FIRE SUPPRESSION NOZZLE
A fire suppression apparatus is configured to spray a fire suppressant agent and includes a reservoir and a nozzle. The nozzle is fluidly coupled to the reservoir and includes an inlet aperture, an outlet aperture, a passageway, and a diverter. The passageway extends between the inlet aperture and the outlet aperture. The diverter is disposed within the passageway and includes multiple diverter passageways configured to receive the fire suppressant agent from an inner volume of the diverter and direct the fire suppressant agent towards an inner sidewall of the passageway.
FIRE PROTECTION FLOOR NOZZLE, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR FLOOR NOZZLE SPRAY SYSTEMS
A floor nozzle assembly and systems and methods thereof for delivering a fire suppressant foam to a protected area. The nozzle assembly has a body and deflector in contact with one another to form a plurality of passageways through which a fire suppressant flows. The deflector has a deflector flange and a plurality of projecting members in contact with the body to form the passageways. The nozzle assembly has one or more of the following: i) a radial outer portion at each projecting member having a plurality of curved edges with at least two different curvatures; ii) each passageway is formed by parallel planar sidewalls; iii) the projecting members extend radially over a majority radial length of the deflector flange; and/or iv) the deflector flange has, with respect to a horizontal, a surface at an angle that is less than a support surface of the nozzle body.

FOG-CLOUD GENERATING NOZZLE
A fog-cloud generating nozzle is disclosed. In one embodiment, a nozzle head having a fluid passageway is threadable coupled to a nozzle base. The nozzle base, which provides a threadable coupling to a water source, is disposed in fluid communication with the fluid passageway. An inner sleeve is rotationally disposed within the fluid passageway with bearing surfaces against the nozzle head and the nozzle base. Multiple discharge ports of the nozzle head and multiple discharge orifices of the inner sleeve cooperate to generate a fog-cloud having a magnified forward thrust component and enabled directional control.
