Pressure relief valve and method of relief valve opening detection

Systems and methods described herein provide for pressure relief valve detection and monitoring. A valve assembly includes a striker and an indicator assembly separated by a diaphragm. The diaphragm may be elastically or permanently deformable. The striker may be connected to a relieve valve disk that releases in response to high fluid pressure at the valve. Movement of the striker may be detected by contact with the diaphragm or by sensors near the diaphragm, which may trigger the indicator assembly to provide an external indication of a valve opening.

Standoff regulator

A standoff comprising a handle that is adjustably associated with a bracket, with the handle self-latching in relation to bracket at a desired position and at a desired quantifiable torque in relation to the bracket.

Butterfly valve

A butterfly valve includes a body and a gear box cover, the body having a fluid conduit and a gear platform supported on and over the fluid conduit, the gear platform configured to support a gear assembly for actuating a valve disk between an open position and a closed position, the gear box cover defining an internal cavity, the internal cavity sized to house the gear assembly, the gear box cover configured to be removably mounted to the platform such that the internal cavity is between the gear box cover and the platform.

BRACE HAVING AN INFLATION CONTROL

Systems, methods, and devices are described for providing a brace having an inflation control. The control directs fluid flow from an inflation component to one or more inflatable cells of the brace. The inflatable cells are independently inflated and deflated by the inflation component through the control. The control allows a user to create a fluid path between the inflation component and one of the inflatable cells by positioning the control in an orientation corresponding to the desired inflatable cells. Each inflatable cell is independently inflated and deflated in various orientations of the control.

Electric water diverter

The present disclosure provides an electric water diverter, which includes a controller, a brushless DC motor, a core and a T-shaped body. The controller is electrically connected to a fixed Hall PCB circuit board and the brushless DC motor in turn. The brushless DC motor has a rotating shaft detachably connected to the core via a connector, which is also embedded with a magnet cooperating with the Hall PCB circuit board. The Hall PCB circuit board obtains a relative position signal of the rotating shaft through Hall induction and feeds the relative position signal back to the controller. A user controls the brushless DC motor to perform phase rotation through the controller and drive the connector and the core to selectively rotate forward or backward relative to the T-shaped body. Thereby, stepless adjustment of water flow from water outlet is achieved.

LOCKOUT TAGOUT DEVICE AND VALVE
20230160496 · 2023-05-25 ·

A valve assembly including a valve housing and a handle that is movable about an actuation axis to actuate a valve actuator within the valve housing between an open position and a closed position. The handle has a first opening and the valve housing has a second opening. When the valve actuator is in the closed position the first opening aligns with the second opening to enable receipt of a lockout member that prevents movement of the valve actuator from the closed position to the open position.

TRAVEL FEEDBACK SYSTEM
20220325822 · 2022-10-13 ·

A linear feedback travel assembly includes a first tube end, a second tube end, and a longitudinal axis. A drive rod includes a first end and a second end, and a cam includes a first end, a second end, and a wall defining a bore, a first slot, and a second slot. The cam is movable along, and rotatable about, the longitudinal axis. A first pin is movably disposed in the first slot of the cam and is fixed relative to the first tube end. A second pin is movably disposed in the second slot of the cam and connects the drive rod to the cam. When the cam moves along the longitudinal axis, the first pin moves within the first slot and rotates the cam about the longitudinal axis. The second pin rotates the drive rod as the second pin moves within the second slot of the cam.

A device for indicating the position of a valve including a mechanical mechanism and output device. A related method for indicating the position of a valve including operatively connecting the device to a valve such as a manual valve. A mechanical mechanism for use with a valve is also described herein. An output device for use with a valve is also described herein.

Interchangeable orifice plate wellhead system

An interchangeable orifice wellhead system is disclosed which comprises a flow control valve comprised of a male union, a female union, a valve cap, and an orifice plate. The orifice plate can include a display tab, which visually communicates to the technician the size of orifice plate aperture. Orifice plates having different size apertures can be interchanged within the same flow control valve. In some embodiments, the male union of the flow control valve can be machined or interchanged with another male union to be used with different size orifice plates.

ADJUSTABLE ORIFICE VALVE
20170356553 · 2017-12-14 ·

An adjustable orifice valve system is disclosed which comprises an iris valve to control flow rate through the system, and a slide valve to prevent leaks through the system. Both valves can be adjusted through a gear train manually via a handle and/or automatically via a motor. When the iris valve is in a minimally open configuration, the gear train engages the slide valve to permit or disallow flow through the slide valve. When the iris valve is in a partially or maximally open configuration, an opening in the slide valve is aligned with the flow axis of the system to permit uninhibited flow through the slide valve. The position of the handle can indicate aperture size of the iris valve and/or position of the slide valve. In some embodiments, a pressure transducer and/or gear position sensor can provide determination of flow rate through the valve system.
