Fire insulation material
A fire insulation precursor material formed of cement, in an amount of between 10-30% w/w; and an aluminium or magnesium hydroxide, huntite or hydromagnesite in an amount of between 60-90% w/w. A fire insulation material is provided including the previously mentioned precursor material. Further described are methods of forming a fire insulation material and applications for such material in sheaths, duct coatings, cable trays and other elongate components.
System for providing a fire safe sealing in an aperture in a wall, a ceiling or a floor of a building, an element for a fire safe sealing system and a bulkhead for a fire safe sealing in the aperture
The disclosure relates to a system for providing a fire safe sealing in an aperture in a wall, a ceiling or a floor of a building, consisting of at least two block shaped sealing elements with two main surfaces being oriented parallel to each other and at least three lateral faces connecting the main surfaces to each other, of which at least one element is made from mineral fibres and a binding agent, whereby lateral faces being arranged adjacent to each other, or lateral faces and main surfaces being arranged adjacent to each other, incorporate an angle being unequal to 90° and whereby each element is shorter than the length of the aperture and smaller than the height of the aperture.

Seal for engine firewall
Disclosed is a seal for an engine firewall. The seal including a proximal part having a recess; a distal part having a notch; and a flexible intermediate part integrally extending between the proximal part and the distal part.
Fire zone hoses and methods for forming the same
This disclosure relates to a hose, such as a fire zone hose, that can include an inner tube, a thermal protection sleeve and a braided member. The inner tube can form a flow path for conveying fluid. The thermal protection sleeve can be disposed around the inner tube. The thermal protection sleeve can include an inner surface and an outer surface such that the inner tube is positioned inwards from an inner surface of the thermal protection sleeve. The braided member can be disposed around the thermal protection sleeve, such that the braided member deforms the outer surface of the thermal protection sleeve. Additionally, the hose can include a braid retainer. The braid retainer can be disposed around an end of the braided member to secure the braided member to the thermal protection sleeve.

Knit tubular protective sleeve and method of construction thereof
A knit sleeve for providing thermal protection about an elongate member contained therein and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a knit inner wall with opposite edges extending lengthwise between opposite ends and a circumferentially continuous tubular outer wall knit integrally with the inner wall. The outer wall bounds a central cavity that extends lengthwise along a central axis between open opposite ends of the outer wall. The opposite edges of the inner wall are substantially parallel to the central axis and are wrappable toward one another to form the inner wall as being tubular. The circumferentially continuous tubular outer wall is configured to be everted about the wrapped inner wall to circumferentially surround and protect the inner wall from abrasion and provide the sleeve with a dual layer wall.
HEAT RESISTANT HOSE
A heat resistant hose is described. The hose may include a first outer protective and structural woven reinforcing layer comprising a first tubular fabric structure, a second inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer comprising a second tubular fabric structure, where the second inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer is within the first outer protective and structural woven reinforcing layer, a hose innermost extruded waterproofing layer comprising an elastomeric material, the hose layer being bonded to, adhered to, or impregnated into or through the second protective layer, the innermost extruded waterproofing layer is within the inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer, and an intermediate layer interposed between the first outer protective and structural woven reinforcing layer and the second inner protective and structural woven reinforcing layer, the intermediate layer comprising a fabric laminated with a reflective material.
