SNAP TOGETHER PIPE COUPLING ASSEMBLY
A pipe system for transporting liquid. The pipe system connects adjacent pipes and includes a pipe having a coupler cup formed in an end thereof. The coupler cup is configured for receiving and end of a second pipe therein. The pipe system includes a coupler cap adapted to snap onto the coupler cup. The coupler cap also has an opening for receiving the second pipe therethrough to couple the first pipe and the second pipe. A seal is disposed between the coupler cap and the coupler cup to provide a sealed pipe system.
Pipe Joint Restraint
A pipe restraint utilizes a wire grip about an exterior surface of a pipe section to be joined to another structure. The grip applies a gripping force to the pipe section to retain it from outward movement relative to the structure. Some embodiments utilize an internal surface of the structure to assist in applying a force through the grip to the exterior surface. Some embodiments utilize a separate gland to assist in applying force through the grip to the exterior surface. Still other embodiments direct forces through a flange on the structure to pull wires about the exterior surface of the pipe section.
GLAND ASSEMBLY
Example aspects of a gland assembly and a method for using a gland assembly are disclosed. The gland assembly can comprise a gland, the gland defining a gland bore; a joint restraint assembly comprising; a restraint base formed on the gland; a gripper disposed within the restraint base; and a spring comprising a retention tab and an engagement leg, the engagement leg configured to engage the gripper; and a gasket defining a recess, the retention tab configured to engage the recess.
PIPE CONNECTOR SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS
Systems, devices and methods for pipe connectors and associated components are disclosed. Features for no hub clamps, for locking mechanisms on no hub clamps, for tools for no hub clamps, and for gaskets are described. The gaskets may be hourglass-shaped or otherwise taper outward near the ends to facilitate assembly onto pipe ends and that compress inward when a clamp is secured over the gasket. The gaskets may reduce in circumference at the gasket ends upon contraction of the gasket by a clamp onto two pipe ends. The gaskets may include collapsible sections that collapse upon contraction of the gasket by a clamp onto two pipe ends. The gaskets may include wedges at the collapsible regions that extend axially and protrude into the channel.
TUBE CLAMP
A tube clamp may include a tube body, an abutting block, and a clamping member, and a pivot connecting portion is formed at a lateral edge of the tube body. A through hole penetrates through a lateral surface of the tube body, and each of two lateral edges of the through hole has a first locating protrude having a stepped surface. The abutting block is slidably installed in the through hole, and each of two lateral sides of the abutting block comprises a second locating protrude, and the two second locating protrudes are respectively coupled with the two first locating protrudes. The clamping member has a protruding portion and a pulling portion. Through pulling the pulling portion, the protruding portion is adapted to press the abutting block into an inner space of the tube body so as to achieve the clamping effect of the tube clamp.
RESTRAINED GASKET FOR PLASTIC PIPES
A gasket for preventing the separation of a pipe joint formed between plastic pipes such as pipes manufactured from PVC. The invention provides an internally restrained pipe joint including a bell with a substantially V-shaped annular groove. The annular groove includes a front radial wall and a rear radial wall and a gasket seated in the annular groove. The gasket includes an inner radial face, an opening defined by the inner radial face and an outer radial face with a front radial section located adjacent to the front radial wall of the annular groove and a rear radial section located adjacent to the rear radial wall of the annular groove. A plurality of toothed, rigid restraining segments is at least partially embedded in the gasket.
PLASTICS PIPELINE WITH A SUPPORT SLEEVE
The invention relates to a plastics pipeline comprising at least one pipeline end (1) and at least one support ring (2). It was the underlying object of the invention to improve a plastics pipeline of the type described at the outset in such a way that the support sleeve or the support ring (2) remains firmly connected to the pipeline even in the event of the plastics pipeline being stored in the presence of high air humidity and temperature. This object is achieved by virtue of the fact that the blow molded pipe section (1) runs through the support ring (2) and, as viewed radially, is pressed from the inside outward against the support ring (2), wherein the pipe section (1) engages around the support ring (2), such that the support ring (2), with its outer surface, and the pipe section (1), with its outer surface, are substantially in alignment.
Locking pipe joint device with indicator
A locking pipe joint assembly, device and method can employ a center body connector, one or more sealing elements, a shoe gland, an indicator ring and a retaining cap. In embodiments, a bolt element and a nut element are provided for securing the retaining cap to the center body connector and compressing a packing assembly therein.
Fitting for coupling to a pipe
A fitting for coupling to a pipe includes a sleeve for receiving the pipe and a sealing member to provide a seal between the sleeve and the pipe. A pressure ring acts on a pressure member through adjoining slanting contacting surfaces of the pressure ring and pressure member, respectively. The sealing member is configured to be displaced from the slanting contact surfaces to preserve the life of the seal.
