Battery Shell, Traction Battery, Motor Vehicle, and Method for Manufacturing a Battery Shell
A battery shell, in particular, a battery shell for a traction battery of a motor vehicle, comprises a semi-permeable membrane that is integrally bonded or frictionally connected to the battery shell.
Quick-release cover for air release valve
The problem of disassembling an air release valve in the field by removing the valve cover to remove the internal working components is solved by a quick release mechanism on the valve cover that can be operated by hand. The quick release mechanism can include a radially tapered groove with tapered parallel tracks that define a slot in the valve cover and a guide on the valve body that engages with the tracks through the slot. The guide can be inserted into a socket in the radially tapered groove and a shoulder piece on the guide can slide on the tapered parallel tracks, which brings the valve cover towards the valve body. An O-ring and a U-cup seal arranged in recesses in the valve body can be compressed by the valve body cover to form airtight seals and the shoulder piece can be lodged in a locking pocket to keep the valve cover in place.
Vent valve for an inner floating roof
A vent valve includes an outer frame, a ventilation box movable in the outer frame, a sealing cover, a buoyant box and elongate sliding members. The ventilation box has an interior space. The sealing cover has a cover opening, and closes/opens a surrounding space defined by the ventilation box and the outer frame. The buoyant box is disposed within the interior space. When the buoyant box abuts the sealing cover and closes the cover opening, the cover opening is disconnected from the interior space. When the buoyant box moves away from the sealing cover, the interior space communicates the cover opening. The sliding members slidingly contact the outer frame and ventilation box to guide sliding movements.
ONE PIECE VENT
A one piece vent formed from one integral piece of material, such as Aluminum, and which defines a fluid pathway therethrough having a borehole within said fluid pathway, and further including a groove that retains a roto clip therein so as to secure a ball and a float within an interior of the vent, the float movable between a sealing position on said borehole and an unsealed position away from said borehole.
Methods of protecting vent/drain features in electronic assemblies
A vent/drain cover for an electronics enclosure includes a cover body defining an axis and a surface with a first wall protruding from the surface in a direction and a second wall protruding from the surface in the same direction but displaced radially from the first wall. The first wall has a first channel formed therein that is defined by a portion of the first wall that does not extend as far from the surface as the balance of the first wall. The second wall has a second channel defined by a portion of the second wall that does not extend as far from the surface as the balance of the second wall, the first channel being circumferentially offset from the second channel. Electronics enclosures and methods of venting electronics assemblies are also described.

PNEUMATIC DEVICE WITH SEALING MEANS AND METHOD THEREFOR
A pneumatic device (1) has at least one venting path (10) for venting the pneumatic device (1) in an outflow direction (R1). The venting path (10) includes a first volume (12), through which a flow can pass, a first compressed-air passage (14), and a sealing mechanism (18). The first compressed-air passage (14) pneumatically connects the first volume (12) to a pressurized part (16) of the pneumatic device (1). The sealing mechanism (18) changes between a normal state (Z1) and a sealing state (Z2). In the normal state (Z1) a flow can pass through the first compressed-air passage (14) both in the outflow direction (R1) and in an oppositely directed inflow direction (R2). In the sealing state (Z2) a flow can pass through the first compressed-air passage (14) only in the outflow direction (R1).
FLOAT VALVE, COMPRESSED-AIR SYSTEM HAVING A FLOAT VALVE, AND DRIER FOR A COMPRESSED-AIR SYSTEM HAVING A FLOAT VALVE
A float valve, in particular for draining condensate in a medical compressed-air system, including: a float; a valve seat, which defines a valve opening having a valve opening cross-sectional area q.sub.A; and a closure element for opening and closing the valve opening cross-sectional area q.sub.A of the valve opening. The closure element can be controlled by means of the float between a completely open position X and a completely closed position Y. The closure element is elastic and is part of a partial opening mechanism, which is designed to successively open the valve opening cross-sectional area q.sub.A of the valve opening between the completely closed position Y and the completely open position X as a result of the elasticity of the closure element.
PURGE VALVE FOR AN AIR-DRYING DEVICE AND AIR-DRYING DEVICE AND PRESSURIZED AIR-BASED SYSTEM AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
A purge valve with an integrated safety function, suitable for an air-drying device. In the purge valve a purge-valve body forms a first exhaust passage for connecting an inlet line to an outlet line. A purge-valve piston is arranged inside the purge-valve body to control a flow of exhaust air through the first exhaust passage upon reception of a purge signal. The purge-valve piston comprises a through opening being configured to form a second exhaust passage for connecting the inlet line to the outlet line. A valve member is arranged in the through opening and is configured to control a flow of exhaust air through the second exhaust passage. The valve member is configured to be actuated by pressurized air when a pressure value in the inlet line exceeds a threshold actuation pressure.
