Hot swappable fracturing pump system
A system that permits fracturing pumps such as, for example, at least first and second fracturing pumps, each carried on a truck, to be connected to, and disconnected from, respective connection points on a fracturing manifold while fracturing fluid in the fracturing manifold is at pressure, in certain instances at or near fracturing pressure, and/or while other(s) of the fracturing pumps are being operated to pump fracturing fluid.
INSERT FITTING DEVICES, ASSEMBLIES AND COUPLINGS
Insertion fitting/coupler devices for coupling to a flowpath, and methods of using such insertion fitting/coupler devices, are disclosed. The insertion fitting/coupler devices include a coupler that includes a through hole and a stem portion. The insertion fitting/coupler devices also include a nut that includes a through hole, a rim and a body portion. The insertion fitting/coupler devices further include a body member that includes a through hole and an outer flange. The body member extends into the through hole of the coupler such that an end of the stem portion of the coupler engages the outer flange of the body member. An inner side of the body portion of the nut engages with an outer surface of the stem portion of the coupler such that the flange is secured between the rim of the coupler and the end of the stem portion of the coupler.
CONNECTION DEVICE
A connection device has a line portion having, at its end, a radially outwardly projecting abutment flange for abutting against a corresponding abutment flange of a further line portion which is to be coupled to the line portion, and a ring-segment chain comprising a plurality of ring segments connected to one another in a pivotable manner in a common ring plane, wherein the ring-segment ends which form the chain ends can be latched to one another to give a ring-form connection clamp. The invention is distinguished in that the line portion is designed in the form of a tubular connection stub with first thread means spaced apart axially from the abutment surface of its abutment flange and in that each ring segment has a radially inwardly projecting clamping flange and second thread means, which are spaced apart axially from said clamping flange and correspond to the first thread means.
Pipe coupling
A pipe coupling for connecting adjacent pipes. The pipe coupling has a connection type at each end that may be male or female. A female end may have an interior surface defining a receiving chamber. An interior circumferential groove is formed in the interior surface in which a band is seated. A plurality of rigid fingers is extends from the band into the receiving chamber. The receiving chamber receives a male end of an adjacent pipe, the male end having an exterior surface. An exterior circumferential groove is defined on the exterior surface to receive the plurality of rigid fingers. A variety of connection types and combinations are disclosed. The female end may define a sight window to permit viewing of the position of a male end of an adjacent pipe. The receiving chamber may have a reduced diameter proximate to the middle of the coupling to improve sealing.
PIPE CONNECTION JOINTS WITH FLEXIBLE FUNCTION
In one embodiment, pipe connection joints are constructed using two materials, a flexible material and a rigid material, which are fixedly attached to form a pipe connection joint that provides a few degrees of flex in order to allow for mis-alignment of pipe ends and to reduce stress at the joint. The flexible pipe connection joints are made in a variety of nominal angles, configurations, and sizes and each of the individual pipe connection joints can be flexed in any direction a few degrees from the nominal angle.
Hot Swappable Fracking Pump System
A pump connection point to a fracturing manifold includes a valve configured to isolate the fracturing manifold from an outside fluid source. A connector is attached to the valve opposite the well fracturing manifold. A guide is attached to the connector. The guide configured to align a fluid line to mate with the connector.
Reusable clamp with latch release arm for connecting conduit sections and associated methods
A reusable clamp for retaining conduit sections or sanitary fittings having circular flanges together includes two gland members movable between open and closed positions. The gland members include two handles projecting outwardly from the gland members and two sets of locking detents formed on a latch finger connected to one gland member and the outer periphery of the other gland member. The locking detents engage to prevent movement of the gland members away from the closed position until a latch release arm coupled to the latch finger is depressed towards one of the handles, which causes the locking detents to disengage from one another and enables re-opening of the clamp when desired. The latch release arm and one or more of the handles also include tie-receiving loops to prevent accidental opening of the clamp unless desired by the end user.
CONNECTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a connection device comprising a line portion (10) having, at its end, a radially outwardly projecting abutment flange (14) for butting against a corresponding abutment flange of a further line portion which is to be coupled to the line portion (10), and a ring-segment chain (42, 22, 38) comprising a plurality of ring segments (22, 38) connected to one another in a pivotable manner in a common ring plane, wherein the ring-segment ends which formed the chain ends can be latched to one another to give a ring-form connection clamp (42). The invention is distinguished in that the line portion is designed in the form of a tubular connection stub (10) with first thread means (16) spaced apart axially from the abutment surface (141) of its abutment flange (14), and in that each ring segment (22, 38) has a radially inwardly projecting clamping flange (24) and second thread means (26), which are spaced apart axially from said clamping flange and correspond with the first thread means (16).
ELECTRICAL ISOLATOR
An electrical isolator comprising: a first fluid-carrying member and a second fluid-carrying member spaced apart from said first fluid-carrying member; wherein said first fluid-carrying member has a first toothed surface and said second fluid-carrying member has a second toothed surface; wherein the electrical isolator further comprises: a fibre-reinforced polymer tube that overlaps both the first fluid-carrying member and the second fluid-carrying member and which contacts the first toothed surface in a first interface region of the fibre-reinforced polymer tube and which contacts the second toothed surface in a second interface region of the fibre-reinforced polymer tube; and a compression fitting arranged to bias the first interface region and the first toothed surface together.
Fluid conduit connection system with a double undercut clamp
A conduit connection system may have a first coupling connected to a first conduit. The first coupling may have a first undercut. The conduit connection system may also have a second coupling connected to a second conduit. The second coupling may have a second undercut. The conduit connection system may have a clamp. The clamp may have a first projection. The first projection may be configured to be received in the first undercut. The clamp may have a second projection. The second projection may be configured to be received in the second undercut. The conduit connection system may also include a connector. The connector may be configured to engage with the clamp to connect the first coupling and the second coupling.
