Tube with tag and method for servicing the tube
A tube comprising a tag (30). The tag (30) comprising tube service data and at least one more data of the following group of data: tube identification data, tube manufacture data, and tube operation data. The tag (30) allows the data to be read, written, and updated electronically, and the tag (30) provides data for servicing the tube (10). A method for servicing such a tube, the method comprising: providing the tag (30) on the tube (10); reading electronically the data from the tag (30) for servicing the tube (10); servicing the tube (10) according to the data read; and writing electronically the data to the tag (30) to update at least the tube service data.
PIPE JOINT APPLICATOR AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A JOINT
The disclosure relates to a pipe joint applicator with a control device and a method for producing a joint between a first pipe element and a second pipe element. The pipe joint applicator with a control device thereby detects actual process parameters via means for actual value detecting. The pipe joint applicator with a control device and the method determines therefrom the target process parameters for process control means for controlling the process parameters to be delivered to a pipe joint to be made. The pipe joint applicator with a control device optionally compares at least one actual value of the process parameters to at least one target process parameter and, in the event of deviation from at least one tolerance value range, issues an alarm to the user and/or generates an error protocol.
CONNECTION UNIT
The invention relates to a connection unit for connecting fluid lines, wherein the connection unit comprises a first connection body and a second connection body, wherein the connection unit comprises a machine-readable code which is not detectable when the first connection body and the second connection body are in an unconnected state and which is detectable when the first connection body and the second connection body are in a connected state.
PIPELINE PRESSURE TESTING ACCOUNTING FOR MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTIES
A pipeline pressure test that accounts for measurement uncertainties includes a method for performing a pressure test of a pipe section of a pipeline including receiving a desired pressure to be applied to the pipe section and a duration of time the desired pressure is to be applied to the pipe section, receiving a pressure measurement of a fluid, a temperature measurement of the fluid, a volume measurement of the fluid, and a pipe section strain measurement, determining a change in fluid pressure and a volume change, determining a pressure change uncertainty and a volume change uncertainty, checking that the pressure change uncertainty is within a pressure uncertainty threshold and that the volume change uncertainty is within a volume uncertainty threshold, determining whether the desired pressure has been applied to the inner surface of the pipe section for the duration of time; and outputting a result of the testing.
BREAK-AWAY CHECK VALVE
A break-away check valve is provided. The check valve may be configured between two passageways and may regulate the flow of liquid between the passageways. The check valve may include an actuation assembly that may actuate the check valve upon the system becoming dislodged or otherwise dislocated from at least one of the passageways.
Connector and assembly method for connector
To provide a connector that facilitates assembly while having a great axial-direction engagement force, a male joint member to be connected to a first member has a plurality of outer protrusions, and a female joint member to be connected to a second member has a plurality of inner protrusions. A circumferential-direction gap between adjacent two inner protrusions allows the outer protrusion to pass therethrough. The female joint member has, in an area opposed to inner protrusion back surfaces, a circular space that allows the plurality of outer protrusions to relatively rotate therein. The inner protrusion back surfaces of the plurality of inner protrusions are engaged in the axial direction with outer protrusion back surfaces of the plurality of outer protrusions that have passed through the circumferential-direction gaps between the plurality of inner protrusions.
Monitoring Of Pipeline Systems
A method and system for detecting displacements in installed pipeline systems and identifying components and their properties, comprising: arranging/attaching a marker to at least one of the components of the installed pipeline system, recording/scanning/photographing the marker (3) and generating a baseline image of the initial state, assigning properties and data to and depositing them on the marker, storing the baseline image at a memory location, re-recording/re-scanning/re-photographing the marker, autonomously detecting the marker and comparing it with the stored baseline image of the corresponding marker, determining alterations or displacements of the marker, outputting determined values, wherein at least two markers are arranged such that they are recorded together on a baseline image.
Hose coupling guard
A hose coupling guard including a fixture configured to connect to a hose coupling having a release mechanism, and a cover movably connected to the fixture to be movable between a first position and a second position. The cover includes a shield configured to enclose the release mechanism when the cover is in the first position, and to expose the release mechanism when the cover is in the second position. A display surface may be located on the shield and configured to be oriented to face a location from which an operator can operate the release mechanism.
Leak indicating clamp
A leak indicating clamp utilizes a bracket clamp, a flag body, and a flag cap that enables quick identification of leaks within various pipe-based systems.
Underground pipe repair device with detectable annular body and related systems and methods
An underground pipe repair device is for a joint between a service pipe and a branch pipe. The underground pipe repair device may include a T-shaped joint liner having a base portion extending laterally in the service pipe, and an arm portion extending vertically into the branch pipe, the base portion including a first base surface facing the service pipe, and a second base surface opposite the first base surface. The underground pipe repair device may include an annular body aligned with an opening for the branch pipe and coupled to the second base surface of the T-shaped joint liner. The annular body may have a physical characteristic to be detected by a robot device within the service pipe.
