FLANGE BELT
20220333722 · 2022-10-20 ·

A flange belt has a flexible belt with a flexible metal insert sheathed within it that allows the flange belt to conform to a flanged joint when the flanged belt is wrapped around it. The flexible belt has a first longitudinal channel and a second longitudinal channel. A first band and a second band are sized to fit within the first longitudinal channel and the second longitudinal channel, respectively. The first band and the second band are used to hold the flexible belt on the flanged joint.

Clamping collar with retaining fingers

A tensioner may assist in coupling two pipe flanges. The tensioner may include a body and a piston. The body may include a central longitudinal axis, a pair of fastener holes extending through the body in a direction parallel to the central longitudinal axis, and a piston housing having an inner bore disposed about the central longitudinal axis. The piston housing may be provided between the pair of fastener holes. An axial end of the piston housing may define a distal end of the body. The piston may be at least partially disposed in the inner bore of the piston housing. The piston may be axially moveable parallel to the central longitudinal axis through an opening of the inner bore at the distal end of the body.

Method of coupling two pipes

A method of coupling two pipes includes fastening two coupling segments into an untightened configuration, the two coupling segments comprising a first segment and a second segment, the first segment comprising a first end and a second end distal to the first end, the second segment comprising a first end and a second end distal to the first end, wherein fastening the two coupling segments comprises: placing a pivot clip between the second end of the first segment and the first end of the second segment, the pivot clip configured to maintain a separation distance between the second end of the first segment and the first end of the second segment; and tightening a first tightening element to draw the second end of the first segment towards the first end of the second segment; and placing ends of the two pipes between the two coupling segments.

Steam deflector shield

Apparatus and method for shielding leakage from a flanged pipe coupling comprising: a housing having a front wall, a rear wall, and a top wall, the top wall depending downwardly to form side walls intermediate the front and rear walls thus forming a closure having a bottom which is open; wherein the housing contains an interior space in between the front and rear wall and below the top wall, the interior space shaped to fit around a flanged pipe coupling; and wherein the housing is shaped so as to prevent rotation of the apparatus with respect to the flanged pipe coupling.

Connecting apparatus for creating a connection between a measuring instrument/valve block and a pipeline

A connecting apparatus for creating a connection to a measuring instrument or to a valve block/valve with a measuring instrument, and a connection to a pipeline or to a metering orifice device installed in a pipeline comprises: a first connecting device that provides a sealing connection to the pipeline or to the metering orifice device with a first recess extending through in the longitudinal direction, and a second connecting device that provides a sealing connection to the measuring instrument or to the valve block/valve with a second recess extending through in the longitudinal direction. The first and second connecting devices are interconnected with sealing effect. The connecting unit is designed so that the sealing connection can be created solely by rotation of the connecting unit without rotating the first and second connecting devices.

The present invention relates to bolt and nut loosening prevention assemblies for preventing a bolt and a nut adapted to fix a first member and a second member to each other from loosening, including: loosening prevention members fitted to the bolt and the nut coupled to the first member and the second member, respectively; caps detachably coupled to the loosening prevention members, respectively, to prevent the loosening prevention members from rotating; and dual washers fixedly coupled to the insides of the loosening prevention members, respectively, to prevent the bolt and the nut from loosening.

CONNECTION METHOD AND AXIAL ALIGNMENT MECHANISM
20230167931 · 2023-06-01 ·

To make it possible to remove pipe members that are connected together by moving the pipe members in a radial direction, for example, without moving the pipe members in an axial direction, a pipe joint comprises a series of unit members each of which is rotatably connected to the adjacent one another and a fastener for connecting the unit members locating at both ends. A pair of the pipe members take a centering posture or a posture equivalent to the centering posture by engaging the flange portion of a pair of the pipe members with both axial sides of the unit members. A pair of the pipe members are connected together in the centering posture by connecting the unit members locating at both ends using the fastener so as to make the unit members in an annular state and by fastening the fastener.
