Valve for a Faucet Assembly
The valve has a pair of mutually rotatable ceramic valve bodies within the bonnet that cooperate to allow a flow of water in one relative position and to block a flow of water in a second relative position. One valve body is engaged by the valve stem to rotate therewith while the second valve body is held fixed within the bonnet via radial projections that fit into recesses in the bonnet. An elastomeric ring of square cross-section is squeezed against the non-rotatable valve body by a spiral retaining ring that is positioned in a circumferential groove in the bonnet.
CONTROL VALVE FOR FAUCET
A control valve for faucet may comprise a control valve, a balancing valve, a water outlet unit, and a faucet body. A lower end of the control valve has a water inlet chamber and a water outlet chamber, and the balancing valve secured inside the water inlet chamber comprises a first shell and a second shell which are formed symmetrically and are configured to fit together to secure a pressure regulator therein. The water outlet unit secured inside the water outlet chamber has a first through hole, and a lower end thereof comprises a lower sealing ring which covers around a lower edge of the water outlet chamber. When control valve connected to the faucet body, the lower sealing ring only will be pressed downwardly instead of being twisted thereby reducing the possibility of damage or deformation and improving the strength of structure and the leakproof effect.
MISOPERATION PREVENTION STRUCTURE OF TWO-HANDLE FAUCET
A misoperation prevention structure of a two-handle faucet includes a faucet spout and two switching valves for controlling water to be delivered to the faucet spout. At least one of the two switching valves is equipped with a misoperation prevention mechanism. The misoperation prevention mechanism is configured to restrict the rotation of the handle of the switching valve and to release the restriction on the rotation of the handle of the switching valve. With the misoperation prevention mechanism, the switching valve won't be opened by mistake, thereby avoiding a waste of water resources and improving the safety of use.
Mixing valve
A plumbing fitting includes a housing and a missing valve. The housing includes a first aperture, a second aperture, a third aperture, and a mixing chamber in fluid communication with the first aperture, the second aperture, and the third aperture. The mixing valve is disposed within the housing. The mixing valve includes a first flow control valve that is configured to control a first flow of fluid from the first aperture to the mixing chamber.
Faucet Assembly Including a Thermostatic Mixing Cartridge
A faucet assembly including a faucet body having a spout, a base, and hot and cold water flow control valves. The base houses a thermostatic mixing cartridge that tempers hot and cold water and has passageways that place tempered water from the thermostatic mixing cartridge and a cold water passageway in selective fluid communication with the outlet of the spout. During use, mixed water from the thermostatic mixing cartridge is regulated by the hot water control valve, cold water is regulated by the cold water control valve, and both the mixed water and the cold water are further mixed at a juncture of the mixed water passageway and the cold water passageway prior to exiting the faucet assembly via the outlet of the spout.
WALL FAUCET
The present invention provides a wall faucet including: an injection molded plastic faucet body defining a hot water inlet, a cold water inlet, at least one water outlet and a receiving chamber; a valve cartridge seat having two one-way valves accommodated therein suitably and a valve cartridge received in the receiving chamber; and a plate sleeve detachably assembled to the faucet body. The hot water inlet and/or the cold water inlet is formed with a body connector detachably assembled thereto. In the wall faucet of the present invention, the body connector is detachably assembled to the hot water inlet and/or the cold water inlet of the faucet body and, therefore, the body connector can be changed quickly and easily.
HOT WATER DELIVERY
A domestic pipe system for delivery of hot water includes hot water source (10) and a piping to a faucet (12). The piping comprises a splitter (14), two pipes (20, 22) and a controller (16), the controller having a housing, first and second inlets (24, 26), an outlet (28), and a thermally actuated valve. The first inlet is a permanently open inlet whereas the second inlet is opened depending on the temperature of water arriving at the controller. Stagnant water that cooled down only runs through the first pipe (20) until the temperature exceeds a preset threshold. Than the controller (16) opens the second inlet such that the stagnant cold water from the second pipe can be mixed gradually with the hot water from the first pipe. Thus, the user receives warm water earlier than if both pipes need to be emptied.
PRESSURE BALANCE VALVE WITH REVERSIBLE CHECK STOPS
Disclosed herein is a valve assembly. The valve assembly includes a valve body, a cartridge, a hot side check stop, and a cold side check stop. The valve body has a cartridge receiving area, a first check stop receiving area, and a second check stop receiving area. The cartridge is located in the cartridge receiving area. The hot side check stop is located in the first check stop receiving area when the valve assembly is in a first configuration. The cold side check stop is located in the second check stop receiving area when the valve assembly is in the first configuration. When the valve assembly is in a second configuration, the hot side check stop is located in the second check stop receiving area and the cold side check stop is located in the first check stop receiving area.
Tap group
A tap group comprising a tap body provided with at least one dispensing exit, an operating lever or knob, a regulation member of the parameters of the flow of water to be dispensed (the parameters including the temperature and/or the flow of water and/or the direction of the flow), and a transmission including gears which operatively connect the operating lever or knob to said regulation member of the flow of water. Advantageously, the gears create a gear ratio between the operating lever or knob and a control rod of the regulation member of the parameters of the flow of water, so as to reduce the rotation of the control rod of the regulation member for the same rotation of the operating lever or knob. The tap group also includes a ring-nut provided with at least one indicator and/or a reference index of the parameters of the flow to be dispensed.
System and method to detect and communicate faucet valve position
A faucet configured for touchless actuation that includes a spout; a mechanical valve configured to move between an open state and a closed state and having a member radially movable between an open position and a closed position in response to operation of the mechanical valve between the open state and the closed state; an electronic valve configured to move between an open state and a closed state; and a system configured to detect and communicate a state of the faucet in response to the position of the member.
