DELIVERY ASSEMBLY FOR CROP INPUT DELIVERY SYSTEM
A delivery assembly for a crop input delivery system. The delivery system includes a boom adapted to be supported at a proximal end from a mobile vehicle, the mobile vehicle holding a supply of the crop input, the boom supporting a conduit having a proximal end in fluid communication with the supply of crop input. The delivery system further includes a first coupler and a second coupler. The first coupler is supported on a distal end of the boom and is coupled to the conduit. The second coupler is in fluid communication with a storage tank disposed on the implement, the second coupler configured to fluidly couple with the first coupler. A clamping assembly releasably couples the first and second couplers in fluid engagement.
MICRO-CHANNEL CONNECTORS FOR MEDICAL DEVICE DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM
A decontamination system for a lumen device is provided. The decontamination system comprises a lumen device container and a sterilant fluid delivery device. The lumen device container defines a lumen device receiving area that includes a fluid connector in fluid communication with the lumen device receiving area. The sterilant fluid delivery device is configured to be in fluid communication with the fluid connector. In some embodiments, the fluid connector is configured to form a loose connection with a port of a lumen device to deliver sterilant fluid into the port and leak sterilant fluid onto an external surface of the port.
PIPE COUPLING
A pipe coupling for connecting adjacent pipes. The pipe coupling has a connection type at each end that may be male or female. A female end may have an interior surface defining a receiving chamber. An interior circumferential groove is formed in the interior surface in which a band is seated. A plurality of rigid fingers is extends from the band into the receiving chamber. The receiving chamber receives a male end of an adjacent pipe, the male end having an exterior surface. An exterior circumferential groove is defined on the exterior surface to receive the plurality of rigid fingers. A variety of connection types and combinations are disclosed. The female end may define a sight window to permit viewing of the position of a male end of an adjacent pipe. The receiving chamber may have a reduced diameter proximate to the middle of the coupling to improve sealing.
Connectors and methods for making and using the same
A connector comprises: a connector body comprising an inlet end and an outlet end with a bore extending therethrough, the connector body further comprising a leading end portion positioned at the inlet end and a threaded portion at the outlet end of the connector body and a connector main body portion positioned between the leading end portion and the threaded portion; a generally annular bearing case having a tapered surface positioned in the leading end portion of the connector body, the bearing case formed with at least one recess and wherein the tapered surface has a hollow portion therein and includes a bearing case axis; and at least one locking element positioned in the at least one recess of the bearing case and movable along the bearing case axis.
CONDUIT ASSEMBLY FOR SERVICE PORT OF AIR CONDITIONING UNIT
Apparatus includes a conduit assembly configured to be selectively connectable to a service port of an air conditioning unit. An actuator assembly is configured to selectively urge disconnection between the conduit assembly and the service port of the air conditioning unit. This is done in such a way that activation of the actuator assembly, in use, reduces, at least in part, an amount of inadvertent departure of a refrigerant flow from the conduit assembly and the service port while the actuator assembly, in use, disconnects the conduit assembly from the service port.
Collet securing device for joining two fluid lines and providing lateral support at the connection of the two fluid lines
A fluid line support system includes a fluid line and a collet having an insertion end and a thickened portion having a biased end. A fluid valve has a valve aperture that receives the insertion end of the collet. A collet securing device has a fluid line portion that engages the wall of the fluid line, wherein at least the fluid line portion encircles the wall and is slidably engaged with the wall to define a loose position and a securing position. A collet portion of the collet securing device engages the retaining portion of the fluid valve when in the securing position. When in the securing position, the fluid line portion engages the biased end of the collet, wherein the fluid line and collet portions bias the retaining portion and biased end toward one another such that the insertion end is positioned at a final insertion depth.
FLOW PATH MEMBER JOINING STRUCTURE AND COLUMN ATTACHING/DETACHING UNIT
In a flow path member joining structure for enabling a liquid to flow by attaching, to a first member having a first flow path, a second member having a second flow path and aligning the first flow path and the second flow path with each other, the first flow path is open toward a first end face of the first member, and an enlarged diameter portion whose inner diameter gradually increases toward the first end face is formed at an end of the first flow path, and the second flow path is open toward a second end face of the second member.
REUSABLE CLAMP WITH LATCH RELEASE ARM FOR CONNECTING CONDUIT SECTIONS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A reusable clamp for retaining conduit sections or sanitary fittings having circular flanges together includes two gland members movable between open and closed positions. The gland members include two handles projecting outwardly from the gland members and two sets of locking detents formed on a latch finger connected to one gland member and the outer periphery of the other gland member. The locking detents engage to prevent movement of the gland members away from the closed position until a latch release arm coupled to the latch finger is depressed towards one of the handles, which causes the locking detents to disengage from one another and enables re-opening of the clamp when desired. The latch release arm and one or more of the handles also include tie-receiving loops to prevent accidental opening of the clamp unless desired by the end user.
A variety of connection types and combinations are possible. The female end may define a sight window to permit viewing of the position of a male end of an adjacent pipe. The receiving chamber may have a reduced diameter proximate to the middle of the coupling to improve sealing.
Breech lock coupling
A breech lock coupling comprising a stem receivable in a hose, a ferrule configured to receive the stem and hose, a connector, the ferrule comprising a plurality of ferrule lugs on an inner surface, each ferrule lug separated from an adjacent ferrule lug by a ferrule lug gap, the connector comprising a plurality of connector lugs on an outer surface, each connector lug separated from an adjacent connector lug by a connector lug gap, each ferrule lug gap arranged to receive a connector lug and each connector lug gap arranged to receive a ferrule lug upon engagement of the ferrule with the connector, each connector lug axially alignable with a ferrule lug upon rotation (R) of the connector within the ferrule, the connector engages a stem end, a fastener for fixing a connector position relative to the ferrule.
