Conduit and end fitting for offshore cable assembly
A conduit for an offshore cable assembly that includes a conduit body that has at least one longitudinal strength member embedded therein. The at least one longitudinal strength member extends the length of the conduit body. A plurality of cables, hoses, or a combination are received inside of the conduit body.
COUPLER HAVING PROTECTIVE BUMPERS AND BANDS
A coupler having at least one protective bumper is provided. The protective bumper is located on the exterior surface of the side of a movable sleeve of a coupler. The sleeve moves with respect to a main body of the coupler to lock or release a mating plug. A second sleeve of the coupler may also have protective bands. The protective bumpers and bands protect the coupler from damage as might otherwise occur from external forces acting upon it during use. Preferably, the diameters of the plurality of bumpers decreases the closer to the distal end of the sleeve the bumpers are located.
Apparatus, System, and Method for Tubing Caps
A cap for tubing. The cap includes a post and a socket. The post includes an exterior tube mating surface and a substantially flat top surface disposed at a first end of the post. The socket is disposed at a second end of the post. The socket includes an interior tube mating surface and a tool mating surface.
TUBULAR COMPONENT CONNECTION PROTECTOR
A protector for a male end or a female end of a tubular drilling or production component for hydrocarbon wells, the end respectively including at least one external thread or internal thread, an annular external surface and an annular internal surface separated by the at least one thread, the protector including a first internal or external thread including at least one first threaded portion including at least one thread with pitch P1 configured to cooperate with the thread of the end to screw the protector onto the end, and a second threaded portion including at least one thread with a pitch P2 different from P1.
THREADED TUBULAR END PROTECTOR
A thread protector that has an external sleeve having threads disposed on an inner side to engage with pin threads disposed on a pin end of a tubular member. The thread protector also has a flange disposed on a first end of the external sleeve to engage with the pin end of the tubular member, the threads on the inner side of the external sleeve are disposed axially adjacent to the flange and radially adjacent to the end of the pin end of the tubular member. A method of protecting the pin threads of the pin ends of the tubular members. The method includes screwing the thread protector on the pin threads of the pin end of the tubular member.
Quick release thread protector for threads of a pipe
A thread protector for threads of the pipe has a collet having an inner surface, and outer surface and an end surface, a sleeve cooperative with the collet, and an arm pivotally mounted to the sleeve and having a surface bearing against the and surface of the collet. The collet is adapted to engage the threads of the pipe. The sleeve has a plurality of tapered surfaces thereon. The arm is movable between a first position in which the collet is free of the threads of the pipe and a second position in which the collet moves along the tapered surfaces of the sleeve such that the collet engages the threads of the pipe.
Stabilizing Restraint For Catalyst Loading Tubes
A restraint system configured to stabilize catalyst loading tubes. The restraint system includes a first restraint that has a first collar portion and a second collar portion. The restraint system further includes a first fastener configured to attach the first collar portion to a first tube segment and a second fastener configured to attach the second collar portion to the first tube segment. The restraint system also includes a first linkage having a first end and a second end, and a second linkage having a first end and a second end. The restraint system includes a second restraint having a third collar portion and a fourth collar portion. The restraint system further includes a third fastener and a fourth fastener. The first ends of the first and second linkage couple to the first restraint and the second ends of the first and second linkage couple to the second restraint.
LOCKING CAP FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS
A locking cap may be selectively locked into place within a tubular opening, such as the open end of a standpipe used to charge a building sprinkler system. The locking cap may have a plug portion. A friction load can be used to limit the unauthorized removal of the plug portion.
Non-welded type branch piping reinforcement apparatus
A non-welded type branch piping reinforcement apparatus capable of preventing damage to a branch pipe system by increasing the strength of the branch pipe system by covering and protecting the branch pipe system connected to a header pipe, by a joint clamp, a connection pipe clamp, and a valve clamp includes: a joint clamp arranged to cover the branch pipe joint and the connection pipe and having an arc-shaped cross section; a connection pipe clamp arranged to cover the connection pipe and having an arc-shaped cross section; and a valve clamp arranged to cover the connection pipe and the valve and having an arc-shaped cross section, wherein one end of the connection pipe clamp is connected to the joint clamp and the other end of the connection pipe clamp is connected to the valve clamp.
Disengagement Prevention Structure for Pipe Connecting Portion
A collar having a divided structure and surrounding a fitting connection part between a spigot portion and a socket portion in a sealed state is externally mounted over both pipe portions. A first disengagement blocking part that blocks, by contact, a relative disengagement movement beyond a certain level between the socket portion and the collar is provided at a location where the collar and the socket portion side face each other. A second disengagement blocking part provided with a retaining part in which falling-off resistance between the retaining part and an outer peripheral surface of the spigot portion increases according to a disengagement movement of the spigot portion is provided on a pipe support portion side on one end side in a pipe axis direction of the collar.
