Loop-type band clamp installation tool
10994395 · 2021-05-04 ·

Tool for securing a loop-type band clamp around an object. Turning a drive screw displaces an upper jaw relative to a lower jaw of the tool. An alignment component is inserted through holes in band clamp tabs and then a fastener engages a receiving end of the alignment component. An opening in the lower jaw receives the fastener and an opening in the upper jaw receives an upper segment the alignment component. The upper and lower jaws compress the tabs by operation of the drive screw, closing the loop around the object. While the tabs are compressed, the alignment component is separated from the fastener and a clamp fastener is inserted through the tab holes and mated with the fastener. The upper segment of the alignment component is removed from the upper jaw. The upper and lower jaws are removed from the band clamp by operation of the drive screw.

Liquid manure hose coupler
10975992 · 2021-04-13 ·

A hose coupler optimally configured for use with a liquid manure drag hose has a pair of hose coupler ends that are joined using a hose coupler having minimal protrusions and diameter. Each of the hose coupler ends is provided with a plurality of ribs and grooves. These ribs and grooves are arranged to mate with corresponding grooves and ribs formed in a collar. For each hose coupler end, a pair of collars are preferably used to secure a hose thereto. The ribs and grooves are preferably configured to secure the hose and distribute tension applied to the hose throughout the coupler end, while ensuring that the hose wall integrity is maintained. The resulting coupler is compatible with heavier drag hose, will not interfere with or harm the hose during winding and unreeling, and will produce less drag and be less likely to produce interference with obstacles in the field.

Filtered gladhand connector

The present invention is directed to a gladhand connector having multiple ports and an integrated filter. The connector has a base that includes an air hose connector clamp on a first surface, and a first access port extending from the first surface toward a second surface, and a second access port on a bottom surface. The access ports are in fluid communication with an intermediate conduit configured to direct air received from an air hose through the housing. The connector also comprises a receptacle adjacent the first access port and in fluid communication with one of the access ports. The receptacle is configured to receive a pressure sensitive, removable and replaceable filter assembly that is configured to filter debris. The filter assembly is displaceable by air pressure of received air. The connector further comprises a mounting bracket configured to be attached to a vehicle.

Hose barb retention device
11054073 · 2021-07-06 · ·

A device for hose barb retention consists of a hose barb, a first plurality of serrations, a second plurality of serrations, an intermediate smooth lateral section, and a bumper. The first plurality of serrations helps create a tight seal between the hose barb and a hose section and thus, prevents leakages. The second plurality of serrations helps keep the hose section stationary along the hose barb and thus, prevents hose blowouts. The intermediate smooth lateral section, which is smooth, helps the user in inserting the hose barb into the hose section, and in removing the hose barb from the hose section. By mounting a hose band clamp against the bumper and adjacent the first end, the hose section is pressed against the hose barb. The bumper helps protect the hose barb and the hose band clamp.
