Warning device for dangerous situations
When using oxygen gas pipes 3, situations can arise, in particular due to slag return and similar dangers, in which the operator must initiate safety measures. Slag return safety devices are known which, in such a case, ensure that the gas flow is stopped by melting a cap 35 of a heat sensor 5. The response of this outlet valve 6 of the slag return safety device can be recognized, for example, by the fact that the inlet pressure of the existing oxygen gas 4 is used to push pins 21 located in the wall 19 of the oxygen gas pipe 3 beyond the outside 27 of the oxygen gas pipe 3, so that they cannot be overlooked as a warning signal. The movement of the pins 21 can be used to activate further signal systems 30 in order to provide additional indications of this movement optically and/or acoustically.
KIT FOR MOUNTING A VALVE POSITION INDICATOR TO A VALVE
A valve position indicator mounting kit and method for mounting a valve position indicator to a manually operated valve. The mounting kit includes a mounting bracket and a stop plate assembly. The mounting bracket is connectable to the valve and has a bottom portion with a stem aperture through which a valve stem is extendable and being configured to be matingly engageable with the valve body. The mounting bracket has an upper portion with a shaft aperture. The locking plate assembly has a base portion matingly engaged with the valve stem and a shaft connection portion mounted to the top portion of the mounting bracket assembly and having a shaft matingly engaged with the shaft connecting portion of the locking plate assembly in a way that rotation of the valve stem via the handle causes the shaft to rotate.
FAIL-SAFE DRIVE AND ACTUATING DRIVE WITH A FAIL-SAFE DRIVE
A fail-safe drive (1) for an actuating drive is provided, which has a cam disc (8), at least one restoring element, a counter-element (5) and an output shaft (3), with the cam disc (8) and the counter-element (5) being configured for joint conversion of an axial movement of the restoring element along the output shaft (3) into a rotational movement of the output shaft (3). The cam disc (8) has a control cam (10), the profile of which is adapted to a spring characteristic curve of the restoring element such that, in the case of activation of the failsafe drive (1), a constant output movement and/or a constant output torque can be generated.
Butterfly Valve
A butterfly valve includes a body, a gear assembly, a shaft, a Scotch yoke actuator on the shaft, and a gear box cover. The body has a fluid conduit and a gear platform supported on and over the fluid conduit. The shaft passes through the gear platform. The gear assembly is supported on the gear platform and includes a valve stem with a first threaded portion and includes a pin nut with a second threaded portion engaging the first threaded portion. The Scotch yoke actuator engages the pin nut. The gear box cover defines an internal cavity sized to house the gear assembly.
PINCH VALVE
A pinch valve 1 comprises a tube body 3 made of an elastic material having a cylindrically shaped tube main body 31 and annular flange parts 32 provided on the two ends of the tube main body 31 and having a flow path formed inside and a holding member 20 formed as a single piece and able to accommodate the tube body 3, wherein at least one of the flange parts 32 protrudes radially outward at an end part of the tube main body 31 via a curved part 33, at the curved part 33, a first curved surface part 33ais provided at the outside of the tube body 3 and a second curved surface part 33bis provided at the inside of the tube body 3, and in a cross section taken along a center axis of the tube body, a largest radius of curvature R1 is formed smaller than the largest curvature of radius R2 at the second curved part 33b.
Air vent dial for automobile
An air vent dial for an automobile includes an air vent housing having an air path and a damper for opening or closing the air path; a dial housing provided in the air vent housing and having an opening and holding projections; and a dial assembly having a dial knob to be fitted into the opening and a rear fixing plate connected to the damper through a link member to control the opening and closing degrees of the damper. The dial housing has the holding projections at positions corresponding to opening and closing positions of the damper. The dial assembly has a dial elongated hole and fixing projection projecting inwards and contacting the holding projections while being guided and moving along the rear outer peripheral surface of the dial housing at outside of the rear fixing plate having the dial elongated hole.
Brace having an inflation control
Systems, methods, and devices are described for providing a brace having an inflation control. The control directs fluid flow from an inflation component to one or more inflatable cells of the brace. The inflatable cells are independently inflated and deflated by the inflation component through the control. The control allows a user to create a fluid path between the inflation component and one of the inflatable cells by positioning the control in an orientation corresponding to the desired inflatable cells. Each inflatable cell is independently inflated and deflated in various orientations of the control.
Valve Indicator and Related Methods
A device for indicating the position of a valve including a mechanical mechanism and output device. A related method for indicating the position of a valve including operatively connecting the device to a valve such as a manual valve. A mechanical mechanism for use with a valve is also described herein. An output device for use with a valve is also described herein.
Attenuating device for valve assembly
An attenuating device that is configured to replace motion converters in conventional control valve assemblies. The attenuating device can generate an output displacement in response to a position of a plug relative to a seat in the valve assembly. In one embodiment, the attenuating device comprises a spring assembly with a pair of spring members, disposed in series, and configured to assume a deflection that reduces the displacement of the plug to a smaller displacement that is useful to position a target member of a sensor. This embodiment, however, forgoes the mechanisms of conventional devices in lieu of components that are amenable to compact design. In this way, the attenuating device can substantially fit within the existing structure of the valve assembly, and, in one construction, the attenuating device is disposed in the actuator of the valve assembly.
Tap group
A tap group comprising a tap body provided with at least one dispensing exit, an operating lever or knob, a regulation member of the parameters of the flow of water to be dispensed (the parameters including the temperature and/or the flow of water and/or the direction of the flow), and a transmission including gears which operatively connect the operating lever or knob to said regulation member of the flow of water. Advantageously, the gears create a gear ratio between the operating lever or knob and a control rod of the regulation member of the parameters of the flow of water, so as to reduce the rotation of the control rod of the regulation member for the same rotation of the operating lever or knob. The tap group also includes a ring-nut provided with at least one indicator and/or a reference index of the parameters of the flow to be dispensed.
