Special Fire Protection System for Runaway Grass and Forest Fires and Method for Use
A Fire Protection System for Runaway Grass and Forest Fires and Method for Use for protecting residential, commercial and governmental structures made of a heat reflective cover configured to fully encase the structure, a fire proof spray foamapproximately 2 to 12 inches, with fire retardant additive, multiple hold down straps, a series of anchors, a pre spray release coating a set of corner bands whereby the system, broadly considered, can be individually installed into a position to completely isolate a free standing structure from an external fire and can be readily customized to fit varying size structures which can prevent damage to a free standing structure and its contents from an external wild fire or firestorm.
FIRE BARRIER APPARATUS
A fire barrier apparatus comprises a plurality of elongate, hollow barrier members. Each barrier member defines an interior, an inlet arrangement, through which, in use, air can enter the interior and an outlet arrangement, through which, in use, air can exit from the interior. The apparatus is arranged so that each barrier member abuts at least one adjacent barrier member.
Portable Firewall
A self-contained, portable firewall is provided having a rectangular configuration with a catwalk and a railing on the top side for accommodating a plurality of manned firefighting stations. The catwalk can comprise two openings, which can be covered by doors or hatches, that allow exit and entry of the manned firefighting stations through stairs located within the firewall structure. The stairs terminate at the floor and lead to a plurality of reinforced doors. Embodiments of the firewall comprise central doors having side doors flanking each central door, and each central door operatively associated with a status light. The manned firefighting stations are fed from at least one fluid input located at the bottom of the firewall structure, and the firewall structure further comprises a plurality of vents, fans and fume hoods.
Multi TFI with fluid sprinklers
A fire extinguisher apparatus that consists on a loading lever network that gets built in the transport equipment allowing manipulation of the device that is directly introduced to the fire to compress it and by this, stopping the combustion process. Simultaneously, the said extinguishing apparatus will inject a series of substances over the flames, drastically reducing temperature of the fire zone, avoiding reignition when the device collapses on the different interventions these have. The Main Lever of such network is originally built in to the transport equipment and one end will branch different tips which will form a net of smaller lever which will hang the TFI device. A tension cable will go across the upper part of the Main lever to bring more resistance and provide much more strength by preventing arcing of the lever when handling very heavy loads. A pipeline network that extends and is supported over and through the lever network, transports the cooling substances from the fluid deposits until the injecting sprinklers are arranged in the upper part of the attack devices.
Device for preventing the spread of forest fire
A forest fire spread prevention device as an automatic fire extinguishing device for a forest fire may suppress an occurrence of property loss and loss of lives by blocking the forest fire in the middle so that it does not spread to nearby private houses when a forest fire occurs. The forest fire spread prevention device can include a burlap bag-shaped outer skin member which is woven with a thermoplastic plastic tape having a melting point of 160 to 280? C. as a weft and a warp; and an inner skin member of a cylindrical container which is accommodated in the outer skin member and formed in a film shape prepared by extruding a thermoplastic plastic material having a thickness of 15 to 50 microns and a melting point of 110 to 130? C. in a cylindrical shape, and has an inner space filled with water.
Fire spread-limiting assembly and fire spread-limiting method
The present disclosure concerns a fire spread-limiting assembly comprising a heat resistant covering; and a cooling fluid circulation assembly comprising: a cooling fluid source integrated to the heat resistant covering, one or more flexible fluid lines being part of the heat resistant covering, and a pump fluidly connected to said one or more flexible fluid lines and to the cooling fluid source and configured to circulate the cooling fluid within said one or more flexible fluid lines upon actuation. There is also disclosed a method for limiting a spread of a fire.
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) controlled netting system and method thereof
Systems and methods are provided for controlling a netting by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). A mesh netting includes a plurality of nettings arranged as interspersed layers in a mesh form. Each of the plurality of nettings has fire-resistant property. Further, a battery powered UAV is present at an aerial location. The mesh netting is coupled to the UAV such that the UAV maintains the mesh netting afloat and adjusts at a position such that a particular source of flying embers is covered with the mesh netting. Also, a lifting kite coupled to the UAV at one end and attached to the mesh netting at another end is provided. The lifting kite carries and holds the mesh netting aloft when the UAV brings the lifting kite at an aloft position such that a particular source is covered with the mesh netting.
Concertina Smoke or Fire Barrier
A concertina smoke or fire barrier comprising a curtain having a plurality of concertina-fold curtain webs and a plurality of concertina flanges. The flanges extend from a stitching joint between each adjacent pair of curtain webs. Normally closed door opening in the curtain, the door opening being provided by a slit extending through several of curtain webs and their flanges. Cuts in the flanges adjacent to the slit allow flange portions between the slit and the cuts to be stitched against their webs. A strip of curtain web material is stitched to the curtain webs on one side of the slit for covering it when the door opening is closed. Hook and loop fastening tape is located on both sides of the slit, one piece of the tape being stitched to the strip and another complementary piece being stitched to the curtain webs to the other side of the slit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FIRE SUPPRESSION VIA ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
A system and method for fire suppression via artificial intelligence having an artificial intelligence (Al) enabled computer command system connected to a network defining a community. The AI enabled computer connected to a plurality of sensors in the community, both stationary and mobile. The sensors communicate data to the system, indicating possible wildfire activity. The system via machine learning and AI techniques dispatches drones with fire suppression technology to locations where wildfire activity is present. The system further provides a method for predicting wildfire spreading locations, as well as a method for suppressing spot fires and protecting homes downwind from a wildfire.
RAPID DEPLOY METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING A BUILDING AGAINST DAMAGE BY AN APPROACHING WILDFIRE
A rapid deploy method and system fir protecting a building against damage by an approaching wildfire includes rapidly deploying a durable ember-resistant cover over at least a portion of the building as wildfire approaches, and optionally deploying a temporary fire-suppression wall, configured to stop or deflect or slow winds, and reduce heat and repel embers of an approaching wildlife. Advantageously, the durable fire-suppression wall, optionally built with a number of mobile wall sub-units, is designed to be transported by a single user. Each mobile wall sub-unit optionally includes a vertical wall section and a flared base section designed to provide a solid base and hold an internal tank configured to store a fire-suppression substance. A spray assembly positioned on each sub-unit is designed to spray the fire-suppression substance. The over-the-building cover, optionally comprised of stainless-steel wire mesh fabric, may be placed over the building without contemporaneous wall deployment if exigent circumstances.
