A gate valve for controlling a flow of a fluid. The gate valve includes a valve body with a first seat pocket and a flow bore, a gate which is movable so as to intersect the flow bore, a seat with a gate end and a body end, a plate with an opening which is positionable on the seat at the gate end, and a plate retainer which is positionable between the seat and the plate so as to prevent an axial movement between the seat and the plate with respect to an axis of the flow bore. The flow bore extends through the valve body for the flow of the fluid. The gate end is arranged to face the gate, and the body end is positionable within the first seat pocket of the valve body.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FIRE-RESISTANT PART OF AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND PART PRODUCED BY SUCH A METHOD

Method for manufacturing a fire-resistant part of an air conditioning system for an air or rail transport vehicle, characterized in that it includes at least the following steps: a step of obtaining a part including at least one aluminum alloy surface portion, and a step of treating the aluminum alloy surface portion by use of micro-arc oxidation in order to produce a ceramic coating on the surface portion.

Valve device, fluid control device, fluid control method, semiconductor manufacturing apparatus, and semiconductor manufacturing method

A valve device includes a valve body; a cylindrical member provided in an accommodation recess and communicating with the first flow path; a valve seat supported by the cylindrical member; a seal member interposed between the periphery of the opening of first flow path on the bottom surface of the accommodation recess and the lower end portion of the cylindrical member; an annular plate which is flexible, air-tightly or liquid-tightly fixed to an annular support portion formed on the inner peripheral surface of the accommodation recess, air-tightly or liquid-tightly fixed to an annular support portion formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member and has a plurality of openings communicating with the second flow path; and a diaphragm that moves between an open position at which the diaphragm does not contact the valve seat and a closed position at which the diaphragm contacts the valve seat.

Wellbore system, a member and method of making same

A member that is a single element for controlling flow through an inflow control device, has anisotropic density configured to move the member relative to the inflow control device such that the inflow control device allows, fully blocks, or partially blocks flow from a zone to a production string based on a density of a fluid flowing into the inflow control device from the zone.

PRESSURE-REDUCING VALVE, VALVE UNIT, VALVE DEVICE, AND LEAF SPRING

This pressure-reducing valve includes: a casing in which a valve passage is formed; a valve body that is movably housed in the casing and changes a position thereof according to a secondary pressure to adjust an opening degree of the valve passage; and a biasing member that biases the valve body against the secondary pressure in an opening direction in which the valve passage opens. The biasing member is a spring in the form of a plate and extends laterally from the valve body.

Valve seats for use in fracturing pumps
11585455 · 2023-02-21 · ·

A valve assembly for use in a fracturing pump including a valve member movable into and out of engagement with a valve seat body. The valve seat body includes an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface forming a fluid bore extending between a first end and a second end of the valve seat body. The body further includes a seating surface extending radially from the inner surface and facing the valve member, the seating surface having a recessed area. An insert is disposed in the recessed area forming at least a portion of the inner surface and at least portion of the seating surface. The valve seat body first end has a diameter different from a diameter valve seat body second. The difference between diameters allows the valve seat body outer surface to be supported by the fluid passageway.

Valve plug

A plug for a fluid valve has a stem extending along an axis between a first end and a second end, a tip secured to the first end of the stem, a plug body mounted to the stem toward the second end relative to the tip, and a valve seat between the tip and the plug body. The valve seat has a sealing surface that extends past an outer perimeter of the tip and is sized to engage a valve ring of the fluid valve, the valve seat defining an annular space that permits radial movement of the valve ring relative to the axis of the stem to align with the valve ring as pressure is applied to the valve seat.

Choke with single crystal flow conduits

A choke includes a cage having a plurality of openings extending therethrough, a first fluid port and a second fluid port, the openings in the cage fluidly interposed between the first and second fluid ports, and a selectively positionable blocking member positioned with respect to the openings to selectively overlie all of a portion of the openings, wherein the surface of the opening extending through the cage are a single crystal material. The single crystal material may be provided as an insert, having an opening therethrough, secured in position with respect to the cage.

Bypass valve assembly for turbine generators

A bypass valve assembly for a turbine generator includes a valve body, bypass seats, valve stem, valve cap, bypass valve disc, bypass valves, and pressure seal head. The valve body defines a central bore and a plurality of passageways. Each passageway has an inlet smaller than its outlet. Each bypass seat is within the inlet of a corresponding passageway. The bypass seats have a higher wear resistance than the valve body. The valve stem is within the central bore. The valve cap is secured to the valve body. The bypass valve disc is secured to the valve stem. Each bypass valve has a base portion and a nose portion. Each nose portion defines a contoured surface area with a wear coating and extends into a corresponding passageway. The pressure seal head is disposed around the valve stem and defines steps having a wear coating.

Valve with pressure differential seating

A valve for use in oil and gas production or similar applications includes a plug or other flow barrier disposed in a cavity of a hollow valve body with a metal-to-metal sealing surface that is not reliant on any rubberized or elastomeric material to effect a seal.
