ROTARY VALVES FOR MANAGING FLUID FLOWS IN MEDICAL SYSTEMS
In one aspect, a valve includes a valve body rotatable about a central axis of the valve body, an interior channel adjacent the valve body for permitting a fluid to flow through an axial opening of the interior channel, and a plug within the interior channel that is movable between a first axial position at the axial opening and a second axial position spaced apart from the axial opening. In the first axial position, the plug closes the axial opening to prevent the fluid from flowing through the axial opening in a first direction and to prevent the fluid from flowing through the axial opening in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction. In the second axial position, the plug permits the fluid to flow through the axial opening into the interior channel in the first direction.
VAPORIZER HAVING ONE-WAY AIRFLOW VALVE AND ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES HAVING THE SAME
Present disclosure relates to a one-way airflow valve and electronic cigarettes having the one-way airflow valve. In certain embodiments, the electronic cigarette includes: a mouthpiece assembly, an E-liquid storage tank for storing E-liquid, a vaporizer assembly having a one-way airflow valve, an electric power connector for receiving electric power, and a condensed E-liquid vapor collection slot for collecting condensed E-liquid vapor to be reused. The mouthpiece assembly and vaporizer assembly form an airflow path. When user connects electric power source to the electric power connector, and sucks electronic cigarette through a mouthpiece, air pressure inside electronic cigarette is reduced which creates air pressure difference, such air pressure difference pushes a one-way airflow blocker upwards to open airflow path, and when user stops sucking, one-way airflow blocker returns to a first position under resilient force of the one-way airflow valve spring to close the airflow path.
Modular (glue-) valve
A modular valve for free-flowing media, with a main module with a valve housing and an electromagnet, a dosing module with a closure member which is movable by means of the electromagnet and which closes a dispensing opening of the dosing module, and a valve lift adjustment module for adjusting the valve lift, which valve lift adjustment module comprises an elongate abutment part which is arranged at least in part in a valve interior of the main module and is modifiable in its axial position in the valve interior, which abutment part limits the movement of the closure member in the direction of the valve lift adjustment module, the dosing module and the valve lift adjustment module being connected releasably to the main module in such a way that the dosing module and the valve lift adjustment module can each be replaced by another module of the same module type.

Fluid Distributor
An in-line fluid distributor having either or both manual and remote control capability is disclosed. The fluid distributor integrates several typically separated components into a single sealed unit that incorporates a plurality of uni- and bi-directional input and output ports. By integrating the fluid distribution and control components into an integral single device, problems relating to size, system and connection leakage, maintenance, and accessibility are largely reduced or eliminated. The fluid distributor has limited number of components thereby simplifying manufacture and potential repair. By design the fluid distributor may be used for the controlled distribution of any fluid, whether liquid or gas.
Valve device
Examples disclosed herein relate to conduits, devices, systems and methods, which may include a dispensing device including a valve configured to interact with an inlet stream, the inlet stream having a first pressure, the valve having an outlet area with an outlet stream, the outlet stream having a second pressure; and a solenoid configured to interact with the outlet stream.

Hydraulic Unit and Control Units for Hydraulic Brake Systems
In a hydraulic unit, which is for a hydraulic brake system, that has a hydraulic block and at least one valve device, the valve device includes a hydraulic cartridge with a valve seat and with a movable closing body for blocking and opening the valve seat, and a magnet assembly with a magnet coil for generating a magnetic force for moving the closing body. The magnet assembly is integrated into the hydraulic block, and the valve device has a permanent magnet in order to assist the movement of the closing body by means of magnetic force.
RECIPROCATING PUMP
At least one rib 9c, 21c extending in a direction of connecting with a valve cartridge 30 is provided to the inner sides of each of a second connection port 9 of a pump head 5 and a third connection port 21 of a first connecting adapter 20A, and at least one slit 41 which extends in the connecting direction and into which the ribs 9c, 21c are loosely inserted is provided to the lower outer periphery of the valve cartridge 30. The relationship (id2b, id3b)>od1t>(id1, id4)>od2>(id2t, )>od1b is satisfied, where the inside diameter of a first connection port 8 is id1, the inside diameter of the second connection port 9 is id2b , the inscribed diameter at the top of the rib 9c of the second connection port 9 is id2t, the inside diameter of the third connection port 21 is id3b , the inscribed diameter at the top of the rib 21c of the third connection port 21 is id3, the inside diameter of a fourth connection port 23 is id4, the outside diameter of the upper outer periphery of the valve cartridge 30 is od1t, the outside diameter of the bottom of the slit 41 at the lower outer periphery is od1b , and the outside diameter of the upper outer periphery of the valve cartridge 30 is od2.
Check valve for use with super absorbent polymer
A check valve formed from a body having inlet and outlet interior chambers with the outlet chamber functioning as a diffuser when assisting in the arrest of reverse water flow. A seat base is positioned between the inlet and outlet chambers with a tubular sleeve for housing a stem having a lip positioned along one end and a threaded opposite end secured within the inlet chamber. A spring fits around the stem and a sphere is secured to the threaded end of the stem for engaging the seat base. Movement of the sphere away from the inlet chamber allows dry polymer to pass when the spring is compressed. Upon loss of force capable of moving the sphere away from the inlet chamber, relaxation of the spring allows the sphere to engage the seat base with an attached grommet before water can flow backwards into the interior chamber.
