HC1 does not correspond to the position the control part ECU instructed before the drive source ENG is determined to be in the stopped state, the control part ECU of the automatic transmission TM transmits a signal for switching a two-way clutch TW to a state corresponding to the state of a slider HC1.

In a hydraulic control device and a hydraulic control method of a transmission, in a case that an oil supplying section is supplying a first oil to a continuously variable transmission mechanism, a TCU outputs, to an LC control valve of the oil supplying section, a control signal for giving a command to start supply of a second oil to a torque converter if a pulley pressure detected by a pressure sensor reaches a pressure threshold value.

System and method for improving fuel economy and reducing emissions when a vehicle is decelerating

A system according to the principles of the present disclosure includes a fuel control module, a transmission control module, and a starter control module. The fuel control module selectively stops fuel delivery to cylinders of an engine while the engine is coupled to a transmission of a vehicle when an accelerator pedal is not depressed. The transmission control module selectively decouples the engine from the transmission while fuel delivery to the cylinders is stopped. The fuel control module selectively allows the engine to stop while the vehicle is moving by not resuming fuel delivery to the cylinders when the engine is decoupled from the engine. The starter control module controls a starter to automatically restart the engine when the accelerator pedal is depressed after fuel delivery to the cylinders is stopped and the engine is decoupled from the engine.

A power transmission includes a first brake, a pressure regulating valve, an accumulator, an oil temperature sensor, a second electromagnetic valve allowing supply of working oil to a piston, and a power transmission control device. The power transmission control device includes a memory relating and storing a working oil temperature and a permission time configured to allow release of the accumulator, and a receiver unit receiving a starting request. The accumulator is connected such that the working oil, in which the pressure is accumulated, can be supplied to the first brake and the piston. The power transmission control device sets a permission time corresponding to a temperature of the working oil on the basis of the memory. The working oil, in which the pressure is accumulated, is supplied to the first brake only during the permission time when restart information is received, while a vehicle performs idling stop control.
