A longitudinal translatable seal includes a first compartment extending in a longitudinal direction; a second compartment extending in the longitudinal direction forming a sealing surface with the first compartment; and a carriage translatable longitudinally with respect to the sealing surface, and a port in the carriage to fluidly connect a first side of the seal with a second side of the seal.

The invention relates to an emergency seal 20 intended to be used on a watercraft 18. The emergency seal comprises a radially inner surface 22 suitable for resting on the radially outer surface 52 of a drive shaft 50 and a radially outer surface 24 suitable for being subjected to the action of a pressure fluid. The emergency seal also has a constant cross section along its own circumferential development. The cross section comprises a main solid portion 26 from which two appendices 28 depart, which have a mainly outward radial development. The radially inner surface comprises at least two sealing prominences 32, and the emergency seal is made of an elastomeric material. The invention also relates to a seal assembly 200 and a sealing package 220 comprising the emergency seal.

The sealing ring according to this aspect further includes a secondary seal coupled to at least one of the inside diameter face, the outside diameter face, the primary seal side face or the gland side face.

A tool storage includes a tool magazine, a magazine mover, and a storage device cover. The tool magazine includes a plurality of tool holding members which are provided in the tool magazine and which are configured to hold a tool. The magazine mover is provided outside the tool magazine and is configured to move the tool magazine in a moving direction between an exchange position at which the tool is exchanged and a storage position at which the tool is stored. The storage device cover is provided to arrange the tool magazine and the magazine mover in the tool storage. The plurality of tool holding members are arranged in the moving direction.

Drive shaft axle seal for performance testing of transmissions

The present disclosure relates to a fluid seal to prevent fluid and lubricant loss during automotive transmission testing. The fluid seal may be disposed on a surface of an axle shaft such that a variety of transmissions may be evaluated without replacement of the axle shaft, a laborious and ergonomically stressful task. Moreover, the fluid seal may be disposed on a standard collar of the axle shaft for interaction with an internal surface of a transmission coupler.
