Horizontal connector system and method
An apparatus includes a flowline connector having an inboard pipe and an outboard assembly. The outboard assembly includes a frame and an outboard pipe moveable within the frame to allow the outboard pipe to be moved toward the inboard pipe. The outboard assembly also includes a profile pipe in which the outboard pipe is received, and the profile pipe and the outboard pipe are connected to move together. The profile pipe includes at least one guide to change pitch or yaw of the outboard pipe to direct the outboard pipe toward alignment with the inboard pipe as the outboard pipe is moved within the frame toward the inboard pipe. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

Pressure-energized probe seal for female hydraulic coupling member
A probe seal for a female hydraulic coupling member has both internal and external pressure-energized seals. The outer wall or opposing ends of the seal have one or more pressure-energized seals for sealing between the body of the probe seal and the body of a coupling member in which the probe seal is installed. Annular, L-shaped, T-shaped or angled grooves in the inner wall of the seal form cavities and sealing projections that can be urged in an inward, radial direction by fluid pressure within an associated cavity to increase the sealing effectiveness between the body of the seal and the probe of a male hydraulic coupling member inserted in the receiving chamber of the female coupling member.

A SAVER SUB FOR A CONNECTION SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF INSTALLING SUCH A SAVER SUB
The present invention relates to a subsea fluid flow tubular connection system with an inboard hub in fluid connection with piping of a sub sea hydrocarbon exploration or production system and an outboard hub. The sub sea fluid flow tubular connection system comprise a tubular saver sub with an inboard hub connecting portion in sealing contact with the inboard hub at a first end and an outboard hub connecting portion in sealing contact with the outboard hub at a second end. A method of installing and exchanging such a tubular saver sub is also disclosed.

Non-invasive pipeline pig signal using vibration sensors
A system and method for detecting passage of a pipeline pig, the system and method including a passive impulse detector [10] having a housing [13]; a non-intrusive connection [15] of the housing to an exterior wall [17] of a pipeline [P], at least one vibration sensor [11] housed by the housing; and signal processing [23] including at least one band pass filter [27] configured to receive data collected by the vibration sensor, the vibration sensor and band pass filter configured to monitor frequencies in a predetermined range indicating the impulse. The selected frequencies should be those more easily detectable above the baseline (signature or natural resonance) frequency of the section of pipeline being monitored. In some embodiments, the selected frequencies are lower frequencies. No portion of the passive pipeline pig signal intrudes into an interior of the pipeline.

High pressure jumper manifold
A jumper manifold for use in a fracing system including a first outlet interface for coupling to a first outlet line, a second outlet interface for coupling to a second outlet line, and an inlet interface for coupling to an inlet line carrying a slurry under pressure. A jumper, in a first configuration, couples the inlet interface with the first outlet interface for transporting slurry from the inlet line to the first outlet line while isolating the second outlet line. The jumper, in a second configuration, couples the inlet interface with the second outlet interface for transporting slurry from the inlet line to the second outlet line while isolating the first outlet line.
Device for facilitating pipeline repair
A device for winding a reinforcing strip onto a repair length on either side of a portion to be repaired of a pipe, including: a carriage bearing a reel holder and a reel, means for rotating the carriage around the pipe and for translating same along the longitudinal axis of the pipe so that the strip is wound around the pipe in the form of a helix, means for reversing the direction of translation movement of the carriage so that, at each change of direction, the carriage moves in a direction opposite to the previous one and a layer of reinforcing strip is wound around the pipe, overlapping the previous layer. The means for translating the carriage include a conveying chain and the reversing means are actuated automatically without the intervention of an operator.
