INSPECTION PORT SYSTEM FOR THERMALLY INSULATED PIPES, VESSELS, AND THE LIKE
An inspection port system for a thermally insulated pipe, vessel, and the like is described. The inspection port system includes a base and a lid. The base defines a base plate with a central opening and a projecting sidewall projecting from a rim of the central opening. The projecting sidewall defines a tapered cylindrical inside surface. The lid defines a tapered cylindrical outside surface and includes a handle that can lock the lid to the base. The lid is dimensioned such that the tapered cylindrical outside surface can seal directly against the tapered cylindrical inside surface with the lid inserted into the base and the lid locked to the base by the handle. In use, the base may be attached to the jacket of the thermally insulated equipment and may provide a means of readily accessing the equipment for periodic inspection.

System and method for a helical pressure snubber
A snubber includes a head portion, a shank portion, and a threaded portion. The shank portion is attached to the head portion, and the shank portion defines a shank diameter. The threaded portion is attached to the shank portion, and the threaded portion includes an external helical thread wrapped around a central shaft. The external helical thread defines a threaded diameter, and the central shaft defines a central shaft diameter. The shank diameter and the thread diameter are sized such that the shank portion and the threaded portion define at least one fluid flow path when the snubber is installed in a pressure sensor.
Sight glass
A sight glass assembly can be configured to permit viewing into an interior of a pipe fitting and can include a housing defining an inner housing surface, an outer housing surface, a first housing end, and an opposed second housing end, the inner housing surface defining a housing bore extending through the housing from the first housing end to the second housing end; an adapter defining an inner adapter surface, an outer adapter surface, a first adapter end coupled to the housing, and an opposed second adapter end configured to be coupled to the pipe fitting, the inner adapter surface defining an adapter bore extending through the adapter from the first adapter end to the second adapter end; and a transparent viewport positioned in the housing bore such that the interior of the pipe fitting is viewable through the housing bore, the viewport, and the adapter bore.
Module connection structure and measuring instrument
A module connection structure includes a first module, a second module connected to the first module via connectors, and fixing members that fix the second module to the first module. The fixing members are movable between a fixed position at which the second module is inseparable from the first module and an unfixed position at which the second module is separable from the first module. At least one of the first module and the second module has fixing member holders that hold the fixing members located at least at the unfixed position.
Remote seal system with improved temperature compensation
A remote seal system includes a remote diaphragm having a first side configured to be exposed to a process fluid. A conduit is coupled to the remote diaphragm and includes a fill fluid in fluidic communication with a second side of the remote diaphragm. A temperature sensor is thermally coupled to the conduit and configured to sense a temperature of the fill fluid. In one alternative example, a remote sensing assembly includes a flexible elongate conduit having a first end coupled to a remote diaphragm in fluidic communication with a process fluid and a second end extending a length from the first end to a process fluid pressure transmitter. A substantially incompressible fill fluid is disposed within the flexible elongate conduit. The process fluid pressure transmitter is configured to generate an output value indicative of pressure in the process fluid based on a corresponding pressure in the fill fluid. A temperature detector is coupled to the flexible elongate conduit and is configured to provide a signal indicative of an average temperature of the fill fluid along the flexible elongate conduit. A compensation system calculates a thermal expansion value based on the average temperature and adjusts the pressure signal based on the thermal expansion value.
Frac manifold missile and fitting
A missile flow line is assembled in a frac manifold to manifold the discharge from a plurality of pumps. The missile comprises at least two junction fittings joined by a flange union to at least one spooled pipe to form a conduit. The junction fittings comprise a fitting body having a primary bore and at least two feed bores. The primary bore extends axially through the body between primary union faces adapted for connection to a flowline component by a flange union. The feed bores extend radially through the body from a feed union face to an intersection with the primary bore. The feed union faces are adapted for connection to pump discharge lines by a flange union. The intersections of the feed bores with the primary bore are offset axially from each other along the primary bore.
Quick connect fluid connector with temperature sensing
A quick connect fluid connector that is detachably connectable to a fluid system to process a gas into or from the fluid system through the quick connect fluid connector. The quick connect fluid connector includes one or more temperature sensors that can sense the temperature of the gas within the fluid connector during processing. Based on the sensed temperature(s), an alert can be generated to alert a human operator conducting the processing and/or automatically shut-off the processing if the sensed temperature becomes too high. The operator will therefore be alerted if the cylinders are being processed too quickly or if the processing duration could be shortened.
Pipe clamp and pipe joint with sensor accommodation
A pipe clamp is used to connect pipe ends together and thereby establish a pipe joint. The pipe clamp and pipe joint are designed and constructed to accommodate a sensor bung and/or a sensor equipped at one of the connected pipe ends. The pipe clamp and pipe joint can be of an automotive exhaust application.
