CHECK VALVE CONNECTOR SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a check valve connector system for coupling a lateral pipe and a main pipe. The check valve connector system can include a fitting, a saddle member, and a check valve. The fitting can include a first end, a second end, an elbow, and an opening. The opening can be formed between the first end and the second end. The first end can be configured to receive the main pipe. The elbow can extend outwardly from the fitting and can include an aperture. The aperture can include a pear-shaped cross section and can be configured to receive the lateral pipe. The saddle member can be configured to couple the fitting and the main pipe. The saddle member can include a hole for receiving the fitting. The check valve can be disposed between the fitting and the saddle member.
JOINT DEVICE
Provided is a joint device which can be connected by quick and simple operation while being subjected to high-pressure high-flow-rate pressurized operating oil.
The present invention comprises: a closed chamber 27 provided in a hydraulic circuit on which pressurized fluid acts, the pressurized fluid circuit having an upstream side and a downstream side, which are closed by an upstream-side stop valve 211 and a downstream-side stop valve 212; a male joint 30 provided at a position in communication with the closed chamber 27; and a female joint 40 connectable to the male joint 30 and provided in an emergency hydraulic circuit connected to the hydraulic circuit. The present invention is configured so that the female joint 40 is connected to the male joint 30 while the closed chamber 27 is closed by the upstream-side stop valve 211 and the downstream-side stop valve 212.
FLAT-FACE QUICK ACTION COUPLER
A flat-face coupler assembly for releasably coupling a fluid conduit and operative to release residual fluid pressure when disconnected from the conduit. The coupler includes a housing having a central stem centrally located having at least one end fixed in order to inhibit relative movement between the central stem and the coupler housing. The central stem defines a flat-face on a distal end that is engageable with a nose member of a male fitting. A tubular stem seat is supported for reciprocal sliding movement that at least surrounds a portion of the central stem and movable between at least two positions. In one position, the tubular stem engages the central stem in order to block communication between a port that communicates with the male fitting, and a main fluid chamber defined at least partially between the tubular stem seat and central stem. In this one position, the main chamber is also communicated with drain. When the male fitting is inserted into the coupler port, it moves the stem seat to a second position at which the port is communicated with the main chamber and fluid communication between the main chamber and drain is blocked. When the male fitting is disconnected from the coupler, the stem seat moves to its one position, closing off communication of the port with the main chamber while communicating the main chamber with the drain in order to discharge residual pressure. The flat-face coupler can be mounted in a manifold assembly and form part of a hydraulic system for operating a hydraulic attachment.
Aseptic connect and disconnect coupler
A coupler for aseptically coupling and controlling fluid communication between at least two components. The coupler includes a first connector housing with an inner concave surface. A first connector extends from the top of the first connector housing and is adapted to connect to a first component. A first connector conduit extends through the first connector and into the first connector housing so as to define a fluid passageway to an inner opening on the inner surface of the first connector housing. A rotary valve is located within an inner cavity of the first connector housing and includes at least two rotary valve segments. The rotary valve segments are configured to rotate within the cavity. At least one of the rotary valve segments includes a fluid conduit extending through the at least one rotary valve segment.
Fire engine hose connector
A fire engine hose connector system and a method for using the system are reported. The system allows for rapid connection between the fire hose and the fire engine, and more importantly the system enables even more rapid disconnection. The fire engine and firefighting personnel may make a rapid escape form an overtaking wildfire. The ability to rapidly disconnect and escape from the fire scene allows the fire engine and personnel to access hydrant supplies that would otherwise not be available due to safety procedures that preclude connection when the long disconnect time requirements of prior art connectors place the escape of the fire engine and personnel at risk in a rapidly moving fire. The connector further includes a means to bend the connector for stress relief and ease of handling and multiple safety interlocks.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANIFOLD VALVES
A fluid dispenser system is disclosed that can have a plurality of dispensers, each having a valve. Each valve can be connectable in series with another valve. The dispenser system can include a manifold permitting passage of a common fluid therethrough. Any of the valves connected to two adjacent valves can be removable without removing either of the valves to which it is connected. The common fluid can have a fluid pressure associated therewith. The fluid pressure can generate a tension force for pushing two adjacent valves apart and thereby lock the valves into a series connection. A method of removing a valve from a series of valves comprises stopping flow of the common fluid through the manifold, thereby releasing the tension force. The valve intended to be removed can be rotated, and thus removed with respect to the valve intended to be left in the series connection.
No kink water hose attachment
The current invention is a no kink hose attachment. It consists of a hose attachment with a male and female connections at each end, a valve and a hose extension. The female and male connectors can rotate 360 degrees. It is designed so that a user will never have to kink a water hose to stop the water or take off the attachment.
Calibrated gauge tool for checking pressures on installed inert systems per NFPA
A method of checking a pressure of an agent cylinder that includes coupling a gauge assembly to an outlet of a gauge tool, the gauge assembly having a pressure gauge and a vent valve movable between an open position and a closed position. The method further includes moving the vent valve towards the closed position; attaching a fill adapter defining an inlet of the gauge tool to a valve port of an agent cylinder; and actuating a drive member of the gauge tool in a first direction to move a valve member of the gauge tool from a first position towards a second position to facilitate a fluid flow between the inlet and the outlet of the gauge tool.
Expandable hose
Provided is a connection assembly for connecting to inner and outer hoses. The connection assembly includes a first connector assembly, a second connector assembly, a first hose connector assembly coupled to the connector assembly and configured to be coupled to the inner and outer hoses, the first hose connector assembly including a first tube connector configured to be coupled to the inner hose and a first collar configured to be coupled to the outer hose, and a second hose connector assembly coupled to the second connector assembly and configured to be coupled to the inner and outer hoses, the second hose connector assembly including a second tube connector configured to be coupled to the inner hose and a second collar configured to be coupled to the outer hose, wherein the second tube connector has a cross-sectional area that is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the first tube connector.
RESIDENTIAL FIRE SERVICE FIXTURE II
The invention relates to an apparatus and method for providing a plurality of metered service lines to a residential utility system wherein one of the service lines may be independently disabled without affecting the other service lines.
