The insert has a guiding section rotatably arranged at least partially inside the guiding body. The guiding body has a guiding recess and an outlet recess. The guiding recess has a guiding axis and extends along the guiding axis from a receiving side to an opposite head side. The outlet recess has an outlet axis and extends from an outlet side, along the outlet axis, to the guiding recess. Also, the guiding axis and the outlet axis are at an angle relative to one another. The guiding section has a screw thread at an upper end region which is associated with the head side of the guiding body, and the cover is screw-connected, from the head side, to the screw thread of the guiding section.
HYDRAULIC ASSEMBLY, IN PARTICULAR FOR BRAKING SYSTEMS OR HYDRAULIC ACTUATING CIRCUITS OF DEVICES, IN THE MOTOR VEHICLE AND MOTORCYCLE SECTOR
A hydraulic assembly has a hydraulic unit having a hydraulic unit body, in which a delivery channel is formed, the hydraulic unit body having a hydraulic unit body base, in which an inlet mouth is formed. The hydraulic assembly has a connection having a feed pipe for receiving a hydraulic fluid and an eyelet for outputting the hydraulic fluid, the eyelet delimiting an eyelet hole and having an upper eyelet sealing surface and a lower eyelet sealing surface. The hydraulic assembly has a pipe union having a hollow cylindrical body for receiving the hydraulic fluid from the eyelet and introducing the hydraulic fluid into the delivery channel and a pipe union head, an upper gasket and a lower gasket. The connection has a shoulder having a lower projection not interfering with the lower gasket. The connection is coupled in a fail-proof manner to the hydraulic unit, preventing the hydraulic unit from rotating during assembly and use.
LOW AXIAL FORCE SEALING SYSTEM
A deformable fastening system that has a deformable member and a mating member that seal together at a reduced clamp load from a conventional fastening system. The deformable member reduces the axial force that is required to install a fastener. The system can be used in connection with the installation of various fasteners with one or more steps under the head of the bolt, or a deformable washer with at least one step or at least one taper. The stepped configuration provides a reduced contact area where the stepped portion contacts the mating member which translates into reduced clamp force range for a given torque. Thus, less axial force is needed to properly install the fastener. Alternatively, a non-deformable bolt with a clinch feature and a stepped underhead forms a seal with deformed staking material when the bolt is staked in the staking material.
HYDRAULIC COMPONENT FOR HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS, IN PARTICULAR FOR BRAKING SYSTEMS OR HYDRAULIC CLUTCH DRIVES, IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR
A hydraulic component for braking systems and/or clutch drives may have at least one connector and an eyelet. The component may also have an inlet plug that brings fluid into the block. The component may also have at least one upper seal interposed between an upper surface of the eyelet and a head of the inlet plug. The component may also have at least one bottom seal interposed between a lower surface of the eyelet and a base of the block. Between at least one of the upper and lower surfaces of the eyelet and the corresponding head or base a protuberance is interposed, so that in the absence of the corresponding seal, the protuberance creates an interspace allowing the leakage of fluid.
HYDRAULIC COMPONENT MOUNTING ASSEMBLY WITH ANTI-ROTATION POKA-YOKE BANJO CONNECTION
An anti-rotation banjo connection comprising a banjo plate attached to a pipe at its own first end edge and including an opening configured to receive a bolt, the bolt being configured to be screwed into a port of a hydraulic component, wherein a second end edge of the banjo plate, opposite to the first end edge, is provided with a positioning notch configured to partially surround a stopping fastener when the bolt is screwed into the port, whereby an edge wall delimiting the positioning notch is configured to interfere with the stopping fastener preventing the banjo plate from rotating about the bolt.
Bi-directional, rotating, pressure bulkhead penetrator
A bulkhead penetrator comprising a body having an interior and an exterior. An element having a first pressure is disposed within the body's interior in a first pressure region. An inner penetrator is configured to permit a transfer of the element from the body's interior past the physical boundary to the exterior of the body in a second pressure region having a second pressure, the inner penetrator having an interior surface exposed to the first pressure region and an exterior surface exposed to the second pressure region. An outer penetrator is configured to permit the transfer of the element from the interior of the body past the physical boundary to the exterior of the body in a third pressure region having a third pressure. An inner-outer connector connects the inner penetrator to the outer penetrator. Sealing mechanisms may prevent the transfer of the element from the first pressure region.
Air dryer assembly with manifold system
An air dryer assembly with manifold system provides increased drying capacity for pressurized air systems, such as vehicle braking systems. A manifold connected to the supply ports of two adjacent air dryers allows parallel flow of air through the separate air dryers. An identical manifold connects to the delivery ports of the two air dryers to combine the clean, dry air from the delivery ports. Similar manifolds connect the control and purge ports of the dryers to allow simultaneous regeneration of the desiccant canisters. An assembly combining two air dryers, two pretreatment units, and manifolds connecting the supply, delivery, control, and purge ports of two air dryers is also disclosed.
Fluid Connection Apparatus
A fluid connection apparatus, in which a carrier body and washer configuration are overmolded together, is configured for use in a fluid transfer assembly. The carrier body may be generally U-shaped, having two substantially parallel portions connected by a bridging portion. Each substantially parallel portion of the fluid connection apparatus includes a washer configuration including one or more washers. The fluid connection apparatus may be used to connect a fluid line fitting in the form of a fluid line fitting to an apparatus intended to provide or receive fluid through the fluid line, using a connector having a fluid passage formed therein. The fluid line fitting is placed between the two substantially parallel portions, and a connector having a fluid passage formed therein is inserted through one side of the fluid connection apparatus, through the fluid line fitting, and through the other side of the fluid connection apparatus. The fluid connection apparatus may include stabilizing features, such as ribs in the bridging portion or enlarged radii, to protect against distortion and breakage.
Vehicle disc brake
An embodiment discloses a vehicle disc brake including a caliper body, a banjo and a banjo bolt. An acting portion of the caliper body has a cylinder bore accommodating a piston. The caliper body is formed through a gravity casting method. A gate mark is formed on the bottom wall of the cylinder bore as a result of cutting the gate after the caliper body has been cast, and the gate mark includes a worked surface and a projecting surface. A union hole communicating with a hydraulic pressure chamber and a locking hole receiving the locking projection of a banjo are opened in the worked surface. And, an uneven portion is provided between the worked surface and the projecting surface.
