Hose restraint system
10697576 · 2020-06-30 ·

A hose restraint system includes a base, a key, and a flexible connector. The flexible connector is secured at a proximal end to the key and at a distal end to a flexible hose. The key is configured to releasably engage the base. The base includes a sensor that provides a control signal to a control system indicating whether the key is in the locked position. The control system provides an operational interlock to prevent fluid flow in the flexible hose if the key is not in the locked position.

Depressurizer

To provide a depressurizer with a function of depressurizing a filling hose separated from a filling device when a safety device (safety joint) operates (separates). A depressurizers (10, 11) according to the present invention are mounted to a filling hose (21) for filling hydrogen from a hydrogen filling apparatus (100) to a vehicle. In the present invention, it is preferable that on a main body portion (1) of the depressurizers (10, 11) is formed a depressurizing communication hole (1B) communicating with a hydrogen gas passage (1A); a plug (2) that can be inserted into the depressurizing communication hole (1B) is mounted; and on the depressurizing communication hole (1B) and the plug (2) are formed tapered portions (a pin tapered portion 2B of the plug 2 and a tapered portion 1BB of the depressurizing communication hole 1B) with complementary shapes.

REACTOR PRESSURE VESSEL INCLUDING PIPE RESTRAINT DEVICE, AND/OR PIPE RESTRAINT DEVICE

A reactor pressure vessel includes a reactor pressure vessel body, a nozzle structure connected to the reactor pressure vessel body, a conduit structure connected to the nozzle structure, and a restraint device attached around a portion of the conduit structure. The restraint device includes collar parts that have cross sections corresponding to respective segments of a periphery of the portion of the conduit structure, brackets attached to the nozzle structure, and rods connecting the brackets to the collar parts. The collar parts are connected end-to-end to each other such that a cross section of the collar parts connected to each other corresponds to the periphery of the portion of the conduit structure. The collar parts are pinned to each other. The brackets spaced apart from each other around a periphery of the nozzle structure.

Safety anchor device for high pressure pipe couplings

A pipe restraint, system, and method for securing a pipeline, of which the pipe restraint includes an anchor configured to be secured to the ground, a first gripping member configured to grip a first pipe, a second gripping member configured to grip a second pipe that is connected to the first pipe, and one or more arms connected to the anchor and the first and second gripping members. The one or more arms are configured to constrain movement of the first gripping member, the second gripping member, or both with respect to the anchor.

Pipe restraint and shield

A pipe restraint assembly includes a restraint body configured to be removably attached to a portion of pipe. The portion of pipe is associated with a postulated pipe failure associated with a release of high pressure fluid. A plurality of apertures penetrate through the restraint body and are positioned proximate to a location of the postulated pipe failure. The apertures are configured to provide a number of passageways for the fluid to exit from the location of the postulated pipe failure and to be released outside of the restraint body. One or more restraint devices maintain the position of the apertures relative to the location of the postulated pipe failure.

HIGH PRESSURE PIPE AND FITTING RESTRAINT SYSTEM

A restraint system for use in securing temporary flow lines that include multiple pipe sections, each pair of pipe sections connected together with a fitting or coupling such as a hammer joint coupling. The system includes multiple pluralities of endless loop slings connected end to end with a cow hitch or girth hitch knot. Disconnectable fittings (e.g., shackles) are placed every three or more slings so that easy disassembly is afforded in case of leakage or other failure.

Plug with handle

A plug for sealing an interior of a tube and including a cylindrical body having a first end that is open and includes an annular surface, and a second end that is closed by a conical end wall. The cylindrical body having a plurality of ribs that are configured to engage the interior of the tube and provide a seal between the plug and the interior of the tube. The plug also includes a handle unitary with the cylindrical body that extends from the annular surface. The handle has a cylindrical inner surface that is coextensive with an interior surface of the cylindrical body and an outer surface that is coextensive with an exterior surface of the cylindrical body.

A safety device with a sliding cable and a corresponding installation, to secure conduits, pipes, piping and similar equipments subject to high pressure due to fluid under pressure circulating in such conduits and equipments. The safety device includes a flexible cable which forms a first and a second attachment eyelet for attaching and connecting the safety device to two parts of the conduits and equipments under pressure. A first and a second sleeve which close two end portions of the flexible cable form, at the ends of the safety device, the first and second attachment eyelets. Two terminals are provided at the opposite ends of the flexible cable.

Method for operating a filling adapter, and filling adapter for filling refrigerant R744 into vehicle air conditioning systems

The disclosure relates to a method for operating a filling adapter for filling refrigerant R744 into vehicle air conditioning systems as well as to a corresponding adapter. The adapter comprises mechanical clamping elements actuated by a pneumatically or mechanically controlled clamping piston. The clamping elements are clamped b the clamping system onto specifically designed sections of the vehicle air conditioning system for the filling process and are kept in the clamping position during the filling process. The clamping piston comprises at least two separate piston surfaces to be subjected to the pressure of two different pressurization media, one piston surface being effectively connected to the control pressure of the filling adapter and the other piston surface being effectively connected to the filling pressure of the refrigerant.
