A PIPING BODY HAVING AN RFID TAG
A piping is provided with an RFID tag for identifying the piping, wherein the piping comprises a first end section for being coupled to a second piping and a second end section for being coupled to a third piping. The piping further comprises a mid-section in between the end sections. The RFID tag is provided in an elongate recess that is formed in the piping and that extends in a tangential direction parallel to a surface of the mid-section of the piping.
ARRANGEMENT FOR DETERMINING THE PLUGGING POSITION OF A HOSE COUPLING ON A CONNECTION FIELD
An arrangement for determining a plugging position of a hose coupling on a connection field includes the connection field including a plurality of coupling sockets and a plurality of hose couplings in which each of the plurality of hose couplings is coupled to a corresponding one of the plurality of coupling sockets. The at least one hose coupling includes a receiving coil and each of the plurality of coupling sockets includes a transmitting coil. A data interface is disposed in communication with the receiving coil, and an evaluation unit is disposed in communication with the data interface. The receiving coil is configured to analyze an individual identifier retrievable at the transmitting coil during connection of the at least one hose coupling to one of the coupling sockets, and the identifier is transmitted via the data interface to the evaluation unit to determine the plugging position of the hose coupling.
System and method for drill pipe tallying
A method for drill pipe tallying includes detecting that a drill bit (14) has tripped in through a rig floor and monitoring movement of a drawworks (6) that supports the drill bit and a length of drill pipe. If a tag interrogating device does not detect a wireless tag (26) associated with a set of slips, the method includes counting the movement of the drawworks toward a drill pipe tally. If a tag interrogating device detects a wireless tag associated with a set of slips, the method includes not counting the movement of the drawworks toward the drill pipe tally. The tag interrogating device is positioned at a fixed location relative to the rig floor.
Adapter identification of a reprocessing device for surgical instruments
An adapter device for use in a reprocessing device for reprocessing surgical instruments. The adapter device including: at least one first fluid attachment, on an inlet side for connection to a coupling device of the reprocessing device; at least one second fluid attachment, on an outlet side for connection to the surgical instrument, the at least one second fluid attachment being adapted geometrically to an attachment of the surgical instrument; and an adapter identification feature that is detectable by the reprocessing device. Also provided is a reprocessing system having a reprocessing device for reprocessing surgical instruments and having the adapter device. The reprocessing device including: the coupling device for connecting to the adapter device; and a detection device which detects, with the adapter device connected to the reprocessing device, the adapter identification feature of the adapter device.
Coupling for connecting tubular elements for bottom-hole assemblies
A coupling including a tubular body with two ends of the body each including a portion of internal threading for joining to a tubular element, and a central portion separating the two ends each including a portion of threading and having a wall thickness greater than the wall thickness of the ends of the body. The coupling includes an extension segment that extends from one of the ends of the tubular body, after the portion of internal threading, the extension segment having same outside diameter as that of the tubular body and an inside diameter greater than or equal to that of the portion of internal threading. Moreover, the extension segment includes a housing, including an opening onto an external surface of the coupling, in which an electronically responsive identification tag is housed.
FLOATING BUOY EXCURSION ANALYZER SYSTEM
One general aspect includes a buoy position analyzer system. The buoy position analyzer system also includes a transceiver interface. The buoy position analyzer system also includes a memory storage. The buoy position analyzer system also includes circuitry may include one or more processors configured to: receive node unit data via the transceiver interface, generate an operational movement envelope for a buoy based on the received node data, store the operational movement envelope in the memory storage, and monitor additional node unit data via the transceiver interface.
FLANGE AND METHOD OF ATTACHING FLANGE PORTIONS TO DUCT MEMBERS
A flange to he assembled to an end portion of a duct member includes a plurality of pre-fabricated fastener entry areas disposed in an inner wall member, and a plurality of first fastener indicators disposed on an outer wall member, wherein the pre-fabricated fastener entry areas are substantially aligned with the first fastener indicators, each of the plurality of first fastener indicators being sized to guide and each corresponding fastener entry areas being sized to receive a self-tapping screw fastener there through to fasten the wall members to the end portion of the duct member. The fastener entry areas and correspondingly aligned fastener indicators, respectively, may be spaced apart such that the fasteners can be inserted at regular intervals along the length of the flange and the length of the end of the duct member.
QUICK CONNECT TUBING INSERTION REFERENCE MARKINGS
The embodiments described herein are directed to tubing including insertion reference markings on its outer surface that provide an indicator of how far the tubing is inserted into a fitting. In one embodiment, there is a first insertion reference marking and a second insertion reference marking. A distance between the first insertion reference marking and the second insertion reference marking is a predetermined distance. The first insertion reference marking and the second insertion reference marking provide an indicator of how far the tubing is inserted into a fitting.
Cables and methods of making cables
A cable that include a hose having a conductor located thereabout. A first strength member layer is located about the conductor. A second strength member layer is located about the first strength member layer. A first jacket is located about the second strength member layer. The first jacket is fiber-reinforced. A second jacket is located about the first jacket. The second jacket is a contrasting color to the first jacket.
Mechanism for forming orthogonal joints in conduits
The present disclosure provides an apparatus for forming orthogonal joints in conduits. The apparatus includes a first piece including a first plurality of curved openings and a second piece including a second plurality of curved openings.
